I have to stop going to the drive up. I order my hamburger without onion, and they constantly put in onion. I am allergic to onions. Toss the burger out. Why do I even try to pick up a meal there, on my way to work?

New lady tried to help but needed to call the manager on duty for the lunch shift for Wednesday, May 28th 2025. I could tell there was somewhere else she would rather be. Was a little snotty towards the new girl. Took 5 minutes to get two hamburgers with ketchup and onions.

I cannot, for the life of me EVER get what I ordered. Not just at this McDonald's, but EVERY McDonald's I ever go to. I don't eat cheese so I always order my items with no cheese. But 90% of the time, they still come with cheese. Like, how hard is it to read a piece of paper that says "no cheese"?!?!?! McDonald's seems to be the only place that struggles with this because any other place (Wendy's Burger King) seems to do just fine giving me the correct order. McDonald's, however just cannot seem to get it right. It's sooooo frustrating because I have to go back almost Every time to ask for no cheese even though
that's how it was ordered to begin with.

We had an unfortunate experience with the McDonald’s in Chippewa Falls that we feel needs to be shared. While traveling with our small children, we accidentally placed a mobile order through the app for this location, even though we were nowhere near it. Realizing the mistake almost immediately, we called the store on Sunday afternoon to ask for help canceling the order.
The woman who answered identified herself as the manager. Rather than offering assistance or even basic courtesy, she abruptly told us to “Google it” and stated she was unwilling to help. We politely repeated our request, hoping for a bit of understanding—especially given that we were on the road with young kids and trying to resolve the issue quickly. Unfortunately, her tone grew more dismissive and condescending. She told us that if we didn’t like her response, we could call the manager and complain the next day—implying she wasn’t actually the manager after all.
To top it off, she set the phone down without properly ending the call, which felt like an intentional brush-off.
We understand that mistakes happen, and we weren’t demanding anything unreasonable—just a bit of help in correcting a simple, honest error. The lack of professionalism and empathy, especially toward a family traveling with children, was deeply disappointing. This experience reflects poorly not only on the customer service of this specific location but also on the McDonald’s brand as a whole.
We hope this feedback leads to a more compassionate and helpful approach in the future, particularly toward families and travelers who may be relying on quick, reliable service.

The guy in the drive thru- makes us feel very uncomfortable. He's not friendly...AT ALL...and just rushes you to order. We come here enough to know. I'm finally leaving a review because we came through here tonight with my family again for a quick bite after a long night, and we got the same experience in the drive with that same guy. If you need proof of my upset...then our order # was 93 for $25.25 and we were there at 10:15pm on 10/19/2024. I didn't see a name tag but the guy just shouldn't be doing that kind of job if he can't even be friendly. Even once. ONCE!!!!!

Ordered a kids nugget happy meal w/ bbq sauce and a medium fry w/bbq sauce. Never received bbq sauce with either meal, happy meal only had the kids nuggets in the box. No fries, apples or toy. When I pulled up to the window the guy tried giving me a bunch of ice cream.

Ok so Jill was super helpful and took the time to call another store with an order issue I had. Everyone from both locations were super kind and tried to help the situation and just wanted to give a shout out to them both!
She went the extra mile to ensure it was taken care of when she could have easily just said sorry for the inconvenience.
Wasn't the response I was expecting and though it was my fault they were awesome. That was about 5:30pm on a Monday(today) right when they were all picking up in business.

I could not get fish cooked at grocery deli next door. So a delicious Fish Fillet Sandwich with a small order of fries that were came out large and share with husband who is into Summer Sausage Sandwiches, the Sausage is from Smith Brothers who gave up Cough Drops(jk) located off State Hwy 13 in Colby, Wisconsin I ate the evidence so not any photos were taken

This was the 1st time I had been to that Mc Donald's. I used the drive-thru as i was in a hurry. Haven't yet been inside at that location. But I was very impressed with some of the food I got that day. The French fries were made perfect and I had to eat them right away. There is nothing as good as fresh hot fries from Mc Donald's!! I also ordered the Quarter pound cheese burger. But I wasn't as impressed with that. The burger was grilled right but it had way too much mustard on it. It was almost 3x as much as I normally see on this sandwich. So Mustard was all I could taste.. And that isn't a very good taste to have left over in a persons mouth. So I ordered a caramel frappe for my drink. And they did a good job making that. So overall the meal was good just Way too much Mustard.

