First McDonald's that I received good service in a long time. Cashier was helpful. I was greeted when they brought my food to my table. The lobby was clean. All of the tables were clean.
My past McDonald's experiences were poor. This was different. With friendly, talking employees, this was a much better experience. I like dining at a clean restaurant.

Well, my granddaughter is collecting the Happy Meal toys , so grandma has to do her part ! This week I stopped in Viroqua and the young man at the counter, Baeric, was so very kind and helpful ! Very kindly checked what toys they had and I would say showed incredible patience helping me.

Every morning I'm greeted by the rudest employee through the drive thru. "What do you want? " or "Is that it?" Just a nasty tone and she's usually yelling at other workers when I get to the window. On top of all that today I'm handed a pop that looks like watery tea. I called to let them know it's just brown water and the person answering said " ya,we'll were busy! My car and one other were only coustomers.... I said that's it? Not even an apology? She responded by yelling at me. I hung up. never going there again!

The last time I was in Viroqua's McDonald's I saw a collection of some of the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. The employees just didn't care to do anything. A couple were just ignoring their work. Another one has this knowing look on his face, like he knew he could help out in a different area but wouldn't. I just don't get it. They were not very busy. They just didn't want to be bothered -- or so it seemed to me.

Well I'm mike. I reach around 6000 views so I think I can give a good heads up. If your traveling I'd say open the bags before u leave. Yet again my order was messed up. I am a big eater so my order runs over 26 dollars just me. I go in on my way home and stop and order 3 sandwiches extra browns I even talked to the manager bout the sandwiches. He said they would be right. Nope not done correctly. Can't even eat it. You might say call but I'm still waiting on coupons for the issue from a tear ago and another from 6 months ago. Each of them times the bill was over 60 each time so I advise you to either look threw everything or just avoid this one if ur looking for a mean drive an extra half mile. Sry for the rant

Stopped in for a quick bite. We ordered from the kiosk and then sat down. The gal who brought our order was really nice. We forgot to order water cups, so I went up front, and a different gal gave me the cups, and a 3rd gal offered to help me carry the cups to our table. Very friendly staff.
The food was great. The only issue was someone was very heavy-handed on the sauce for our sons sandwiches he ordered. (Bacon egg and cheese bagel)
Otherwise, we really liked this location.
Bathrooms were clean, which huge kudos, because that's not normal at many locations we've been to.

I'm not a huge McDonald's fan overall, but the ones in Richland Center, WI and Viroqua, WI really are a cut above the rest. The staff are almost always really pleasant, efficient, and consistent. The food is also consistent, hot, and made right (it is fast food, but dare I even say it tastes fresh?) Most of my time prior to last year was spent in larger cities like Madison, Milwaukee, or Rockford and everywhere in between- and this type of consistency in both service and quality rarely existed in fast food- hence why these 2 McDonald's are deserving of 5 stars.

Can I give absolutely negative 5 stars?! Everytime I go there they 1. Forget at least ONE if not more items. 2.burger is so sloppy I can’t eat it. It’s dripping and all the insides are slipping out constantly. McDonald’s prices went up but quality went WAY DOWN AT VIROQUA. Go somewhere else. I’ve gave them the last year to correct things. Today 9/24/23 at 6.00pm i was ordering food with my family and a customer came up to the front desk and was very, very angry that his order got mixed up. He was so angry, he seemed almost aggressive. I don't know what the lady's name is, but she was working the 2 window in drive thru at about 6:30 am February 14th. Pretty sure she's a manager. She is rude EVERYTIME we come there. Practically throws the food at us. Slams the window shut. She apparently asked us to pull up to the next window. But she said it was she walked away so we didn't hear her. She came to give us our food, and rudely said" the next time I ask you to pull up to the next window, do it" then slammed the window shut. Something needs to be done about her. If she doesn't like her job, she should get a new one. No need to be that rude to a customer.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at McDonald's in a long time. It took longer than expected to order. The person handing out food seemed to be very confused about which order belonged to whom. After about 5 minutes, we got our food. We were missing fries. Went back inside to get them. Was told ( after I paid) there were only 2 apple pies left, would I like a cookie. I said could I get a cinnamon roll.
The answer was yes.

I eat at McDonald's at least four to five times a week. Mainly because it's one of the few options. And generally the food is consistently good. However, my experience at the viral qua McDonald's was shocking. I went into the dining room where there was no one but myself, ordered my food oh, got it 10 minutes later, got in my car and drove down the road to find it was completely the wrong order. I then turned all the way around went back to Viroqua to the McDonald's and told him it was the wrong order. They seemed to know that they gave me the wrong order and no apology. They remade the order again, assured me that it was correct, got down the highway and again all wrong. Avoid this overwhelmed staff in Viroqua. 10 people in the kitchen and they Can't manage just a drive thru let alone the one and only guy Inside the restaurant.
