I was considering going to this establishment,however I cannot find any drink menu on the website. I click on menu's and not a single image appears that shows me the drink or the beverage options. So therefore I will not come to this place,which is a shame because I've heard how great the food is. A beverage list is just as important as the food menu.

Great fish fry (perch, bluegill, or cod), and one of the best places for a burger in Wisconsin...better than anything I've had in southern Wisconsin; second only to Solly's in Glendale, WI). Outdoor seating is in a beautiful setting. And it's in the Kettle Moraine Forest area, very close to Long Lake and Maithe Lake, both of which have boating, beaches, and camping.

I've been here a few times and the food is ok service is lacking due to always short staffed but this time was the last time
The time before went specifically for prime rib we were told there was no prime rib so we all had a steak sandwich but as paying the bill we were told yes they had prime rib we were very disappointed as that was the only reason for going there
This time took the cake and we will never return we had a table full and took over 15 minutes in-between 2 plates coming out at a time how uncomfortable for everyone at the table and the worse is we all ordered the special of the day and could easily be made together (I've done the job for a very long time so im very aware) and to see them serve other tables around us in-between getting ours
I highly recommend not going here
Then to add an undeserved tip of $30 (I know its not the waitresses fault but just put the cherry on the top with that) I uncomfortably had to complain and she did make it better but I shouldn't of had to say a word (I still left the original amount of food bill) very disappointing I haven't gone here for 2 yrs before this and this is the last for sure!
The prices are very high we paid $20 a plate for 3 tacos

If I could rate this place negative stars I would! Had a family get together 7 people. All of us ordered someone off the Monday night special which was Mexican food. First 3 people got their food like 20min after placing. 15 more minutes go by 2 more got food. ANOTHER 10 minutes go by 1 got food then ANOTHER 15 AFTER THAT I got my food. The first three people got done eating before me and one other person got our food. Then they had the audacity to add a $30 tip themselves, when we questioned it they said it’s policy. We mentioned the service we got was absolutely atrocious and they needed to take that off. The server got her manager. The manger was slightly understanding and took some money off. AS WE WERE LEAVING THE COOKS GAVE US THE MIDDLE FINGER!!! Do not go here if you want to have a good time.

It took a long while to get our drinks and food, but I will say the food was worth the wait! Amazing burgers, salmon, Rueben, and the best lobster bisque!! Highly recommend! We've gone there twice now. Overall it a really good value but a very uneven experience. The first time turned out to be their Mexican theme night I had a burger Rose had a burrito. My burger was delicious and Rose said the burrito was great both were large and satisfying they don't have a regular french fry option only waffle fries or a fry with some sort of seasoning I'm not a fan of waffle fries so I had the seasoned fries they were sort of okay. Overall we enjoyed the food and knew we would come back to try the fish fry.
The service on our stop was very good it wasn't too busy so a bartender, waitress and helper was plenty the food was fast hot and good the bar service was excellent drinks were a nice full pour and no problems getting refills. There was an additional interesting aspect to the Mexican theme the music being played was Mexican and while I didn't understand a word of the songs it was a nice change the rhythm and tempo were bright and easy to listen to.

