This establishment is well located on a busier street, with easy access on and off. They have free parking and a large parking area, which is handicapped accessible.
They also have a public restroom.
We used to drive through which the gentleman was very courteous. we pulled up to the window where He made small talk with us. he was very pleasant.
It cost me over $21 for 2 breakfast meals. The size of the breakfast sandwiches are smaller, along with the price was not worth the product.

I live down the road so I go here frequently. 9 out of 10 times they mess something up on my order. This establishment owes me somewhere between $20 or $30 of bacon and fries over the past few years. I wish Wendy's was on this side of town.

Went to go get food, had to wait for the entire line in drive thru before I even was able to pay for my order, let alone get the food. Watched as my fries expired and the manager tried to piece together my large fry with 2 separate batches of expired fries, being drastically short on my fries as well. Immediately said something and the young crewman said, "Yeah I'd complain too if I got this."
You guys were talking about being #1 when I was in there but failing to provide simple customer service. Your drive thru times don't mean a thing when you not only give expired and underweight fries, but completely forget half of someone else's order before me. Kinda defeats the purpose.

I ordered food to be delivered and some of my items were not there. I called and let them know that I was missing items. She said I could come pick them up. I told her that the reason I ordered food was because I did not want to go out. She told me to contact DoorDash and I told her it is not the dasher's responsibility to check and make sure all my food is there it is theirs. She then told me if I wanted the items (the ones I paid for and didn't get because of them) I would have to come pick them up. I asked her If they were going to compensate me for the inconvenience and she said that there was nothing that they could do. They wouldn't even give me a free fry, what a joke. They don't even deserve 1 star but I couldn't post the review having nothing marked.

This is one of the McDonald's restaurants that has pancakes all day long. They're the regular pancakes at McDonald's is always had the not the new fluffy ones. Has the sunroom with the large screen TV with the weather on. Is that the downtown Wausau main i-39 overpass about three blocks to the east. But it is fairly easy on and off the interstate 39 North. After you're almost all the way past all the exits going north.

Waiting for the cashier to finish with customer in front of me. 2 minutes later when done taking his order, the cashier leaves, THEN doesn't come back to take my order.
After 3 min. i looked around in back, and he was working in food prep.
Like....he didn't see me in line behind the customer he rang up?
So i left.
Stop in after work to discuss this with daytime manager, (18 or 19 y/o.
Bottomline, he didn't care, kept saying he wasn't there.
Lol...these are the people who want $20 an hour.
then they wonder why business is down Nationally
I'd call McDonalds directly, but i'm sure i'd be wasting even more time than i have so far.

They took so long to take our order in the drive thru that our app code apparently expired, but I still had to wait 5 more minutes before i could refresh the app to get a new code. I explained this to the drive thru person but they refused to honor the apprently expired code or discount the order,even though it expired literally while I was waiting at the speaker box for them to take my order. Ridiculous, truly.

I had the quarter pounder with cheese and bacon. Not very good. The fries were good. They were out of Dr. Pepper, so I got Sprite. Tasted like mineral water, not good. So for about $11 I had good fries. Go to Culver's, much better food for less money!

Order on mobile app and waiting for food to be prepared. An hour goes by and still nothing. Called and I was told that I needed to go there first to show my order code for them to make it. Not the first time that I've ordered from here and took a long time to be prepared. It's not fast food anymore! This is the first time that I've been told this so why do I have an app for ordering so that I don't have to wait at the restaurant for my food.

Absolutely the worst filet o fish I've ever had at McDonald's! The bun was rock hard on the bottom. Most of the cheese was stuck to the box and ice cold so I could not peel it off of box. The filet itself was barely warm and appeared old. We went through drive thru after driving 12 hours that day looking forward to eating dinner. We had to wait for this crap!!!

i came here to get 2 cheeseburgers & a $5 meal deal for my SO, before work. i did not get the 2 cheeseburgers & barely had time to go back. so i called & asked if i could come back a bit later after work for a refund and they told me no. i was surprised as they never said this on other occasions when i’d get refunds literally the next day! i was almost late for work but i wanted my money, i went there & said “i want a refund for (shows receipt)” the manager then says “i can’t deal with this right now” and then sends a crew member, who i wouldn’t have minded, but it was a minor. he really made a kid try & resolve this situation. it doesn’t sound too “manager-like” to me. and the situation still was not resolved. i felt bad for the kid as he expressed how bad he felt about the situation. bad management. been there & won’t be back! ✌️

