Watched three cars in the drive-through get service from the other lane before I got service. Then we sat in line. For a McDonald’s that is near an interstate and busy. You should staff accordingly or shut down a lane so people know that you’re too busy to service people.

Workers making food without gloves. As someone who works at a McDonald’s, it is not difficult to put gloves on before touching someone’s food. Food quality bad. No salt on fries and hardly filled. No adults were in sight, probably why the kitchen looked like a circus, unfriendly service and multiple health codes being violated.

Very unprofessional. I won't dine in here again. All I could hear, with my children, was employees talking trash about their customers and situations with customers. They don't have common customer service courtesy whatsoever. I said thank you for my food, no "you're welcome". I had a small issue with my good, went up and politely asked for the requested toppings on the side to make things easier, said thank you and again, no "you're welcome, thanks, have a nice day, none of it. McDonald's is already over their head with their newest prices and no kids play places anymore. It's just not worth it, this specific location being very unprofessional. The only thing good were the sandwiches. Nuggets were gross, fries cold and soggy. Choose another restaurant. Thus one is not it.

The ladies here were extremely warm in there smiles. No problem asking for a free water cup. I charged my phone and was welcomed in to the cozy cafe. The bathrooms were ready to sharted in. Extremely clean makes an unforgettable experience. I didn't get any food. Just water and to charge my phone. But I would say. A quality service to the community. Thank you mcdonadls. Thanks Wisconsin. And thanks ladies. And any men in the back. Proud of you for working and doing something better with your life.

After 5am and they didn’t have outside lights on signifying they are open. I ordered a Limited Time Hershey Frappe at the drive through and the worker hesitated and said the machine is down. EVERY SINGLE one of these stores says that so it’s very disappointing that the company is continuing to run this way. Enjoy the loss of money on a product. Honestly, why even offer it if you won’t sell it?

I ordered a coffee thru the app,but my app picked up a different location and the lady told me I couldn't get my coffee at her location. You may sit in the drive thru for 15min or more. They refuse to move cars ahead or in waiting areas, so if you order just a drink you have to sit and wait for the person in front of you to get their 55 cheeseburgers. Otherwise I rarely have an issue.

There's one employee I appreciate the most. I was having a bad day. He gave me a smile and he always and works there on Saturday. He's disabled and has a good entune. Some of these co-workers should take notice of them. He's fast and I couldn't believe the bathroom way he cleaned it. He was fast and kind to me. I am recognition at his manager. Should see this message. I think we all support him I am giving one morning out if you don't have time during the week. He's there on Friday and Saturday and Sunday in the morning. I see him working. He's short and goes by Tom. He's told me so let's give him support

The lobby made me uncomfortable food was terribly old and extremely disappointing I asked for a deluxe quarter pounder and it was dry. The buns were old, and all I got was a quarter pounder. The whole order was old fries were soggy nuggets were old and dry. The chicken was dry old. The buns were old. The whole thing was just extremely disappointing and for the price that it was it should’ve been fresh when asked to be freshly dropped. I personally do not think I will ever be back

We stopped for lunch today . I had a big Mac..n fries.. started to eat my sandwich, and found a long hair in my sandwich. I took it inside and showed the woman.. I said , what about hair nets ?? She said we are only required to wear hats.. I looked at them all.,, and counted one 1⃣ hat .. ridiculous!! I got another burger.. I cooked in the u.s. army , and that crap wouldn't be tolerated..

Emma was the manager on duty 6/22/24 between 4-4:30. Second time this week I bought food at the Mauston Wisconsin location and it was the 2nd time the order was wrong.
I called to ask if they were having recent audio problems and Emma said “no one has ever complained about that.” Every time I make a Oder the empire struggle to hear me and then give me the wrong order. Emma got snippy and hung up on me. She then wouldn’t answer her phone. I continued to call the line since I was hung up on till I drove back to the “restraunt” in the rain to get her name which I obviously did. What a joke. She should not be managing anything. “No one” in customer service handles customers with such little respect. If you fellow customers want to spend your hard earned cash on what you want don’t do it at Mauston McDonald’s. It’s a waste of money and time.

Had to keep repeating code to get discount. At least 5 times. We'd give 1 code and phone screen would say, We got it! Then discount would not pop up and we'd get another number to try. Lucky #5 miraculously worked. Would have ordered more but became frustrated over code/discount issues.

A year ago I gave them 4 stars but I am editing that. Lately the staff just doesn't care. I ordered a chicken sandwich deluxe with no mayo and extra pickle. The person taking the order didn't put no mayo. I also ordered a Big mac with no pickle. I asked the person at the 1st window to make sure the chicken sandwich had no mayo. He was very polite and corrected it. However when I arrived at the second window my food was already there. I knew they probably didn't get it corrected. So I just pulled around and parked. Sure enough mayo on the chicken. I took it back in and they where already making the right one. (I worked in fast food so ok no worries) I look amd my big mac has the no pickles ticket on it amd drive away. Once we stop somewhere so I can eat my big mac I open it up to find 5 pickles on my big mac. Plus the remade chicken sandwich looked like an angry toddler threw it together. As stated before I have worled in fast food before and I have many years of customer service so I let most things slide. However it happens almost every time I go there. People say fast food workers aren't worth making a living wage and it is situations like this that make me almost agree. However my stance is still offer the money to the good workers amd keep the ones who don't care at minimum wage. Customer service is hard and being good at it can make a difference in a person's day, however being bad at it can kill a business. So to the petite blond who got me the replacement sandwich you are doing great and so is the dark haired guy with a black arm sleeve who took my payment and corrected my order. However you have some employees that need to pay attention and at least act like they care.

Food was hot and tasty. This McDonald's was so short of staff it was ridiculous. We stopped in the morning on our way to do an errand. And stood there for 20 minutes and no one took our order so we left without eating. On the way home we stopped around 6:30 pm. At this time there was a young man who took our order, was very pleasant, and we got our order quickly. Need to commend this young man he was working really hard under bad circumstances yet he was smiling , efficient and going above and beyond. If we return to this McDonalds it would be because of the service we received from this young man. Perhaps you could go a little above and beyond for him.

All of the staff needs to go back to ServeSafe training. They were excessively touching their noses, faces and hair and then food. They also didnt have their hair pulled back. One even wiped her nose then handled food. It was truly disgusting. The chicken nuggets were also way overcooked and gross. Hand sanitizers were empty, lids were empty, staff didnt give out cups, and staff was rude to an elderly man. Soooo awful. Should be ashamed.

I will not go back. Ordered a Dr. Pepper and got a Coke. Fish sandwich was not anywhere near being a sandwich. All just thrown in together. Hamburger so cold the cheese wasn't melted even a little bit. And in case you don't realze it people if you mix your hot fries and your cold fries you just get all around nasty tasting fries.

Went there on a Friday after picking up my grandchildren. They only had three people on staff. Even so, the food was fresh and very good. The store was clean and when the drive-through app wasn't working, they kept it together well. I would definitely go there again. Excellent staff! I would recommend.
