My last visit was tremendous food cooked perfectly. I had the lamb and it blew my mind…with that being said , I brought my fiancée and was talking up the lamb and it was tough and way overcooked! Even appetizers were not the same as previous times. We usually go on Fridays and this was a Saturday. So I’m thinking maybe a different chef worked??? It was not worth the $200 I spend in there every time we go. I tip the waitress $50 just because she was great. So for $250 it was not worth it and now I’m nervous about going back and feeling embarrassed again!

First, I want to say the only reason I give this a four-star review was because we were actually there for an after funeral dinner and not not for an actual menu dinner.

That being said, the staff was phenomenal, the fried chicken, dinner rolls and cooked carrots were fantastic. Some of the meatballs were a little dry but overall a great experience and will plan on visiting here again.

One of the things I didn't expect was the Whiskey selection. they had all my favorites, such as, Buffalo Trace, Redbreast 12 and 15. They also had a few I haven't gotten to try yet, such as Weller's, Blanton's, and Eagle Rare.

We literally make trips from Iowa to visit here! Food is always excellent, staff are friendly and fun and they make a great old fashioned! Have the Chef's seafood special, prime rib or Wendy Can't Decide and you can't go wrong. Come early to sit at the bar before you eat - you won't regret a visit here and will leave full!

We have been coming here a long time. Last night the service so bad it ruined our dining experience We arrived at 4pm. party of
(2.) We put our drink and meal order in right away. 30 minutes later we had to flag down the hostess to get our salads she was rude, not in her job description. Wendy never would make a curt comment. If that wasn't enough, we had been there 55 minutes before I hailed our waitress (M) asking where our food was. I watched as several people who came in after us, were served and left before we got our food. Twice I had to ask for our food. This is an expensive place to eat we did not come in for a Friday fish fry. Never did we get an explanation or an apology.

We go Friday for the perch. It’s the best in the area! The service is wonderful. Well trained staff. The food is absolutely fantastic. I appreciate being able to get vegetables instead of fries or potato. Comes with baked beans and coleslaw. Totally love this wonderful restaurant!!

My neighborhood loves to gather and have dinner at area supper clubs.
Michele's Restaurant couldn't have been a better experience, and they couldn't have been more gracious! We were a group of eighteen people. and we were given a room of our own. Our waitresses Michele and Katelyn did an excellent job. Our drinks were outstanding! The food was delicious! Everyone raved about their meals!!

This was my first visit to Michele's, but I know it will NOT be my last. What an outstanding dinner in every aspect. Everyone in my party commented on how delicious their meal was. And yes, they're hawking that their prime rib is the best, they are indeed correct on this matter. My prime rib was one of the finest I've ever had! And the service by the staff was flawless. Sam our server was friendly, polite and on top of every aspect of our entire dining experience. Everyone we dealt with was a pure pleasure to deal with. In fact we had a knocked over water glass issue, our fault, not theirs, which a slew of employees descended onto our table to make things right. Very professional. Can't wait to go back to this restaurant as soon as I can. Thank you again, and trust me, do not wait, rush to Michele's for a dinner.

Mixed feelings about this place. Initially the people were nice and welcoming. Overall the food was good with the exception of the Oysters. We ordered a dozen raw oysters which came out promptly, not on ice. We slurped one down and thought, That tasted weird, a bit slimy. I thought I would try another it was HORRIBLE bad. They took them back and removed from the bill.

I enjoyed my prime rib and the rest of the meal. It was good and the horseradish sauce was amazing. Unfortunately, my girlfriend became ill from the first oyster and we had to leave.

On the way out the owner tried to argue with me that the oysters were fine but they removed them from the menu. She stated they had been previously frozen and therefore ok. After doing some research I learned that frozen oysters must always be cooked, ours were raw.

Typical Central Wisconsin dinner. Was especially turned off by the main mature hostess. 2 in our party had an emergency. In the actual ER right before we came and she was upset we didn’t call to change our reservation. She cleared the other two chairs and plates while we were sitting and asked again. It was a major turn off before we even met our waitress. She was kind. Food was fine. It’s been 20years since I’ve been here and will probably be another 20. First impressions go a long way.

Dined here on a Saturday night with a reservation. Celebrating birthdays for 3 members of our party. Our server, Sam, knew the menu well, answered our questions and provided excellent service. The honey, smoked salmon appetizer was delicious. Calamari was perfectly done, crisp, golden and tender. Both the Ceasar and garden salads were fresh and tasty. The ahi tuna steak was fresh and seared to perfection. Absolutely perfect! The Seafood Basciani, shrimp, scallops and crab was amazing!