Our next visit was a Friday to try the fish fry. The Friday visit was very much different than our other visit I'll get to that problem later. Starting with the food review I had the codfather a 4 piece cod dinner while Rose had the shrimp my fish was excellent I would rate it right up there with the best I've had the breading was lightly seasoned fried to a golden brown with a nice little crunch but not over done the fish was firm and flaky like cod should be nice and moist without a hint of being greasy in fact from start to finish from piping hot to the last cooler pieces it never got greasy as a lot of fried cod tends to do as it cools. Giving the fish fry a 5 stars.
Rose said her shrimp was wonderful a lighty seasoned batter fried golden brown on nice extra large shrimp with a great cocktail sauce with a nice sharpness without overwhelming the shrimp. Rose didn't enjoy the seasoned fries anymore than I did so she substituted veggies for fries and was very pleased with her meal.
Now for the part of the review that went from 5 stars to 2. Our Friday visits exelent food experience was marred by the service we arrived sat at the bar waited a good 10 minutes before being greeted we were told it was busy (that much was obvious) and so was the fact they were woefully understaffed she left menus and she said she would be with us soon. After another near 10 minute wait she took our drink order and within a few minutes returned with our drinks and took our food order. We were a little surprised by the food arriving sooner than expected considering the lack of service up to that point. As stated the food was great but we were never talked to or served anything after the initial order I went and located salt, pepper and condiments on my own as we seemed to be completely forgotten. When it came to to leave it took almost 10 minutes to catch the bartender to pay.
Now granted it was busy the bartender, the waitress and the helper were going non stop. That's no excuse that is the choice of the establishment to have that level of staffing everyone knows Friday in Wisconsin is their busy night and you don't staff like you do on a slow Monday. Hell we never got a second drink and it wasn't for lack of trying I tried to catch the lone bartender multiple times with no luck. They could have easily used 3 bartenders but had only1 the waitress finally started pulling her own drinks.
We loved the food but I'm not sure we'll be back. The service on our Friday night visit was unacceptable

My wife and I were out and visited this place for the first and probably last time, this last Saturday (06/28/2025). We both left actually really irritated and it's unfortunate because it seemed like a really cool place. Food was just fine. It was the bartender that seemed to have an attitude problem. My wife and I both immediately noticed it and we both went out of our way to make sure she heard us be very respectful with the usual "please and thank you and really appreciate it" kind of talk to her. Maybe she was having a bad day so we tried to be very nice and she would not respond, it seemed like we were bothering her and it wasn't even busy. Although, we noticed that when a regular came in (because she knew their names and drinks) she was very nice and personable. We left asking what we did wrong and what the heck was her problem. Had to make it a point to not let it ruin our day. Unfortunate......

Beware of take out charges! I did a call in order for pick up. My order consisted of one fish fry and 2 extra pieces of the cod fish. When I picked up my order I question all the extra chargers on my bill. The extra pieces of fish were 4.95 each, and then there was the extra charges for the containers.It would of been cheaper to order a second fish fry! I do understand most restaurants are now charging for containers. I do think it’s getting a little RIDICULOUS to use extra containers when both pieces of fish could have fit in ONE container!!!! Just another way to rip off the consumer.

Well worth the 🚗 drive from West Bend for their Chile Rellenos. They were outstanding!! Just the right spiciness from the stuffed Poblano pepper 🌶 and delicious sauce. The beans and rice couldn't be beat either. All of the food there is worth the drive!!

We come here quite often. Sadly several times we've had less than stellar service. NOT because it was ever overly busy. The younger gal that bartends always seems to have a bit of an attitude. Somedays quite a bit.
I was told she is the owners daughter. The owner is lovely and should perhaps have a talk with her.She makes you feel like you're a bother and is rather snarky. Sad because the food is always good. We waited 15 minutes while she stood down on the other end of the bar with another coworker. 15 minutes... We finally decided we didn't need an after dinner drink and left. Two other tables and 3 people at the bar. No excuse. I was embarrassed because we brought friends there and they all commented about the poor service and ''rude' bartender. I told them it happens all the time. So sadly we choose to go elsewhere on most occasions now. This isn't a one time incident. I can think of many occasions with this same exact behavior. Walked in, told we couldn’t sit outside, sat at a table inside. Two men came in sat at the bar. Table of 4 came in and sat down at a table. Two more came in and sat at bar. They served the bar people right away. Told us it would be a minute. That’s fine. We asked if we could at least get menus. The one bartender responded snotty. Then we were ignored while they took the table of 4 that came in after us. We sat there for over 10 minutes with not even a drink order. We walked out.
The ladies behind the bar were working, but you need to take tables as they come. And lose the attitude. We heard such good things about this place. It was not packed. Nicely busy for a Friday lunch. We would have not had a problem waiting, but acknowledge us and be nice. We won’t be giving them another chance.

