I visited this place two times in a row. Noght and the lunch on the following day: The food was amazing both times. However, the servers for night had no idea about the ingredients. Also he could be more professional when it comes to serving disciplines. However on the next day, the server was amazing. She was very professional, feiendly and polite. A few nights later, I tried the restaurants again and the server was again the first server that I was unhappy with initially. This time while I was waiting for my dinner to be served, amazingly he brought me the food to go. Once i told him it was for here, then he changed it and brought ot for me in an unprofessional manner. It seems he has no idea what he is doing. I just noticed that he brought wrong foods for the other tables too. I hope the management find a solution for this trend.

The falafel was ok, not the best I've ever had, and you get so few of them for the price you pay. The platter contains only six! The side, 3 for 6$! At 2$ a pop, I'd hope they'd make we weep tears of joy. They were let down by a rather bland tahini sauce to dip them.

The beef kebab was excellent, well seasoned and cooked. The platter was filling enough, but I thought it was small considering the 19$ price point.

Bathrooms were clean, and painted a deep purple colour. Very cozy.

Customer service was great. Tried this for lunch during my break, ordered a chicken shawarma wrap lunch meal & baklava. Left so I could eat, but they forgot my baklava so I had to go back. Baklava was amazing, I could eat a million. Took a few bites only to realize they got my order wrong & gave me a gyro wrap, & I personally really dislike gyro meat. This is the best Turkish restaurants in the Milwaukee area and perhaps one of the best in the state. The flavors are authentic, atmosphere is welcoming and light, but most importantly the kebabs are made professionally: charred outside and juicy inside. I highly recommend the beef or chicken kebabs if you like a perfectly grilled meat. For vegetarian friends, the falafel is highly recommended. I am not vegetarian but that is my go to meal when wanna eat healthy. And once in a while indulge yourself in a fresh baked baklava full of flavor. This is a must try if you are in MKE area.

Response to Legal Threat Regarding My Honest Review -Amir, 6PM orderJuly 15th.

I’m a flexible and reasonable person — and in most cases, a simple, respectful reply and apology would have been enough to resolve this. But instead, I received a defensive and dishonest response filled with false accusations and legal threats. Let me be clear: I’m well aware of my rights as a customer and will not be intimidated by this kind of behavior.

I had no intention of leaving a second 1-star review. But the owner’s aggressive attitude left me no choice. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, they chose to attack my character. So here are the facts, backed with evidence:

Lie #1: “There is no $60 meal.”
I dined alone. My total came to $54 after tip, and I shared a screenshot of the receipt. The only reason it wasn’t higher was because Uber refunded me for the missing drink. Without that refund, it would have been close to $60. So yes, for one person, the cost was accurate.

Lie #2: “They called me multiple times and I never called them.”
That’s completely false. I called them multiple times, and no one answered. Eventually, the call was rejected and sent to voicemail. I’ve shared a screenshot of my call log proving this(Outgoing). They never initiated any contact — it was me who tried to reach out and they never called me!

Lie #3: “I spoke Spanish.”
I do not speak Spanish. I am not Latino. English is my second language and I speak it fluently. Their claim shows they confused me with another customer — which shows the chaos with other customers at the exact same time.

Lie #4: “My friends left reviews.”
I was in Milwaukee alone, and no friends or colleagues ordered from this place. I left my review based solely on my own personal experience. The accusation that multiple people left reviews on my behalf is completely false.

Lie #5: “We cannot remove reviews.”
As a business owner myself, I know that’s simply not true. Platforms like Google, Yelp, and others allow businesses to report or dispute reviews they believe are inaccurate or false. Claiming they have no way to address reviews is misleading.

My review reflected an honest, disappointing experience. Rather than listening and trying to resolve the issue, the business chose to attack, deflect, and threaten legal action. That speaks volumes about their customer service approach.

I stand by everything I wrote — and I’ve provided clear evidence to support it. Trying to silence customers with threats only reinforces the kind of experience I had.

That said, to de-escalate the situation, I will remove my second review in a week. My original review still stands and accurately reflects my experience.

First time here. We were downtown for the theatre and this is just a block from the St. Kate Hotel. Super convenient if you have other plans in the area.

The restaurant is relatively new. We made reservations for 6:00pm. When we got there we realized that you order and pay at the counter. Then the food gets brought to you. They did have several table that were reserved, and we got our choice, so we picked one closer to the back of the space.

The full menu is online, or displayed behind the counter. There was a short line, but it went quickly. We ordered the special Lamb Chops and the Pita plate. With this setup you might get the impression that it will go quickly, but it doesn't (which is not a bad thing). In the meantime they bring you drinks to the table.

