The food is as good as any McDonald's. However, the wait times are insane. Routinely waiting 20-40 minutes in the drive-thru. I tried using the McDonald's app for curbside pick-up but ended up waiting so long I had to go to the drive-thru or just leave! How is this possible in what is supposed to be the quintessence of fast food? Culvers has a shorter wait and they supposedly make the food fresh! The food should be ready to go sitting in a heat cabinet or whatever! There are times where I just order a cheeseburger and fries but it's 20 minutes at least! Why for the love of god? Part of the problem is they never make anyone pull ahead into the designated drive thru parking spaces so those of us with small orders don't have to wait. I've been going there for almost a year now and I've never seen anyone park there. Just a crazy long drive thru line and empty parking spaces. It makes no sense! I suspect nobody wants to bring the food all the way outside. The only place to get your food quickly is Taco Bell!

We pulled into the Hartford McDonald’s and we were ordering out food and this autistic girl or idk took out order wrong and when we asked for a small drink and fry with our meal she said WE CANNOT DO THAT which yes you can, and her attitude was so bad and she sounded like she was on a roller coaster with that voice and my sister started recording and her voice got so much softer and my mom recorded and got more video. I did get all of my food, on the cool side as usual. One small or should I say big problem the cheeseburger was just a cheese sandwich, there was no burger on it! So it ended up going in the trash.

They get 1 star today. Food is always the same, never got our order wrong. But today the location was filthier than usual. We sat in the kids play area. Usually I go ask for a wash cloth to clean the tables. Today they brought our food out and with the amount of garbage on the tables and floor one would think they would come back and clean it up. But no. An employee saw it so they can't say they didn't know. There are always lots of employees putting orders together at this location. One could be spared to walk around and clean up every 20 minutes.

Fries at this McDonald’s will never be filled. Burgers always have that made hours ago flavor frappes are complete liquid. What’s going on? Staff so dang rude. Also got a Oreo McFlurry extra extra Oreos and it was like I never ordered extra x2 asked the girl if I could please have some more Oreos added in and showed her all ice cream no Oreos even touching, I did pay for it what’s the problem? A guy was by her overheard and he was like No Worries I’ll make you a new 1 and she said NO!…she can just have this…. Handed me a little cup with literally a pinch I thought she was joking. She wasn’t. Even he was in shock,, when she walked away he did make a new 1 he was embarrassed of her. Shout out to him I didn’t catch his name but if he read this he knows what’s up!! Thing is none of these employees are trained to provide shyt customer service but that’s what you get. Ordered a cheeseburger happy meal for my kid 3 mcflurries and 1 big Mac sandwich on a 90 degree day. Paid, got to the food window and they gave me the cheeseburger happymeal, my 3 mcflurries and told me to pull up and wait for the 1 bigmac... ok. So I did. Waited, waited, and waited some more. Kid was in car so I couldn't walk in to see where my 1 burger is and why it's taking so long, so I googled the number for the McDonald's, dialed it and spoke to the manager asking where my sandwich is and why it's taking so long. Told him I have 3 mcflurries half melted now while I wait for 1 sandwich to be made. Finally brought me outmy sandwich and went home. Opened my sandwich at home and it was a mess... looked like it had been tampered with by staff, hard to explain why I thought that but it definitely did not look right. Some small pieces of lettuce and diced onions were smashed into the top of the burger patty yet none stuck to the top bun, and the lettuce on the sandwich was under the meat patty. How did some get smashed into the top of the patty yet not the bun that was connected to it? Whole sandwich just looked off. Probably because I called and asked what was taking so long. Ended up tossing the burger out. We have since switched to Culver's since it's the same price now but Culver's is much better food. You can Tell by all the new released toys already collected in the photo we used to go alot... $26 for 1 happymeal, 3 mcflurries and 1 bigmac....go to Culver's it's better and same price.

Just traveled through Hartford on our way home from a particularly hard day. Stopped in the drive thru and ordered 2-2a combo meals with drinks. We're told the price and move through the line. We get our stuff and no fries. I go back around and order a large fry. I get to the payment window and tell the teenage girl with the headset, "Hey I ordered 2 -2a meals, not just burgers and drinks. I got an eye roll and a "Well, I'm not the one that took your order." I was 🤏 close to backing up the drive thru lane to talk to a manager. Your employees think they can be rude? I can be just as rude, but fortunately for her, I chose not to make her cry today. I won't be back, but I have a suggestion. Teach your employees to make a half chocolate, half shamrock, shamrock shake. When a customer asks and is told they can't do it, they either won't do it, or are too stupid to actually do it...

4 stars down to 2 stars. The entire morning crew just vanished, maybe a little over a month ago by now. Now there are always different people. It takes double the time to get through. This morning it took 3 minutes just to get my order taken. There were only 3 of us in any part of the drive thru. Total time to get all the way through was 8 minutes. The food is still the same which is good. We used to go every morning, M-F, but now it takes to long to get through. OLD REVIEW: We only go here for breakfast. Always go through the drive-thru around 6.15am. Food consistent, service friendly, and time about the same to get through.

I visit McDonald's far more than I should admit, and the service and food quality can be all over the place from location to location, and visit to visit. That being said, as far as McDonald's goes, the Hartford location is the BEST.

The employees at the Hartford McDonald's seem to pride themselves in doing their job well. They are quick, efficient, and friendly. The food is as fresh and hot as I've ever come across at a McD's. I've had very few issues with quality at this location and the few I have encountered have been met with quick resolution.

The downside to this location is the parking and drive-thru situation are not ideal. It can be difficult to exit the parking lot when they are busy; there just isn't a lot of space.

It took 25 minutes to get our food after ordering at the drive thru. This location needs to be properly staffed. Ridiculous. I saw so many cars just leave as they were waiting to order at the drive thru. Honestly this location shouldn’t be open 24 hours if it’s this understaffed. I’m sure if you were to analyze sales at this time period (night) and deduct the costs of remaining open throughout this time period it’s most certainly losing money. The rate at which food was being served made me wonder what was going on. This not only reflects poorly on this location and the McDonalds brand, it’s also likely costing this franchisee money. Better off reducing hours and being open when properly staffed… doesn’t take a scientist to realize this. Franchisee or GM must take action, and as a loyal McDonald’s customer, I’ll never be returning to this location and will also be looking to get my money back.

The wait is usually long if you go through the drive-thru. I do prefer to order at the kiosk inside because if the large waits, just to get your order in. But be warned if you order inside and do not use the kiosk. You will be lucky if a worker is there at the register or having a worker acknowledge you for you to place N order.

I have a problem with a worker there. Her name is Lauren. She works mornings and she might even be a manager. But she is genuinely not nice. She has a big attitude problem and no customer service skills. I hate going there in the morning because of her. I understand that mornings aren’t fun but I don’t understand why there is a lack of respect for customers. As someone who has only worked in customer service I have never given anyone attitude no matter the time of day. Even if I’m having a horrible day.
