Ok first off it’s a cozy little diner with a calm atmosphere.
Second the waitress Robin is great! I’ve only been here a couple times but she makes me feel like a regular.
Lastly the corned beef hash is amazing OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!! It’s fresh house made NOT out of a can and man oh man is the portion size GENEROUS!
10/10 will come again and again! Highly recommend this place especially if you’re in the area!

I ordered two crunchwraps, a beefy five layer and two of the new mango drinks. The food took about 10 minutes for them to make and they forgot the drink so when I reminded them a third time I got two cups of water with bits of mango in it. Would have been better off going to the local homeless shelter. They also had about 10 clearly inexperienced people in the kitchen and several other customers also had to wait for several minutes and some of them even longer than me.

I love this kind of diner. It was across the street from our hotel, which offered breakfast but only until 9:00 a.m. We are on vacation and slept in! I'm sure we got a better breakfast here anyway. Generous portions, friendly staff, low prices. Highly recommended!

Good breakfast spot that opens early at 6am. Veggie omelette and bacon were cooked perfectly. Loved the heavy amount and variety of vegetables in the omelette. It was not pretty nor expertly folded, but tasted great with some salt and pepper. The bacon was cooked perfectly when I told them not to burn it. Came out medium, perfect. I did get Polish sausage and that was dry and chewy, and I would not recommend that. They should source a different brand. No wifi, a bummer. I would have stayed a bit longer to work on my laptop if they had wifi. The waitress, Robyn, was amazing! Ten stars for her! She rocked multiple tables, carryout orders, and was awesome! Solid four stars all day. They accommodated my low carb eating, but it was not cheap at nearly $30 for breakfast eating that way.

It's one of my favorite places to go, usually for breakfast. Food is amazing! Portions are big! Staff is quick, super friendly and the food comes out fast compared to most, even when they are packed. From waffles to omelets, breakfast burritos to skillets, it's all delicious. It's one of the only places I have to really decide what I want that day, it's all that good. Try a side order of gyro meat, or order one to take home because it reheats perfectly.

I hadn't been to Michael's in a very long time, at least 4 years. So far my boyfriend and I have been there twice since we moved in the area and it is great! The food is fresh and delicious and the service is also nice. I wish they were open a little longer but I understand things changed after the pandemic. Michael's is still a great place to enjoy a nice hot meal with great service. They take pride in their food and it is a very welcoming environment.

Called in an hour plus ahead. Food was getting done as I walked in. Apparently, the cook staff missed a baked potato. They threw in free pumpkin pie for the slight inconvenience. The food was amazing. Don't let this scare you off. Food and staff wonderful. I WILL go again. They seem really organized. The number of people there and watching tells me this was an uncommon occurrence. So please stop in and try. I would like to read more reviews.

I had not been here in years. I had totally forgotten about them. We decided to go there for the steak and eggs. The price was mind-blowing when we glanced at their online menu and did not know what to expect as far as the taste. When we arrived, we were able to get seated immediately. The waitress came over promptly with a winning attitude! The coffee ☕️ was piping hot and flowing throughout our entire meal. Oh and the meal was dynamic! We decided on the steak and eggs breakfast. We really should have shared. The bowl of grits are served in a cereal size bowl and they were creamy and 😋 delicious! Our eggs over medium for me, and over easy for my husband came out to perfection 👌 we requested medium steak, and that is what we received. It was such a nice and friendly atmosphere. They knew many of their customers by name. I am so glad we remembered this place!

I enjoyed a short walk from Potawatomi casino less than a mile to this discrete corner for breakfast. Even from outside I could already smell pancakes and coffee as I passed the historic Pabst family mansion. When I entered inside I found myself in a warm classic family diner/cafe atmosphere with patrons laughing and carrying on conversations. The hosted and waitress both seated me and promptly handled my order of a both waffle and biscuits and gravy. Everything came out plated within 10 min. Great experience and thank you.-B

I used to frequent this establishment when I lived in the neighborhood but this was the first time I've been back since I moved last year and I was just as satisfied with the outstanding service (multiple refills of coffee) and an extremely quick delivery of the food within minutes of ordering. I used to live in this neighborhood in this was my favorite breakfast place to go every Saturday. I decided to order some today, and it has gone downhill. I ordered a meat lovers skillet with no sausage and I added cheddar cheese, I got a poorly cooked skillet, with sliced American kraft singles melted on top, and sausage in it. Also I miss your old hash browns, I don’t know what this par boiled potato is doing in my dish but overall very upset with my experience today and my money getting wasted.

I love going to Michael's for breakfast early in the morning. The African American waitress always remembers how I want my eggs potaotes and specific coffee creamers, etc. All the waitresses are awesome and give good conversation. I love coming here. They know exactly where I like to sit when I dine in alone. It's a welcoming crew. Oh and how I love to see Jose on grill when I arrive cause I know my food is going to cooked just right. Love this place always.

I ordered a cheese omelet with American and Swiss. My wife order the chicken and waffles. At pick up the waitress asked if the other cheese was added. Passed it back and they added the cheese. Wife gets home open my box and ask is this the way you do omelets? Instead of making a other they just SLAPPED the Swiss on top and it wasn't even melted all the way. The wife waffle tasted like it was made with spoiled milk. Won't be ordering from Michael's anymore.

Within the year I have ordered from Michaels six times and all six times they really haven't figured out how to put that BLT together. Bread goes on both sides of a completed BLT. For instance to complete a sandwich you need back and front piece of bread, the incompleted BLT should have back and front on each CUT, otherwise you can't hold that together. SLOPPY. OTHERWISE GOOD SANDWICH. FIX THAT.