Came here on a fairly busy Saturday night (reservation) and were very happy with our dinner. Menu has a great selection, not just steak & potatoes like some clubs. Good atmosphere, doesn't feel like a bar like some clubs. And of course the food was great. We will be coming back for sure.

This place was off its game during our visit, and we ended up paying a LOT of money for mediocre food served by a stressed-out server who was struggling to keep up with orders.

All of the entrees were disappointing in some way - and the fish fry was so greasy it was inedible.

The laughably overpriced cocktails were watery, and my Bombay Sapphire martini was clearly made with some disgusting rail gin. (Don't be afraid to ask for prices on their cocktails and beer. Michele's doesn't list the prices on the drinks menu - an attempt at pretentiousness which mainly serves as a way to hide the ridiculous prices. You'll see what I mean when you get the check.)

Overall, not a pleasant experience - and the sticker shock was the icing on a very expensive cake.

Stevens Point is home to one of the best supper clubs in Wisconsin! We were visiting from the Milwaukee area and fell in love with Michele's Restaurant, the atmosphere, and their staff. I ordered the fish fry - it was Friday after all. The perch was absolutely perfect. Being from Milwaukee, I have never had baked beans served with a fish fry - must be an Up North thing? Regardless, my meal was great - I'm glad we chose Michele's for an evening meal while visiting on a very short weekend trip. The wine list is extensive, as well as the mixed drinks menu. Generous pour on the wine selections we made. My only disappointment was the plastic used to serve the beans and coleslaw - environmentally not good IMHO. Highly recommend!

First time visitor on February 24th for our wedding anniversary. Was greeted and seated promptly by Keenan working behind the bar. Gave us the full rundown of food specials, his favorite menu items, and the bar specials as well. After about an hour of wonderful conversation, we finally ordered our food. We were greeted by Haley our waitress for the evening. Her enthusiasm and infectious smile certainly won us over right away. It didn't take long, and we were at our seats eating. My wife had the Parmesan Garlic Tenderloin, and I had the Seafood Basciani with shrimp, scallops, crab, romas, mushrooms and Linguini. Both dishes were out of this world, and Haley was always nearby checking on us. This is a must stop if you're in the area, as were going back next Friday for the Fish Fry. Thanks to the team at Michelle's Supper Club, you made our anniversary a very special day, and we'll most certainly be back!!!

Service was good. Mixed vegetables tasted like they were Birds Eye veggies from a frozen bag. No flavor at all. Veggies were cold had to send back to warm them up. The only problem I have experienced here is that tables near the doors to the wait station and kitchen are exposed to noise loud enough to make conversation difficult without having to raise one's voice.

Beyond that, sitting away from the noise, this is one of my favorite places to dine for those occasions where one does not mind spending a little more.

I hired Michelle’s for a wedding buffet dinner. This is going to be a long review… I want to start my review with the shining stars. They are the chef (met at tasting and setup) and the staff that were there during the event, especially the lead server, she was amazing. I’m so sorry I can’t remember their names. They were fantastic at their jobs, very nice and so pleasant to work with. The food was also good and tasted exactly as it had when we sampled.

The reason for the 3 star review is due to the rough communication and experience I had only with Thad. At the very beginning we discussed what my budget was and he had asked what menu items I had in mind and I replied with my answers. He came up with a menu, it sounded great and we agreed on it all through email. We did a tasting at the restaurant with the chef, we liked it and put a deposit down to hold our agreement. There was no mention of the actual total cost all the way until the DAY BEFORE the event. We got the email of the total invoice that was $600 OVER the budget amount we provided and we were confused. It turns out, Thad’s definition of “budget” only accounts for the price of the food. They obviously have other things like a service charge, rentals, delivery charge, or anything else additional but they did not inform us that “budget” does not include any of that. We realized that the communication went wrong somewhere and all we wanted was a conversation with Thad to discuss it. He phoned me back and was not receptive at all. He told me that I accepted the menu and to “not go there” because I signed a contract that didn’t list a price. And that he wanted to and could have charged me more but didn’t. He called me “honey” and told me to “take a deep breath” while interrupting me multiple times to go on and on about what he had to say instead. The way he talked to me was disrespectful for no reason. At no point did I say that I wasn’t going to pay or that I was going to fight our “contract”. In the end, Thad did adjust the invoice so it was less over budget. My husband had a chat with him in person when he made the payment. According to him, Thad seemed more receptive to the feedback and understood where we were coming from.

This was the worst interaction I’ve ever had with a business and it added so much stress to my wedding. I realize now that I should not have put so much trust in their process and made sure they communicated more clearly because I had never hired catering before. I wouldn’t recommend Michelle’s and I’ll probably never eat at their restaurant. But at least our wedding day food was good and they have other wonderful people working there that helped make this whole experience a little better than it was.
