I love Mimi's kitchen! My family has been going for a few years now and i've even put my friends and customers at work onto them:)
The food is always very flavorful and fresh, and everyone is always very attentive about the quality and taste of everything !!
All of the employees are always super friendly and happy to help especially and older guy who looks in his 20's.
Overall you can never go wrong with going to Mimi's when trying to debate where to eat lunch or dinner:)
If i had one piece of advice it would be to add some background music in restaurant and advertise on socials if at all possible!!

my first time I came with a friend took me there and I got the Thai Curry the taste is just so so and my friend had pho noodles I tried some, it was better than the curry but the soup was a little sweet, and I got a glass of Thai coffee just so so too. Ok well maybe it’s all about the taste and everyone has their own opinion. So you guys come and give a try not that bad

We were a 3 top table and came in for our noon meal. 2 of us had the Vegetable Pad Thai and 1 of us had the Chicken Pad Sew Ew- both dishes were very, very good. I really liked that the dishes weren't overpowered by just one flavor, but rather it all came together with the option of adding whichever sauce you'd like from the selection right on the table. The chicken, vegetables and noodles were done just right: not overdone, not underdone. It was out to us in a timely fashion, service was wonderful, prices were very fair. Just one star docked for atmosphere. Overall, atmosphere was good, but when I think of a specialty like this, I like to be immersed in it's culture as if I were actually there- not so much just the basic tables, a couple different wall colors and a couple different pictures/decorations here and there. But overall, very, very good place to stop by and we're sure glad we did!

SO FREAKING GOOD!!! Stopped here on a whim for lunch on a road trip and me and my sister were beyond over the moon! I had never had a boba smoothie, so I tried it (vanilla) and it was the absolute best boba I’ve ever had! My sister got regular boba and it was also so amazing!!! I got pad Thai with chicken and by far it was the best I’ve had. The guy working was so friendly and food came out quickly. Definitely recommend, and I will make it my mission to come back again!

The food was absolutely delicious! Will likely get takeout next time though because the dine-in atmosphere kind of felt like an industrial Taco Bell. But I can't say enough good things about the food. All of the ingredients were so fresh and authentic, and the medium level of spice was just perfect in my Pad Thai. The egg rolls were immaculate. The staff were friendly and courteous. I will definitely be returning!

The Pho has a basic beef broth that is good, but the beef cuts were very fatty and uncooked. The uncooked beef was chewy and raw in the center which made it inedible for my liking. Thinner and better beef cuts against the grain would've cook better in the broth. Excessive fat on beef should be trimmed as uncooked fat is not enjoyable. Other than that other food was good.

Came in after living less than a mile away and driving by many times. This is the best bowl of pho i’ve ever had, and i’ve tasted manyyy different places. The broth was so flavorful and noodles were perfectly cooked. Stop in and give them a try. My boyfriends Hmong sausage was delicious also.

Egg rolls were so good! I picked up my order! It was nice but weird at the same time there was a little boy behind the service counter that was sitting on the table and touching everything. He was using the silverware that you give out and putting them in his mouth. Not sanitary! The family next to me was thinking what’s going on.

Spring rolls are excellent. Pho is the best I've had in the area (including Rochester). The only slight negative was the noodles got a little mushy by the end. This is definitely my new go to when I'm in La Crosse.

We had a wonderful time during our first visit to Mimi's Kitchen. The food was both plentiful and delicious, and our server was very friendly. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained. My only suggestion for improvement would be to install sound panels to help reduce the echo during busy times. We look forward to returning soon.

I have loved everything I have gotten here. Usually it's some type of chicken stir-fry. The Chicken Pad Kra Pow has been my absolute favorite so far. I cannot handle spice and this did get screwed up one time, but everyone makes mistakes and deserves grace. The spring rolls are good and so are the cream cheese wontons. Staff is always very friendly and prompt. At the times there was a longer wait, it was well worth it. Pricing is very fair too. I highly recommend this local restaurant.

We had pad thai, red curry, egg rolls and stuffed wings. Medium spice definitely has some kick to it. Pad thai was delightful, curry was sweet yet bold and flavorful. Stuffed wings didn’t quite live up to expectations, but still good nonetheless. Excellent, attentive service.

Honestly the pho tastes like every other pho place in town. Nothing special. The pad won sen is one of my favorites here. Papaya salad is a hit or miss. Boba is very good and sweet. I enjoy the stuffed chicken wing but I ordered it twice and noticed a weird spoiled taste in the chicken so I tossed the rest.

My experience with Pho is very limited. However, I thought food is good and worth a try.

I had fast service, food came out fast and fresh.

Upon being seated, you have the standard assortments used for Pho: hot oil, fish floss, hoisin sauce, and sriracha.

I purchased cheese wantons and an egg roll. Both were good and are solid starters. Serving sizes are small, but good.

My main courses were sausage and sticky rice and beef & meatball Pho.

