Worst McDonald's I have ever been to. There is no consistency at this McDonald's and you play "russian roulette" with whether or not your order will be correct, fresh or even edible for that matter. For example: the quarter pounders are supposed to be made fresh to order, however the one I just got had obviously been cooked waaaay ahead of time and not at the time I placed my order. The beef patty was all dried out and barely warm. I used curbside pickup, but I highly doubt they would have tried to pass off a poorly made sandwich to me had I gone inside to order and dine in. I shouldn't have dine in the restaurant to guarantee my order is prepared fresh and made correctly. If could give this McDonald's no stars I would, but Google requires you to at least rate it a star, which it doesn't even deserve, and that's saying alot.

Went through the drive thru and the lady taking my order was super impatient. She kept asking if I was ready to order and interrupting me when I tried to order by asking if that was all and giving me my total. I asked for 2 sausage egg mcgriddles and stressed that several times, she said yes I got just the mcgriddles. I ended up getting a mcgriddle with nothing on it and a mcgriddle with a slice of cheese.

I did not catch her name, but she is the young woman with the short curly brown hair. Very rude, doesn't listen.

We pre-ordered breakfast through the app. Got to the drive-up window at 10:28a and were told they were no longer serving breakfast. (Apparently, ordering ahead of time didn't matter.)They literally turned us away, without refunding our money. For that, we were told we'd have to call headquarters. (Um, why?!) Called headquarters and they told us we'd need to call the Tomahawk store because they should have refunded the money when it happened. Fast forward a month and we're STILL trying to get our money back. Neither taking responsibility or doing the right thing. We will never eat at McDonald's again. It's not about the $18. It's about the principle. They literally stole money from us. INSANE!

It is a very clean restaurant. The crew is friendly and thorough. The food is always hot and exactly how I order it. The McDonald's in Merrill is the best place to go and I would drive from wausau to Merrill just to eat at this restaurant because compared to the 3 in wausau it is a very good place to eat...unlike the other places in wausau which are not as clean and the food sucks and the employees are rude and force you to finish your meal in less than 30 minutes and then yell at you to leave if you are still seated after 30 minutes even if the restaurant is empty...I don't like being treated like a hobo which is how they make you feel at the McDonald's near the marathon county courthouse...but as for the Merrill restaurant it's top notch all the way...

Terrible customer service. I asked the highschool worker where I can find a bathroom in town since I'm not from here and this was late at night. He immediately went off at me about how he can't let me in the gas station while it's closed because I might steal something, which isn't what I was asking for. I kept re-phrasing my question and he kept raising his voice at me, "people HAVE stolen before", "you're NOT getting special treatment" until he finally told me that there's a Kwik Trip which is all I was looking for. I never asked to go into the closed gas station. I don't know why he got so aggressive right away, it was shocking.

So I just moved here to tomahawk from the Baltimore, Washington area where it's actually crazy busy at McDonald's and restaurants. And I have to say in my whole entire life of living I have never seen such laziness and employees that refuse to help customers and refuse to clean and atleast make fresh food. This is my 3rd time at this McDonald's and I've been the only customer in the building each time. And they ignore me the first 10mins even after saying hello. And the food is extremely old,cold. Drive through for breakfast. Order was, verbatim, "Number 1, large coffee, black." I thought it was odd the price was only $1.60, but thought it might have been a discount because of reward points. Na. It's because it was rung up as no food, just coffee, sweetened.

Literally every aspect of the order was botched except that they caught that coffee was in there somewhere.

I'd have fixed it on site, but I had 40 minutes to be in Phillips and didn't have time. 1 additional star because, while I generally hate sweetened coffee, it wasn't awful.

Tomahawk Wisconsin McDonald's is always slow. It seems like all they can find to work is very old (and slow) people. I got their chicken biscuit. Chicken was pretty tasteless but biscuit was not bad.

This McDonald's has a competency rating that is negative. The managers, shift leaders,and the kids that all work here don't seem to care about themselves, let alone care about customer service. Gave me cold food and refused to remake because I took a bite (my fault for thinking it would be fresh) then Short changed me and basically called me a liar when I contacted them about it. Order came to 19 and some change paid with a 50 and was given 19 back so not only did I get cold inedible food, I was also shorted 11 dollars and the only thing we actually got out of it was two large cokes, which were not the worth the "30" we spent... Disgusting place!! I received my order and it was cold so I brought it back to see about having it replaced. I was told no because we had already started eating it. I said we weren't expecting it to be cold and I return he offered us one free meal. I did not want my fiance to go hungry so I agreed to that and again upon arriving home, the free meal was cold as well... And not to mention they shorted me 10 dollars and when I tried to say something to the manager he said I could consider it payment for the free nuggets... Do not go here if you value your money unless you are looking for a gross inedible meal and bad customer service!

8-13-23 walk in to a huge crowd of people. Nobody at counter. Everyone had to use the machine to order. Food was great and I used the app to get a great deal. However, I left my keys and phone at my table on the chair. I had called three times and was told they were too busy to check and they had just thrown out the garbage and I was about ready to dig through the garbage before I went in to check and it was still sitting there. I was a little upset that they couldn't just look around the corner and save a lot of worry and stress but at least I found them. Ordered Filet-o-fish meal and a quarter pounder . Quarter pounder was fine , fries were great , but my wife's fish was COLD ! We were already headed down an extremely busy road when my wife bit into her sandwich, or I would have turned around and confronted the staff ; but decided not too so I shared my Quarter Pounder with her and drove on and threw her fish sandwich away at our next gas stop down the road . Horrible service. We walked in and the girl behind the register walked away. The drive up was steady. After 5 min we ordered from the kiosk hoping that would be faster. Another couple came in as we finished on the kiosk. We said you are better off using the kiosk as no one acknowledged we were inside. After asking driveup person questions about our orders, she had someone come to the front counter. It took us 20 min before we left with our food. Do not be in a hurry!!
