I've grown up in Delavan, born and raised here. This McDonalds isn't the worst in the world like alot of these people make it out to be. It's understaffed yes- but the problems people bring up I have never had in all the years I have been consistently ordering from there. I had the worst experience at this McDonald’s. Drive thru person was not kind. I placed a mobile order and after I placed my order the app crashed. I reopened it and couldn’t find my order but my payment was already taken. I waited a few minutes and tried to keep reloading the app. Didn’t work. I’ve been using the mobile app for years so I’m very familiar with it. So I went to the drive thru to ask if they had my order, she said no. I kept messing with the app and it finally popped up. I apologized to the lady that I took a bit to get it and apologized for placing the order for in store. I understand I messed up by clicking the wrong pick up option. There should’ve been a way to change that in the app. Before I could ask if I could get it through the drive thru, she was very rude and kept saying I can’t help you and I’m system won’t let me release it. Okay I understand no big deal. I left the drive thru so that I could park and cancel my order and try again. I have a 2 yr old and a newborn in the car. It wouldn’t let me cancel my order so I went back to the drive thru so I could ask how I cancel/get my money back if her system won’t let her give out a counter order through the drive thru. Once again very rude and just kept saying I can’t help you and being very defensive. My only options were to either be out my money or bring my NEWBORN BABY and 2 yr old inside. I went inside because at this point my toddler is upset thinking shes not getting her food and I didn’t want to go somewhere else AND be out my money. No one at the counter greeted me or other customers. Overall very awful experience, especially for a newly postpartum mom. I’ve been to other McDonald’s and have never had this bad of an experience. Of course they don’t care because they are a big company and will make their money either way.

This 9th day of July could have just been another forgotten Tuesday in my life, but the certain technique you used to barely cook my french fries was one of a kind. I ordered door dash yesterday afternoon to be delivered at 1030 so my wife can have warm meal kinda when she got off of work.
Well funny things happened yesterday. First we can start with everything on the order was cold except the watered down soda that was half spilled in my bag still dripping. Nothing was consumed. It was a complete waste of my money.
It gets better. I went to bed at midnight not expecting any one to show up since they said they could find someone to deliver it. Well after I went to bed shortly after midnight my phone starts blowing up. The food has arrived. Being late I can take with a little communication but they had 2 hours to figure out how to remake my order so when it arrived it would be fresh and not covered in soda. I try to avoid delavan mcds at all costs. The food is subpar, it's expensive for the size and value and they don't get your order right half the time. I live in Delavan and I am at this McDonald's at least three times a week. I fill out the survey on the receipt for the buy one get one sandwich free. For as long as I can recall this location would allow me to get a 10 piece McNuggets as one of the items with the buy one get one free but was informed today that they could no longer use the Mcnuggets with the receipt offer due to an issue with a customer and the manager. So now one issue is going to ruin it for the rest of us. I called the Elkhorn location and they do accept Mcnuggets with the receipt coupon so now I have to drive 12 minutes away from where I live just to get Mcnuggets with the receipt coupon and Delavan is turning people away. Money is money and it is not coming out of the manager's pocket when the coupon is used.
