I got a McGriddle Meal with 2 hash browns. I ate some of the sandwich and half of the hash brown because I noticed white hairs all over it, like it hit a dirty floor and they just picked it up and served it anyway! I looked at the other hash brown and it also had the white hairs! So gross! I spit the food into the bag and no way am I eating the rest!!

It's against policy to wrap food inside out as the ink can not be touching the food. It's consistent with this location and it needs to change. I’d skip this location. Went through the drive through for 2 bags of ice (only because I had several kids in the car). Both lanes were open (someone was pulling out of the lane we were in when we got there.) We waited at the speaker watching 4 cars go through the second lane only to be told to “hold on” between car #3 and car # 4 at our speaker. Service is not so great there. The ice was ok though. So if you pick the correct lane you’re golden.

Just flawless. Shout out to all who were scheduled for a Saturday night in June 2025. Came in with a big group, ordered 120 nuggets among other things and got no pushback, no complaints at all. The staff were compliant and courteous. I walked into the men’s room and was met with an oasis of cleanliness and spaciousness. Good stuff Eagle River McD!

That is now two straight weekends where this location is closing early. Says open until 12am and at 11:27pm we pull up to the drive thru, the message saying someone will be with you shortly comes through, then nobody takes your order. Drove passed the window and there are people in there, clearly just don’t want to take your order. I’m glad the taco bell next door has actual workers with real work ethic and aren’t lazy, and actually work until they close. Pathetic.

We ordered 6 McChickens with cheese, but only half had cheese. It wouldn't have been a big deal, if when we came back to get the McChickens, they would've just handed us three McChickens, made the way we'd paid for initially, but the manager asked us to produce the cheeseless McChickens. We had already eaten two of them, so we have them the one, and then they refunded us 1 slice of cheese. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced at a fast food restaurant.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this McDonald’s location. A group of my friends and I decided to grab a bite together- some of us wanted McDonald’s, and the others opted for Subway. We thought it would be fine to meet up at McDonald’s since the majority of us were eating their food. However, one of the male employees was incredibly rude to us, saying we were being disrespectful for eating other food in the restaurant.

I understand if there's a policy, but the way this employee approached us was uncalled for and unprofessional. We were paying customers and deserved to be treated with respect, not hostility. We won’t be returning to this location again.

I have been coming to this location for years now! Doesn’t matter what time of the year or day I have always had the best McDonald’s experience in the state. Food always seems to be hot and fries are always good! Apple pies come warm as well as soft cookies. It's McDonald's. I can't say I have ever seen a "happy employee." Most don't even fake it. Most of the time, my order is correct. Last month, I had two days back to back I received the wrong order. Biscuits, egg and cheese and I got sausage. I have gone inside, and it's never clean. Often, you have to wait at the counter for someone to notice you're there.

Stopped in here on our way home today (4th of July). Ordered a happy meal for our <2 year old daughter. The teen running the window was clearly phoning it in. He passed us our drinks. I was chatting with my wife for a bit, turned back to see him just holding the happy meal out the window without saying a word, not even looking to see if I was grabbing it. Not egregious, just bare minimum level of service. Then 20-30 mins up the road, our daughter woke up from a nap. We went to give her her happy meal. Found that they didn’t give us the chicken nuggets or the apple juice, so we just had apple slices, fries, and BBQ sauce. I never expect much from McDonald’s, but somehow they managed to disappoint.

Food was served warm, but Big Mac is so over sauced that the sandwich doesn’t even want to stay together. Condiment station/soda bar was a sloppy mess. Although I ordered to eat in and pick up at the counter, my food was packaged to go forcing me to ask for a tray. I could have used the advertised “order at the table” option in the app, but all they do is stand at the counter and call your table number. Only reason I stop in is because the app has some good deals to offset their crazy prices.

Maybe I hit them on a bad day. I stopped in again today (love the app.) The inside was pristine with one associate dedicated to keeping floor and surface’s clean. Soda/condiment station cleaned and stocked. All with the 4th of July parade rush happening. I again used the table delivery option and my food showed up piping hot and with a smile. I also liked that the management reached out for comment and I plan to take advantage of that once the holiday is over.
