Newly remodeled. Brand new play area.

We ordered in app. Didn’t take too long. Needed a packet that no available by the self service area. Staff member looked at me and away. After realizing I wasn’t going anywhere she walked over and stared at me. Asked for a packet that was unavailable. She left and handed me said packet. No verbal communication. Was not impressed with the negative body language and zero communication.

We got everything to go. Promptly unpacked food which was as cold as the employee that put the bag on the counter.

Please do not come here if you dont want your time wasted. Staff would even glance at you as you stand up front waiting for your order, instead you will wait until they feel like it. Once you order, staff with little knowledge of English will ask what you want, ask you to repeat yourself, and end up getting it wrong anyways. I ordered a dine in for a large mccrispy meal, I got a medium despite specifying large. The staff then gave me a number and made me wait, after 10 minutes I go to the front, wait once again for a staff member to assist me, and have them not understand when I ask them where my mccrispy is, after 5 minutes they "find" it, and its in a Togo bag that just sat in an out of view place. Once I get my mccrispy, I notice there are zero condiments of any sort, which isn't acceptable especially after enduring sub sub substandard service from inept employees who will not give a care about whether or not you get 'service', or how long you wait to get it.

This McDonald's used to be great, staffing nowadays though brought in employees that genuinely dont care the tiniest bit about their work ethic.

Came in at 2:30 with two of my kids for a much deserved play date, and discovered that the play place is absolutely filthy. Old French fries were all over the floors, along with stale nuggets and empty/half filled cups. The order was correct, but I had asked for mayo in a cup from the guns they use in the back on the food, and the manager came out and said “Ok so what’s the problem?” As if I really inconvenienced her when I didn’t have a problem at all. Then she came out with a packet of mayo in a cup. That was beyond insulting. I also had an issue with the night manager, he’s extremely rude and doesn’t care about customer needs and prefers to have people wait in line rather than talk to us. By far the worst McDonalds I’ve ever experienced. Won’t be taking my kids back here ever again.

The next server comes to the window and hands out 45 cents. Then the manager comes out and says she in training.
Hold the phone the order came to $15.16 the change is 84 cents. They keeping your cash and I bet pocketing for themselves at the end of the shift!

This place looks run down inside and not inviting. I ordered drive through and got 2 mcdoubles and the new crispy chicken strips meal. Order to window was fast but then they made me pull into a stall. Others had the same thing happen ahead of me. Then after 6ish minutes they brought out my food... except it wasn't my food. I had a different order. I then had to go inside and no one was in the front to take orders. Granted it was 8:45pm but still. I had to yell really loudly "excuse me" to get their attention. Then I said you gave me the wrong food. A manager person asked me what my order was. I told him. He asked if I had a chocolate chip frappe. I said no. I tried to tell him my order again and he turned around and ignored me while helping the other worker sort out orders. Then he asked me what my order was again. I told him a second time. Then he finally got my food and I asked are you sure this is all here and correct? He said yes and it was. But this was a very inconvenient occurrence. And it felt like no one was listening to me at all.

Went in around 8 am on a Sunday and this place was FILTHY. Manager said that she knew and that they currently didn’t have a maintenance crew… REALLY? Not hard to wipe down a counter. Asked for a drink tray and one of the employees pointed to one and said to grab it. The milk I ordered was expired and I got a dirty look when I asked for a different one. I’m finally done with this McDonald’s. Their quality control absolutely sucks. Ordered 2 plain hamburgers, fries and a couple other things and drove home. Fries were so overdone they were inedible, and of course, one of the hamburgers had everything on it. Terrible QC.

Closing time says 11pm. Only customer in drive thru at 10:45pm. Prompt came on stating someone will be with me shortly. After sitting there for 5 mins I drove up to the window to find a EE outside starting their vehicle. I should have read the reviews before we stopped. I did a mobile curbside order and picked my spot number (2). Waited 20 min with no food, and the drive through had cleared. I went in to check what was going on. Stood at the register for a good 5 minutes before anyone came up to see me. Asked the guy about our order, the guy looked confused about a curbside order, but went to check and my food was sitting there and had been for awhile based on the temp. He said something about there being no confirmation that we were there, so they didn't run it out, but thinking back on it, I don't understand why they would put together the order if there was no confirmation and then let it sit there for 20 min. He then mentioned that he'd freshen my fries for me, which I appreciated, but then he ultimately didn't and just handed me the bag of cold food which I found odd--like why say anything if you weren't going to bother? We were starving at that point, so we took it and left. Conveniently, there was no receipt on the bag for me to review through McDonald's. I'm surprised their app doesn't have an option (or maybe I missed it). It's not the first time we've had questionable service there, and we probably won't be stopping again.

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I tried to make an order through the drive-thru. I asked for a large soda. The menu board said they were $1.29. When it comes up it's $1.79. I tried to explain it at both windows. No one spoken English. I wrote a nice email to the company. I got a blow off email. And then another email from the McDonald's team. I brought my husband with dementia to McD's here in Waunakee. We were out for a drive. He got hungry and is a McD's hamburger lover from way back. Service was fast, restaurant was clean and food was fresh. What I really appreciated was the little area right off the order spot was confortable temp-wise. Too many times his dining experience is made more difficult with the cold air vents blowing at full blast. It sounds trivial but it's a huge thing to us. It's hard enough to make it work for a day out of the nursing home without having to have it marred by that. I'd drive across town again for this alone. Thank you for a bright spot in our day when it's becoming harder to find them!

This could be the worst McDonald's there is. The drive thru is generally a mile long, orders take forever, and things are behind. I don't know if that's due to a lack of staff or what it is. Regardless, orders tend to be incorrect or missing items, the staff couldn't seem less interested in talking to you, and oddly, the drive thru's soda mixes are all messed up; too much syrup, not enough soda water. Their "serve yourself" soda machine is just fine, though.

On top of all this, the prices are getting more and more insane regularly. Just go make your own food. This place isn't worth it. I'm not sure what the deal is here, but save yourself the headache.

It's up in the air but lot of the time I order on GrubHub the fries are stail and cold and the burgers are just terribly thrown together and never prepared probably

Waunakee,s McDonald's is fast and the food does not change on the flavors, although the french fries are about the best for a fast food restaurant this evening they were loaded with like 2 table spoons of salt for just a small order.

Don’t bother asking me what kinda sauce I want if you’re gonna forget it, and get mad at me when I have to go in and ask for it. It’s not a very good look for a manager to be heard saying “don’t mess with the people that make your food” when walking into the restaurant. I work in the restaurant industry and the attitude from every single one of the regular workers there is unacceptable and rude 100% of the time. This location Needs some serious damage control

Staff are rude and there coffee machine is always down. They need to hire people that like talking to customers. Very unwelcoming