Went through the drive thru and got two sausage burritos, sausage biscuit with egg and hash brown. Total came to $17.68 which is crazy for the amount of food. The sausage on the biscuit was BLACK… it was like they added a hockey puck. Literally threw away 17 bucks on nothing. Horrible McDonald’s to go to. I've worked for McDonalds for a few years. This place's quality was very terrible. They had the fry station tore down way too early. They had fry baskets down when I got there, they were done cooking by the time my order was placed. I watched as my fries were not only overcooked as per McDonald standard but not put under the heat lamp, my fries sat there, and I watched as my fries expired, not under the heat lamp, but actually out of the frier just sitting where baskets go. I then watched the GM of the place take those fries, throw them on the serving tray and proceed to not salt the fries at all and then proceeded to short me on the quantity. These are supposed to be weighed portions.
It took well over 10 minutes to get cold, not salted fries and a double quarter pounder.
I saw one employee give too much fries in a meal and your shift manager shorting another person's meal.
I could care less about waiting, I would rather get delicious, hot and fresh food that's cooked to order, rather than paying a ridiculous amount of money to have my money not go into quality.
McDonalds is not that hard. I have run an entire store with 2 people. I expect better out of someone who is management.
I also expect better out of the regional manager. The McDonald's in this area need some change. I've seen a decline in customer service, management and especially cleanliness.
Now I walked in a few times and there is a shorter black gentleman that has great customer service skills and was knowledgeable, accurate and quick to help when I walked in.
I get you guys are a busy drive thru store, but your in store customers still matter. Maybe invest in a door alarm that way you know when people are walking in when you don't have a designated counter person. Or do what a manager should have been doing, delegating tasks and running the point position. There were 2 managers present this night and I still got messed up food.
People also don't like dealing with the computers. I'd rather talk to an employee to take my order. Or have someone greet me as I'm walking in about to spend a fortune on a burger and some fries that I could have made better myself, literally.

Being a customer service representative and someone who's worked at McDonald's and then the fast food industry to walk inv and place my order and be told by someone younger than me who is not old enough to even be a father that I need to keep my children in check and make sure they. Don't make a mess because it's annoying to clean it up is outrageous. I come to your establishment to eat and feed my children. Not to be told how to take care of them. I am completely appalled that the management in this facility will allow their employees to talk to their customers in such manner. I will not be returning to this facility ever again

I don’t write reviews but this McDonalds is worthy of getting one from me. I can wholeheartedly say it is the - worst - McDonald’s there is. And not worst in the hyperbolic sense of the word, but actually the worst. I have ordered delivery a number of times and in nearly every instance they have messed it up. So unless there is one person working there, the problem would appear to be organizational. These people will somehow mess up the simplest of orders. A gaggle of monkeys hopped up on crank would - literally - be more likely to complete your order correctly. Dropping all the ingredients on the floor would result in a better chance of you getting what the slip of paper reads. You could order a meal and it is perfectly within the realm of possibility that you would get an empty bag as an end product handed to you. I try to be forgiving. I order a burger with no X and I get one with X, I call it a day and move on. I understand things happen. It’s busy and things can be forgotten. But here at this McDonalds you order a sandwich and you get two pieces of bread wrapped up for $6+. Someone at the store read Sausage and Egg McGriddle and wrapped up a sad little microcosm of everything that is wrong with the world and gave me two pieces of bread. Who does this? I would love to know. I would love to meet this person and have a conversation (or rather watch their attempts at such) about their reasoning for this. Someone looked at “SEC McGriddle” on the receipt then to two pieces of bread and said “yep!” I don’t work there and I know what the abbreviation means. I didn’t even have to open the wrapper to know something was completely wrong with it. Let’s be fair. Perhaps I just have psychic abilities that I can’t possibly expect the employees to have. Perhaps I can just see fourth dimensionally through the wrapper which the employees cannot. Those are all valid possibilities. All things that I would be more likely to hear as excuses from management then the actuality of the situation which is, perhaps, the employees are completely incompetent to such a degree that I honestly think the location needs to be shut down. How corporate allows this to carry on is unknown. I don’t know how these problems can keep on happening with no apparent attempt at resolution. They do not get better, they get worse. It’s bewildering. And that is today’s word for me: bewilderment. I am just utterly astonished by what comes out of this location in such regularity that you would have to conclude that it is policy.
As a side note, McDonalds decided they were going to start charging for things like ranch. Because how could they possibly be expected to foot the bill for their $0.10 cups of ranch for their customers. Instead they now find it fun to charge me $1.50 for the stuff and not even put it in the bag. Now I’m sure the manager could tell me that it’s actually $0.12 for the ranch and the extra $500 at the end of the year is really making the difference. It’s kind of ingenious. The kind of thing I would imagine a super villain would devise. At the least this McDonald’s is run by crooks who couldn’t care less about the service or if you will ever return. It really is all irrelevant. As long as after the refund there is profit and a good stock of ranch packets sitting in the back, all is well in Hamburgler land.
Anyhow, don’t eat here. It is an actual mathematical near certainty that you will not get what you ordered and will leave in a state of malaise.