I ordered 2 happy meals with other things. I ordered a cheese burger with double fries for the 2 kids. I requested no mustard, onions or pickles so therefore, there should still be ketchup and cheese! All they got was ketchup on their burger. It’s very disappointing because this is the second time this has happened. I also ordered ketchup and ranch and received none! It was very disappointing and upsetting. I also tried calling the store many times and it doesn’t work. Something needs to be done.

The app didn't work, so I went inside for assistance. Workers were helpful & friendly, but said the app wasn't working for a lot of people and no luck there.
The food was under lights too long. Fries were wimpy, and Chicken McNuggets were dried out.
The door marked as accessible was below standards. I was on crutches and had difficulty opening the heavy door. There was no button to assist with door opening. The tile was wet & slippery, with no rug, and my crutches slipped more than once.

We were the only car in drive thru. Lady taking the order had no clue what a big Mac bundle was. All of our food was cold !!! The Macs were so sloppy we had to remake them just to eat it. Mac sauce tasted funny. Sweet tea tasted off. I wouldn't of given any stars but you have to do atleast one to leave a review. Workers want 15 or more an hour hahahahah. Minimum wage is more like it. Worst McDonald's I've ever had. Jacked up prices and smaller food. Never again!!!!!!

Place is dirty. Windows filthy for weeks. The walls and seats dirty for weeks as well. Yet they worry about the floor so much, that they mop over your feet during breakfast. Vacuum the same time they're cooking the food. They had better change their ways or I and others are going to eat someplace else.

The service was non-existent. Thank goodness for the ordering kiosk or we likely would have had to go somewhere else. I’m not sure who the manager is but they’re either very poorly run or short staffed and poorly run.
We waited awhile for our food and noticed others waiting as well. One person asked for a drink carrier and the employee asked like it was such a taxing request.
We did get everything we ordered so I guess that is a positive and the bathrooms were pretty clean.

It was a convenient stop on our way home from vacation. They would’ve forgotten my daughters food if we didn’t say we were missing something. Our order was wrong. Our food was slapped together, and tasted old. Our frappes were melted as if they had them or the ingredients sitting out for a while.

Ordered a quarter pounder deluxe and was advised that the quarter pounders were cooked to order. Then when I got home and opened my bag, it was a quarter pounder with cheese. DON’T DRIVE AWAY BEFORE CHECKING YOUR ORDER FOR ACCURACY! The staff here are incompetent. Why do I need to consistently tell these people how to do their jobs? “Hey you made my burger incorrectly”, “hey you forgot my drinks”, “hey I’m missing an item”…This place is incapable of completing such simple tasks required of them. Waited at the register before anyone acknowledged we were there. Not sure how long the chicken nuggets sat under the heat lamp. They were hard and tasteless. The sweet and sour sauce has changed and it was terrible!!! The only bright spot of the visit was the fries were hot! Looked at my husband and said "when will we learn?" Worst McDonald’s ever!! Not only was the wait at the drive thru ridiculously long….there was one car in front of us and we waited 15 minutes…but the food was awful! Ever heard of salt on the fries?! And napkins people!!

We went through this McDonald's in Upper wisconsin. We were on a fall color ride and we're looking for a spot we've stopped before that offered a hot coffee and a light meal. It's a very typical McDonald's but it's everything I expected at McDonald's to be. It's a nice stop and easy to get to and easy to get back out.

Well where do I even begin? First the 1/2 hour wait for my food. Second 1/2 my food was missing. Third finally got my food, realized that bites were taken out of my chicken nuggets. Then manager tried fighting me about it, saying it wasn’t them. Then I asked her if it looked like bite marks, she said yes. And still denied it was them. Finally, got back to the table, realized fries were ice cold. Let that one slide didn’t wanna wait another 30 mins for fries. Lastly the place was nasty. Food over floor, no napkins, no lids for medium or large cups. And to top it off, it wasn’t even busy. Maybe two cars the whole time in the drive thru. And along with that employees standing around with hands in their pockets. This is ridiculous, no place should ever be like this! I don’t not recommend anyone coming here to eat. Rather just spend the extra 5 mins for Chippewa or 10 for Eau Claire. 0/5 stars!!

Very happy with the service here. Had an order of two 10 piece chicken nuggets and a sandwich that was missing the second order of nuggets at the drive through; employees immediately fixed it during a very busy time.
I preffer this location over other locations in my area as the staff are always friendly and there is no fuss over fixing issues.
I usually will not leave reviews for fast food but these guys are on point. I do a bit with customizing food orders and these guys get it right or are fast to fix it each time.

Ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and burritos, it was all cold. It was 6am so I am not sure how our food was cold.
