The best part of this location is the kids' playground. It can get a little dirty at times and they don't stock the wipes container in there, but it's free entertaining for the kids. It's a pretty busy location, but food still is prepared pretty quickly and staff is generally nice.

This McDonald's has been here for years! It was one of the first places to eat out in Verona. It's recently been renovated to make it more accommodating for dining in or drive through service. I've had great experiences at this location since 2006. Staff has been wonderful over the years. I like stopping in for easy fast food when I come to visit Verona. It's spacious, clean, and has a nice play area for kids.

Just visited McDonalds and had the worst experience of my life!!! I ordered 6 meals for 6 kids and knew right away I did not receive all my drinks. I let the drive through worker know and she rudely said "I gave you everything, now go!" I calmly stated I ordered 6 meals, this is only 4 drinks. She said JUST GO! I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING. She proceeds to demand and try to rush me WHAT ARE YOU MISSING, IF YOU ARE MISSING SOMETHING WHAT IS IT???! I said, I just ordered for 6 people as I was trying to look over the faded receipt and not remembering every single drink I had ordered, she then tells me I'm a Karen. "You're just being a Karen!" I asked for a manager, and she brings him over and tells him I'm being rude. I was never once rude, I'm the customer just asking for the items I'm missing. He hands me the two drinks I was missing that were sitting there and apologizes. I have NEVER in my life has to ask for a manager. Do not visit this McDonalds if you want to be cussed out for THEM not getting your order right! Terrible.

Pleasantly surprised by my lunchtime drive thru experience. Worker on the intercom was patient and explained a menu very well. Wait time was less than 4 minutes despite being very busy. Cashier was friendly as was the server at the window. My request for extra mayo was honored. The bun was toasted and warm as was the crispy chicken patty. Only downside was the bland flavor. Maybe try the spicy one next time

The Verona store is garbage. The employees don’t care whether you get your food hot, cold or in between. Waited in the drive through with ONE other vehicle for 7 minutes for cold stale fries and a double 1/4 pounder with cheese that was slapped together like they ran out of time whilst they stand and chat with each other giggling. Grow up and do your job. Don’t like it? Get different job. Your stores work ethic on this night is disgusting and the food if you can call it that made its way directly into the trash. This place should be closed down. As a new member of the community I've tried this mcdonalds 3 times and everytime has been a horrible experience. I know it's all kids or young adults working but take some pride my god. I ordered big mac meal today and the burger was sooo sloppy I had to eat with a fork. Last time I was there ordered 2 breakfast burrito meal opened them up and bottoms were all let go with fixings all over the place couldn't eat.. time before that ordered 20 peice nugget for my my kids with ranch got 16 nuggets cold and none of the requested sauces I ordered. Ordered two twenty piece chicken nugget meals and one of the fries were oversalted. Nuggets were mixed with fresh and old ones. After 20 minutes of listening to foil language (not in English) I finally went to ask about our order. I inspected the order, and it was not correct.

Kiosk was easy to use & fast at this locale in Verona. I'd never used these at McDonald's so it was a new experience, & I think much faster than the counter service option.
Got my medium french fries and Strawberry-Banana smoothie brought out to my table in under 3 minutes, & it was a bit busy.
The fries with ketchup were fine, warm & not greasy, just perfect texture & brown on outside.
Strawberry-Banana smoothie was cold & very fresh tasting, lots of fruit flavor but not too sweet.
Combined with french fries to really satisfy my need for something to cool me off, after very warm day volunteering for Dane County Parks Department collecting seeds in the prairies.

I don't know what happened when they remodeled but it seems to have ruined their efficiency with take out orders inside. Used to be quick but we've been in twice since then and both times we've been the only ones waiting for food. One of our orders will come out fine but the other will wait an additional 10+minutes for food so whoever got their stuff first has their food get cold.

I'd chalk it up to coincidence but one of the people picking up delivery said it's usually like this. I haven't tried drive through so idk if it's like that too, but it's harder when you have 2 people ordering separately(we like using the rewards app). Just gonna go somewhere else.
