Waited 38 mins to get our cold food. Only 4 other orders on the screen. Crappy food crappy service except the young blond girl behind the counter apologizing for everybody's mistakes. Never coming back to this location. MY SUGGESTION HIT TOM THUMB UP NEXT DOOR. Way better food and u get it in 10 mins

Sorry I was disappointed in the chicken sandwich. They could improve or add more mayo. They gave me ranch for my chicken strips. I never asked for ranch because I would have preferred honey mustard. I was surprised as cheap as mustard is there was no mustard dispenser or packets out. Im glad I got a savings on two sandwiches and have the app for added savings.

Do not usually leave bad reviews but then again it is McDonald’s I ordered a large vanilla iced coffee and ask if I could get the vanilla syrup on the side through the intercom the MANAGER started laughing once at the window I paid she asked once again about the vanilla syrup on the side I said yes. she then shut the window slightly I could hear everything she was telling her co workers in Spanish she then gave me my change and only opened the window enough for her arm to fit through I don’t understand if I’m being charged for

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in my entire life at a fast food resturant, and I've gone here many times. I do not like making negative reviews but something has to be said. The manager was very rude and disrespectful upon us going through the drive through. We placed an online order and once we got to the second window, the manager gave us only one of the drinks that was a size small with ice in it, when we ordered a large no ice, and only one meal, when we ordered two. We politely told him that we didn't get the right size of drink, and that it had ice in it and we still needed the other meal. He said "The $5 meal deal, has the smallest drink and that's what you're getting." I said "sir we upgraded" and we told him we'd get the receipt. He scoffed, got frustrated and argued with us. So once my friend and I handed him the receipt he said "oh my god". He then yelled at us to give him the one meal/bag of food he did hand us and said "that ones not your order its the wrong one, thats what ive been trying to tell you!" As if we had any idea he'd given us the wrong food since we checked and it was one of the $5 meal deals. So we gave it back. Then they told us the machine was not working for the frozen drinks so I requested a refund..since I paid for it. Once we recieved our food, they didn't even give us the right sauce. Ultimately I couldn't care less about the sauce, I'm more so disheartened to see such a person taking charge. I hope that he treats people more kindly in the future because that was totally unacceptable behavior. And as a local, I don't think I'll be coming back to this location ever.

Swing thru the drive thru 3/20/25, food was about as good as it can be for a McDonalds but what i was surprised the most was the bag was folded nice, retaining all the heat. This practice at Most Fast food restaurants is often forgotten, or the bag is over packed. Might be Petty, but I'm 49. When I was 14, folding a bag was a training procedure and an important part of the experience.

Went in with 2 children Feb.14th and ordered at kiosk, no receipt came out. We took a number and sat down, after 10 minutes an employee came over and asked if we remembered what we ordered! We found what we ordered on our phone app and had paid with a card yet they didn't know what we ordered. There was no paper in the register or either kiosk. I told an employee about the kiosks being out, They didn't know about it, they were to busy goofing around in back, the place was dirty and no one was paying attention to this!!! Will never go there again!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The absolute worst McDonalds I have ever been too and I'm a truck driver i have been to a lot. They are so rude and behave like you are an inconvenience to them literally EVERY order is messed up or missing something. And trying to get someone's attention when at the counter is a JOKE no one pays attention. I'd rather driver to Rice lake than stop here anymore!

In the drive through for very long time finally nocked on window many times I finally had to go inside and get my money back and go to a different restaurant down the road. There was an extreme amount of cars behind me waiting. They didn’t answer the knocks on the windows at least the gal that was at the counter that gave me my refund was very nice and apologized.

February 9 2025. 2:30 pm. My husband and I have stopped at the McDonalds in Barron several times over the years. Today was nothing but disappointment. We had to wait for awhile because ther card reader was down. When we got to the window for our food it took forever. When it finally came the burgers and fries were cold. The cheese wasn't even a little melted. For the amount of time we waited it should have been hot. My husband ordered a large fry, never got them, they weren't even on the order slip. He ordered a medium chocolate shake and me a large shamrock shake. He got medium shamrock. What a joke. We will not be going back there again.

Went to Barron McDonald’s just before 1030 and placed a mobile app order. There was a line in the drive thru so we proceeded to the speaker a minute after 1030. They refused to make my breakfast order and continued to be rude and hostile with me. I had already paid for the order through the app and they refused to give me my food or a refund. Horrible service

Unfortunately, not the best McDonalds around. Service was ok, and the nuggets were ok. But not sure how old the sauce packets were, they tasted off. The label said copyright 2021, which would make them 3 years old, but I know they use labels for many years so it could just be that. But my smoothie was not good. Tasted slightly bitter, not sure what that was about. Took a little while for our group too, seemed understaffed back there. Could use a little work

This McDonald's unfortunately needs some work. Our fries came out cold. Took awhile like 10-12 minutes to get our food. Didn't know why it took so long if we got cold fries. They were staffed right. It wasn't busy when we showed up. I do have to say the customer service of Chance was excellent. She helped us out with e cold fries and did have no complaints. I definitely recommend this McDonald's but go on your own risk.