As we were waiting for our foods, we noticed all the other orders going out to other tables. They all looked and smelled amazing. When ours came we were equally impressed. The Lamb Chops were as ordered, medium rare. The flavors were good, without being overpowering. The Greek Fries (skin on fries with fetat and a dipping sauce) were so yummy, it was hard to stop eating them all in one sitting. The Pita Plate was warm, flavorful, with large portions. We enjoyed everything, and there was plenty to take home for another day.

We did have a little room left for some baklava. They offer two varieties, pistachio and walnut. Would have preferred pistachio but they were out. The walnut was good (not great).

After the food came, that was the last we saw of our server. Not sure if they simply don't check back, or they were too busy. We q quick "how's your food, everything okay?", would have been appreciated. Besides, did a really need a refill on the iced tea?

My wife and my daughter had the Beef Kabob Plate and the Chicken Shawarma and both gave five stars. I had the Vegan Kofte Pita. Food was barely warm and I didn't the Vegan Kofe. Didn't finish my dish. Would have given 5 stars if my meal was better. Fries had some seasoning that I think detracted from the experience. My wife ordered a Coke. Only available in a can. Do not make a reservation here for before a show! This place takes reservations to get people in the door but does not turn away anyone without one or hold tables for those with a reservation. This place is counter service! We waited over 30 minutes before being seated and were never told we had to order at the counter even with a “reservation.” Therefore we waited a total of 75 minutes before actually eating and had to wolf it down to get to our show on time. The employee tried to tell me the wait was because of a broken iPad and lost reservations, but his iPad was working and I could clearly see my name when I checked in. I even had to explain to other families waiting to order at the counter when I witnessed the employee failing to let them know. Ridiculous experience.

My friend and I got an order through Uber eats, we got the gyro pita plate, and the chicken shawarma plate, and a handful of sides. Every single pita is store bought, cut in quarters, and reheated on a grill, and all of ours were burnt. We also only got half our sides, and the hummas is bland.
No olives, not onions, or feta on the gyro, you have to pay three dollars more for a "side" feta.
We also got two dip containers full of just straight Mayo for no reason.
Oakland gyros is much better food and quality.

I recently ordered the beef kebab plate and the adana kebab plate from this restaurant. As someone originally from the Middle East, I’d give the food a 3 out of 5. Both kebabs were overly salty, and the meat had a liver-like smell. The basmati rice seemed underwashed, resulting in an unpleasant odor. We ordered few trays for a dinner with friends, and it was wonderful-from the quality and quantity, to the packaging and ease. The steak kabob, chick shawarma, and ground meat kabob all very flavorful and fresh, as well as the salads. Your house salad with walnuts and olives was amazing! Thanks for making it easy and enjoyable! We will be back.

Food was excellent, quick and friendly service, great atmosphere inside. You get BIG portions for the plate meals (I’m not complaining). I tried the vegan and chicken plate and had quite a bit left over to take home. Chicken was stellar. Definitely reasonably priced for how much food you get!

unfortunately gave me horrible food poisoning, which sucks because i would have really liked it otherwise. i know for sure it was from here as i only ate food here when i got sick.

really liked the lemonade at least. and really good prices. hopefully won't get sick if i ever eat from here again, in which case i will amend my rating/consider it a fluke.

Tried this place out on Saturday night before a show at the nearby Pabst Theater. There were more than enough tables open for diners, but mostly it was all carry out orders happening here. We ordered our food and waited for them to bring it out to us. They do not have ice for the beverages and do not give water either. Bathroom is in the hallway of a shared space with other places in the complex and the stall is single person so waited for the bathroom a while. Food was decent. I had grape leaves appetizer which I really liked. My husband ate the gyro plate, which is very large portion. I had the Iskander special. It was a good amount of food also, but my dish was cold, so they had to remake it. Once it was hot, I really liked the food. Place needs to invest in an ice machine, fountain sodas, and a liquor license. There is no alcohol here either. We liked the food, but if the business does not change some dynamic for bringing in diners, it will just be mostly a carry out type place. Again, there are lots of tables, but the place doesn't have much atmosphere to keep people dining inside.

As a Turk, I come here every time I need authentic home cooked food. The food is wonderful. The beef kebab is great, and so is the lentil soup and ayran. Thank you for bringing Turkish cuisine to Milwaukee!

Forgot sauce for greek fries
Expects tip for pick up orders but wont look you in the eye when handing you the food...Can do way better customer service wise

Restaurant was clean. Staff friendly. We were surprised with some tea! The Turkish coffee was fantastic and came in the cutest cup. The food was very fresh and excellent. I knew I’d be coming back after I took my first bite! Thank you ❤️❤️

The food is spectacular and I say this as a picky middleastern man .
It is very close from the authentic kabab you get to taste in Turkey ( Iskander) is so good.

I ordered the beef kebap plate with falafels. The falafels were decent but the tahini sauce that came with wasnt that flavorful.
