FANTASTIC AYCE fish and chicken on Friday nights! Served family style with coleslaw, boasted taters, German potato salad, baked beans, and rye bread. Very reasonably priced, with a nice view of the lake. You can dine indoors of out. There can be a wait, and the seating can be a bit tight, but you won't mind once you take a bite!

Family style fish and chicken fry on Friday nights is the best in the area.

Unfortunately, we tried the Saturday steak night and was very disappointed. Prime rib (king cut) was ordered med-rare and it came out med-well. Filet was ordered medium and it came it well done. Our (excellent) server did acknowledge they looked overdone and she apologized and offered to make it right, but we didn't want to wait or waste the meat so we ate what we had. Both were still tender, so there's that. Hopefully it was just a one-off mistake. We may try again.

Regarding the atmosphere, it was very warm in the dining room. There are windows there, but they say "Do not open". It was upper 60s so opening a couple of the windows slightly would have improved the temperature.

As usual the food was delicious. 4 of us had the All u can eat Fish fry. We were seated in the lake side off the main dining room and it was very cold out there. Many people ate with their coats on which doesn't make for a pleasurable dining experience.

Worst experience I have ever had. We went with friends out to eat 3 of us ordered steaks 2 t-bones and a sirloin. 1 t-bone and the sirloin med-well and 1 t-bone med-raw. We received our baked potatoes and French fries about 20 minutes before our food. Yes you were right when our meal arrived was all cold. But that was not the most disappointing part when the steaks arrived the 2 med-well the were very charred to the point of looking burnt and was extremely dry and crispy. The med raw was more like a med-well. When we mentioned it to our waitress she told us that is how it is when you order well done. Wait none of us ordered well done. Then she went onto tell us anytime you are ordering above med this is what you get. Then she said let me go get the owner. So in the middle of this dining room she can and just unleashed. Well I did not lose my temper and she must have finally realized it. She told me her husband was the cook and she's not backing down. We then went to tell her how our waitress ended up spilling a glass of dew and just kinda acted like it was nothing. And I still don't know why there were no grill marks and she even went and told us we should go somewhere else. We will never be going back.

Every year we go on vacation and usually come on Saturdays for the prime rib and the salad bar and soup bar. This year we came on Friday and unfortunately they did not have the amazing soup and salad bar up and running. But we did have really good ribs and the Friday night special fish and chicken. All you can eat was amazing. There were eight of us and the kids had the chicken fingers and fries. The German potato salad is so good and the beans. We will come again for the fish fry for sure on Friday. Next time we go up. The place was a little warm but then it was hot outside and service was good as could be with them being so busy. Everybody's friendly there and great atmosphere.

If I could do below 1 star I would have this place was the absolute worse. My husband and I came in with our young child and waited over an hour just for a grilled cheese and two other sandwiches. The atmosphere was not good nor was the service as well we are more then happy for the wait if the food was good but in this case it was bland and cold something out of a microwave literally we are very patient people who both work in food industry him and cook and I myself as a server. And through this whole wait the server never checked on us or even a hey sorry it’s taking a bit longer nothing no communication what so ever. If she was a good service provider as I who do it all the time definitely be keeping my guest in check in what’s going on and providing whatever I could especially if they are waiting long with a child. I do feel bad this server had no help there was at least two other employees and nobody helped her run food or drinks or even checked her table to give her a hand. Just complete disappointment. And a waste of money and time . Highly don’t recommend save your money and time

Went there for the all you can eat fish and chicken with 10 people 4 adults 6 kids. Server first told us that they didn't have enough clean silverware and we would have to wait for 3 peoples. I understand there busy no problem. Fish and chicken came out we let the kids have the chicken and we ate the fish. We asked for more and we're willing to wait the amount of time. The server came back and said there not doing all you can eat per the kitchen staff growing frustrated I asked about the fish same answer and she went back as I asked her to. She then came out with 4 pieces of fish. If I tried the chicken the food probably would of been 5 stars. The owner did take 20 off cause I did address it with her, but that 20 bucks and more went right back into another place for the kids. Just disappointed for the no all you can eat and never getting enough silverware for our group. I will be back to try the full experience.

Bartender was johnny on the spot; wait staff not so much. Slow to take our order and even slower to bring our bill. We are not prime rib lovers so we both had boneless ribeye. Neither of our steaks were particularly tender for a ribeye. Salad bar was just ok. High point was the mushroom soup. It was excellent. Also we were seated in the added on porch and it was very warm in the room. I was sitting there and sweating.

My husband and I went for Easter brunch. Yes, they were busy but that isn't what has discouraged us from returning. Cold food was room temperature, hot food was not hot! We assumed there would be many more selections being a holiday. There wasn't anything on the buffet that made either one of us say "oh I would go back for more". My glass of milk was warm, I had to ask for a 2nd cup of coffee and that's all I got. Our waitress would constantly look/stare at me, not checking on us but it felt like she wanted us gone, like yesterday. We won't return!

We went for the first time Friday. It was packed. Our server was great and checked on us. But, the fish & chicken was bad. The oil was obviously well used as the Fish had burnt crust and kinda on the rare side. The Chicken was brined which makes it very salty, breading was hard to find and Fries were way hard and overdone. They have alot of Families so I understand they make alot. But, for me it was too greasy and I needed the Rye bread that we didn't get to soak it up.

absolutely horrible food and service. Worst $75 i’ve spent in my whole life. We walked in and we’re greeted with there’s 5 min till closing of the kitchen. We asked if we should leave and they were fine with us saving. food was burnt, horrible tasting, cold, and absolutely horrible customer service. We got helped 2 times and we had to ask every time. once we left we saw the worker throwing the oil into the grass and smoking. We've been here before for cocktails and snacks while enjoying the lake. Thought we'd try the fish. Slow bartenders ( though, I will say, they were busy, and making a lot of time consuming drinks) Seating was crowded. We were only shown the menu on the wall, which didn't offer a baked fish option. We tried the combo platter, so we could sample a few kinds of fish. It was all just dumped on the plate, very over breaded, and well done. It was tough. The broasted potatoes tasted old. Everything tasted the same, just like grease. Our waitress was very nice, though. Never again. Live and learn, I guess

Great service- Horrible food. Ordered poppers and they were frozen inside. Sent them back, they heated them up and blew out all the cheese. Ordered burgers and fries. All the Fries were cold and soggy and the burgers were burnt!!! 1 person in our group ordered well done, the rest medium... charcoal briquettes came out on the plates. We couldn't even get through 1/4 of the burger. We asked for more mayo for the burgers, (we sat outside the kitchen) and could hear the cook complaining about it. Very disappointed. We left just as hungry as when we walked in. $45 wasted again. Tried this place a few times and have not had any luck. I would suggest to save your money.

I really have loved this place. I give the fish fry and friendliness 6 stars. However, they do not seem to be on board or in compliance with the Covid-19 safety precautions. Seating very close. Plates already set out on tables when seated. Staff not wearing masks.
Mike and Cathy, I would rather wait a bit in line than be seated so close. Your place is a hidden gem. Please step up your safety game.