Stopped at 4:00 PM on a Saturday. Extremely loud. The food was very good, service was slow, and the patrons were profane and obnoxious, especially two "ladies" on the deck. We moved inside and had trouble carrying on a conversation because it was so loud. I would not bring a child into this place. That said, we have had good take out and the burgers are excellent. We have never been treated with such disrespect! I have a medical condition, and physically need the use of a cane. Due to my condition, I have to sit at a regular height table. The three of us sat down at a regular table. We ordered(alcohol) drinks, and water with ice. Drinks arrived, but no ice in the water, and short one glass. Ordered our fish lunch, and now served. However again we had to get the attention again from the girl bartender whom has been waiting on us, that we would appreciate some utensils and napkins to possibly enjoy our dinner. The. girl bar tender that took our orders, made us feel throughout our experience,as though she didn’t have time for us and was in a hurry. Mind you it was earlier, the front bar tables were all empty, and maybe 5 people sitting at the door end of the bar ,with a man bartender conversing the entire time we were there. Finishing our fish fry, we ordered another alcohol beverage. we were chatting as we were waiting for one of our group to finish their drink. All of a sudden the man bartender came over to our table and said he would like us to leave the table, because the table was for the handicap. We were shocked, needless to say. We looked at each other with dismay!! One of our group said to him, I would like to at least finish my drink. Mind you, as it does get quite busy, due to the fact their food is very good, but was definitely not busy yet. We did decide to just leave. Grabbing my cane for assistance, I again must say, what a horrible experience!!

Food was alright. We had hamburgers and fries. I didn't think it was $16 good for just a burger. Beers took a long time to get to the table with only 4 patrons there. We did get a table right away. It was the last for 6 available. We stopped by for lunch and drinks with friends. There was one waitress and one bartender for the whole place. It was packed. Many people are at the bar. We all had a drink (except my husband because they forgot his) while we waited. Eventually a friend went to ask for his beer which they comped because they forgot it. Burgers were FANTASTIC! We will be back again. It's been a year since we were there last. It was good then and still good now. Last time we had fish. That was good too. I will be back again. Stopped in on our way home from a day of racing at Road America. We were lucky to get a seat! Place was packed. Food was really good, my daughter loved their take on jalapeno poppers, she had a chicken sandwich that she loved and I had their soup of the day. My wife brought me here after her parents brought her. First and foremost, I am EXTREMELY picky about my ribs. I have tried many ribs, and there are VERY few that I ever wanted to have again. That being said, the ribs here are amazing! Don't bother with a knife! The bones pull right out, and come out CLEAN! I would say you could cut it with a spoon, but even that might be overkill. The meat is super tender, and the sauce is perfect! Definitely my new favorite place to order ribs! On a side note, they have been really busy the last two times we went, but the waitresses (and the owner) were very attentive despite the rush, and the drinks were well made. Pleasant surprise! Stopped here for a beer, appetizer and sandwiches after some hiking at Mauthe Lake. Nice outdoor seating. Best nachos ever. We all enjoyed are food and will be back!

We came to visit and eat on a Sunday. There was a little wait for a table inside but it was well worth the wait. The food was excellent. We ordered Fish Fry and the Pork Star and both were impressed how good it was.

We stopped in for a Friday Fish Fry, place was busy which is always a good sign. Great food and I love a good IPA. They only had 2 options available would like more local selections. We will be back.

Friendly service, outside seating too. I got the chicken sandwich with guacamole, pico and bacon. It was great! Only negative was not much for vegetarian options. No impossible burger, beyond burger, grilled cheese etc.

My first visit and it was so so good. My Old Fashioned was very tasty and I also got the baked fish. Flakey and great seasoning. Staff friendly and service quick. Sat on the outside patio and enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely going again.

This was on our route home. We were still 45 minutes from home, however, my husband said he'd drive back here just for their poppers - they were THAT good! They were unique, delicious, and filling!
Their sandwiches were quite filling as well, plus the meat filled the buns fully! We're not from the area, but we'll definitely be back!