What a joke. $20 for a burger and a kids meal, people at both windows were super flustered and didn't know what I ordered and had to ask multiple times(there were only two other cars in the drive thru). Asked for an extra ranch (which I've done countless times with no issue), the first lady ignored me so I waited, seconds ady gave me a blank look and walked away. I heard them talking about if they should charge me so I asked if it cost extra for ranch and they said yes. Seriously? Just needed one extra packet. You're a multi billiion dollar company, can't spare an extra ranch packet? I rarely do fast food anymore but this just solidified that I'm done. Way too pricey for subpar food and bad service.

At the drive thru. We ordered 4 of the same happy meals, an oreo mcflurry, and a #3 meal. The fries for the #3 were in the bag upside down, the McFlurry was not mixed at all, there was an extra nuggets in one happy meal, and we asked for Xtra fries and got apple slices. Good job getting food out quickly, but it wasn't right.

I still enjoy going to McDonald's. But seeing that I'm a diabetic I really shouldn't go there. And actually I can't afford to go there anymore when meals cost over $12 a person and that's probably lower than normal. But I have to say my dinner was great my quarter pounder with cheese french fries were hot they were delicious with frappe that was also good.

We have noticed that the service here has gone downhill the past few years, but tonight was the last straw. We placed our order, then had to wait 20 minutes "for the French fries." When the order was brought out, we were missing a 4 piece nugget, and a Big Mac was thrown into the bag. When we told the guy that our order was incorrect, he took the receipt and bag back inside. Not even 2 minutes later, a woman walked up handed us the bag and said "The 10 and 4 piece nugget are in here. I checked it." We looked, and the nothing had changed- the 4 piece nugget was missing and the Big Mac was there. Commenting on the Big Mac, we were told "Oh. It's an extra for you."
Frustrated and with an upset baby and toddler, we left. This was our last trip to McDonald's. With the amount of money and time spent on this order, there was zero return on our investment.
Don't waste your time or money here. It's not worth it.

Waited at curbside for a half hour before going inside and seeing what was taking so long. The young lady I spoke to went around the corner and grabbed my bag of food. It had the drinks in the bag so I know it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. I checked the fries and yeup they were cold. I asked for it to be remade because it was old and not safe to eat. She needed to ask her manager. I stood at the counter when she grabbed the manager on duty and I could hear her yelling yes yelling "NO! We made this order already and sent it out like 10 minutes ago". I said no I've been sitting in my car waiting for a half hour. Are you sure you brought it to the right car? Also if you brought me my food already why was it sitting on a table in the back? She rolled her eyes at me and said fine we'll remake it. I finally got my order after 40 minutes total wait time. Completely unprofessional especially coming from a manager.

If you like cold fries, a wrong order this is the place for you. They commonly just throw your food together, and it's often not hot or fresh. I'd reccomend going to the turtle lake location, instead if you want decent food or honestly the A&W on the opposite side of town. This MacDonalds does not deserve your business.

I went 3 or 4 mins before they closed and they didn't help us the board was on then they turned it off as we were sitting there and we went to the window to tell them and the boy didn't even help us still and there was a couple girls sitting in the car at the last window just sitting there talking to the 2 guys working

Ordered a chicken sandwich and got no chicken…. Seriously the worst McDonald’s ever in Barron… it took 25 minutes to even get it! Very upsetting!!!! Not the first time stuff has happen in this location the workers just stand around ..

I don't normally come to Wisconsin.. but when I do and I'm ready to leave home to Minnesota from Rock Fest.. I stop at McDonald's for a quick lunch. I would give a zero review if I had that option. I ordered a 2c meal which was a Deluxe Quarter Pounder but asked for no onion and extra pickles. Then my boyfriend got 2a which is a regular Quarter Pounder but he added bacon. We went through the drive through a second time after finding the food was wrong, because the front door was locked since lobby was closed.. at 11:37am; In our bag was the wrong order.. we got a Crispy Chicken add bacon, and a regular Quarter Pounder. After talking with staff and a manager then checking the receipt, we noticed the receipt was wrong so the person who took our order put it in wrong or heard us wrong. Then we checked our food again and we had to go through the drive through a third time because they gave us a Deluxe with no pickles and no onions.. and a regular quarter pounder with no bacon. I asked for them to just hand me pickles and bacon since that's all I was missing this time and we'll leave. The only good thing about Wisconsin is cheese and Rock Fest... I have worked at McD's and been to many McD's but this one was the worst.. hopefully it's not because of Wisconsin because Minnesota McD's aren't that bad. Anyway.. thanks for trying..

This place is worst Mc ds ever, never open for inside, I was finally able to get in 2 people making sandwiches not wearing gloves I would stay far away for this location