McDonald's has come a long way... straight down. I ordered a Filet-O-Fish Meal with a small shake (with an Upcharge of $2.50), plus 3 McChicken & Medium Fries; just about $20. Are you kidding? While I do still enjoy the taste of McDonald's food (LOVE the French Fries!), I do think the value received in relation to the cost is nothing to brag about. As for the physical building, it was, again, nothing to brag about. The seating areas were not very inviting. They looked like they needed a good cleaning. When my order was ready, I went home only to discover that my Filet-O-Fish Meal was sans just one itty-bitty thing... The Filet-O-Fish sandwich!! Back to Micky D's I go, feeling pretty perturbed. I talked to the manager, who was the one ray of sunshine in what was otherwise a near fiasco. He pleasantly had the entire order replaced and was then immediately off to put out another order-related fire. Just not a good experience. I've had a few other "iffy" visits to different McDonald's. I do understand that help is hard to find, but I do still expect quality food and competent employees. This is, after all, part of the food service industry.

We first were told to wait when we pulled up to the drive through to order then a second car pulled up in the outside lane and got their order taken first. The drive thru took 20 mins. When we got to the pay window the young lady was completely rude. Only told us the total and took are money- no hello or thank you and wasn’t given a receipt or asked if we wanted one. She just shut the window and sat down to played on her phone more. Pick up window was nicer and did tell us thank you and have a good day, but seriously ughh the other people created a terrible experience.

Why have windows when you block them? It makes no sense. Many people like me would like to see outside view but we can not because they are blocked by giant advertisements posters. ?????

I had an awesome guy at first that was very kind. Then a girl came up to the window and clarified my order with me. When she handed me my water, I told her I already had it- her respond was "you could've told me that before I got it" then proceeded to slam the window closed. I wasnt aware it was my job to tell her how to do hers. Theyre all over the place and need a tad more training on good customer service and team support/communication.

When ordering lady had gotten our order wrong twice and when we asked we were greeted with a huge attitude and told “you can wait a moment” when trying to have the order corrected. Jul 20th 2023 3:30pm DTO person… very rude needs to be coached on how to resolve mistakes and not get sassy.

I originally had rated this location 5 stars but i decided to edit it (its now like 9 months later) for one reason but it happens every single time. I usually get done working between 9/10pm and then sometimes stop to grab something quick and easy, a lot of times I just want to order a mcflurry. Lately every single time i go and order a mcflurry, im told that machine is down for the night, and its always for 1 of 3 or 4 reasons they say. I understand certain reasons and certain things like if i were to go 10 minutes befor3 close, no problem. But literally EVERY time I go now, they cant do it. Ive come to realize now that its most likely just the fact they want to shut it down and clean it up so they can close up quicker come time for that. But honestly come on, thats ridiculous unless its within like 20ish mins before closing time.

EDIT 2: why did I come back. Unbelievably slow every single time I’m here. 20+ minutes for a basic meal when there are 5 other people in the building.
EDIT: Changed to a one star after repeated terrible experiences here.
Last one pushed it over. Ordered a McChicken, no mayo and a 6 piece nugget. What comes out, a McChicken with mayo (even though the modification tag says no mayo) and a 5 piece nugget.
I can get past the may, but the person behind me ended up coming in with a 5 piece nugget (when they ordered a 6). Seems like the grill staff decided to split an old 10 piece (yes, it was old) rather than actually cook new food.
At this point, I expect a trip to take 20 minutes and have something wrong with it. I'd go elsewhere, but it seems the local ones are all owned by the same person and they all have problems to varying degrees.

I can't give this location a one star because the workers are generally nice and helpful. However, it insane how long they take to make every order and still get things wrong. Every. Single. Time.
* Out of coffee at 2 in the afternoon. Have to wait for a fresh pot.
* Out of 6 chicken nuggets at 3pm. 15 minute wait.
* Salad came out with frozen corn and beans. After a ten minute wait, need to wait another 10 minutes.
Eventually everything comes out hot and tasty, but it always take several attempts to get it right.
Seems like management/ownership is to blame rather than the individual employees.

Manager was making laps around the dining area while most tables sat dirty. My recent visit this memorial day weekend was the dirtiest I've seen the inside. I normally use the drive-thru here, and I'll stick with that for this location in the future.

Ordered a caramel frappe. Just to have to wait at the window several minutes. Then told twice they are still waiting on the frappe and told to pull up to the yellow line. Watched two cars behind me get their full orders. Big bags of food. Several drinks. One even had a shake.
if I would’ve waited for the frappe I would’ve been really late to work. Therefore I had to leave without it.
Ruined my night.
