I'm Michael's nephew and if you like camping fishing or even just a night at the bar 🍻 Michael's is your place there are sometimes kids but not past 10:00 were pet friendly and the bartenders are nice and will help with anything you might need not to mention the fishing is great if you want to enjoy a day on the water we rent out canoes and pontoons so if you're in the area i recommend you stop by even if you have dog they can come in to we do sell dog treats and theres water for dogs if they need it but if you stop by dont be shy to ask questions and I have been here 12 years which is all my life but it's such a nice place all year round.

Went here last night for the first time. We live right down the street. Great drinks good bartender!!! Everyone was super friendly. Pizza was not bad! Egg rolls are good! Hope they have poppers when we come back. Husband accidentally lost over $100 hope somebody has fun with it! We will definitely be back!

Best campsite in the entire area. Everything is up kept, everyone is friendly and it has easy lake access. Nighttime activities as well as tavern on site. Prices are worth every penny. I come every year.

The camp ground has no quiet time which is great for our family who like to talk and laugh around the fire until the wee hours in the morning. There's swimming, fishing, hiking, a play ground for the kids and a bar on premise. There's also an outdoor shower with all night access to indoor bathrooms along with a portable toilet outside around the grounds

This is the best campground EVER! Please keep in mind this review is coming from a 20-something without kids. The staff here say there are no quiet hours and they mean it. The campground is behind a bar that rents out boats. They have real bathrooms and a shower (outdoor & VERY cold... but you're camping right?). They have a nice sand volleyball court and have fun activities (we've witnessed cardboard boat racing twice now - it's a riot!). The bartenders and staff go above & beyond to make your stay perfect. Out on the lake there's a big sandbar that everyone docks at to hang out. Bring a football/frisbee, a floaty & load the cooler. Last year there was a stand selling brats & sausages that were good & cheap.
My group of friends from college have been here twice and we're going again later this month. We've had a really hard time finding good camping where we can also have fun. State parks don't allow drinking and yell at you for peeing in the woods (eye-roll). At this resort the owners encourage "site-hopping" where you take a beer with you and meander to the next site to visit with them. You'll leave with more friends than you came with.
Don't get me wrong - there are plenty of kids & families. I think they try to move them to the back side of the campground to keep them away from the rowdier sites.
Flashlight (or your phone) is key here. The grounds are not well lit (not a bad thing in my book). Getting to and from the bathroom at night is tricky in the dark, so I bring a small key-chain flashlight with me.