Sticky rice was fantastic. Be warned, it's like eating a sleeping pill, and you will get filled fast. The sausage was ok. I think the problem for me was I ordered too much food. I didn't give the proper attention for the sausage. Furthermore, I'd give it another try.

First time eating Pho. I think the broth was ok by itself. Adding in sriracha, hot oil, and all the sides really made the dish standout. If you use the hot oil, ITS NUMMY. You'll be smiling.

Some of my food associates have echoed the Papaya salad is worth a try too.

I firmly believe the food served here is at least a 4. Mind you, I have no prior experience eating Pho. It's a nice having an alternative Asian restaurant for the La Crosse area.

Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The front of the house was spotless. Clean restaurant means clean food.

My service time was at 4:30 on a Friday. I would try Mimi's Kitchen again for the Pho or sticky rice and sausage by themselves.

Best pho in the area. (Speaking as someone from nor cal). Egg rolls were good. The papaya salad was inedible, from our perspective, it was so heavy handed on the fish sauce. The Thai ice tea was undrinkable and they would not refund it. It was heavy cream with a splash of tea. Service was slow. Decor is modest, but nice. Restaurant was cold in temperature.

Came here for a little lunch date. The pho broth was very flavourful. The chili oil was spicy, a good kind of spicy. We came here using a fundraising voucher from my husband's coworker, so we got a large pho. Add on were an additional charge. We also got the loas style papaya, with 3 peppers. It was very spicy, but again, all the flavors were there. Service was not good but also not bad, we were 1 of 2 customers there, but we were never checked on, which I didn't mind but there were only us and 2 other customers sitting and eating in there, maybe someone could've checked on us at least once while we were dining there. Otherwise, when we asked for anything, they did offer great service to us. Would definitely go again when I crave for pho though!

The pho soup was so water down it was so bland ,had to put alot of extra seasonings to eat it all..was disappointed, i wasn't sure if its was the end of the day and they just add water to the broth or something. I had to find myself napkins n silverware. Papaya was little soggy and little salty, the food are not consistent to the taste. I been here before but this was my worse time.

My recent experience here has been medicore. Today I ordered for take out the Red Curry with Sticky Rice which was a extra $3 charge. When I got home, it was not sticky rice, it was regular rice. The container was only half full. For the price I paid, it was not worth it. I can make normal rice at home, but sticky rice is more difficult to make which is why I wanted sticky rice. I am not only disappointed in the wrong order but also the small portion. As a customer who frequents Mimi's, I am disheartened about this experience.

Found this Resturant on Google explorer. Sparsely decorated Resturant that is located on a main road. Menu had the typical Thai dishes, but I was surprised they did not have Pho Ga ( Vietnamese Chicken Soup). The spring rolls were large and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. I got chicken pad Thai and it was good. Food was made fresh once ordered. I gave four star only for service because i ordered a container of broth and it ended up spilling in the bag once the top came loose. Overall good Thai food in large venue. Easily accessible and plenty of parking.

The beef fried rice was good & tasty with an ok amount of beef & egg. The in house made spicy red stuff was also very tasty. They include a lime which really complimented the beef fried rice. An added curry seasoning for the rice would be nice. Overall I give the Beef Fried Rice a 9 out of 10.

I was puzzled with the two kinds of wings. 10 pc chicken wing with Laab seasoning & the other was roasted wing being 3 or 5 piece but more expensive. Well the roasted wings are what normally are cut into 2 pieces (flapper & drummy) so basically you're really getting 6 wings with the 3 uncut if that makes sense. See the pics to know what I mean. Also the roasted wings seemed a little larger. (See comparison in pic) the Laab is a dry powdery seasoning. A little limey & spicy. I liked it but sparingly which is why I got it on the side. The roasted wings were flavorful (and a little more juicy) without any additional seasoning & I see why they cost more. It's a more premium wing. The Laab wings get a 8 out of 10 while I give the roasted wings 9 out of 10. I'll have to try the stuffed wings next time. Don't know what that's about. It was my first time trying this restaurant. Since I did order takeout the atmosphere is unknown. The only downside I see are the prices seemed a little steep but you get what you pay for I suppose. Overall I give this restaurant a 9 out 10. They definitely put some pride & love in their food.

The menu is great, so I wanted to like this new restaurant. Unfortunately, the food tasted so bland. There was no hint of fire in any of it, and none of the usual seasonings in the dishes were present.

I ordered a pad woon sen dish to be delivered. I got a super oily dish full of celery and red peppers. I opt for for the veggie option but was not expecting every bite to be celery. Worse of all, the noodles of this dish calls for a certain type of noodle. To my surprise I got big flat noodles. I saw no glass noodles. So disappointed in how oily it was, the celery in every bite and the wrong noodles being used. Makes me wonder if they ran out of the glass noodles or did the cook now know how to make this dish? I think experience may have given me a reason to not order this dish again in the future.

Great.👍Great AC and Guest Service was Excellent!!! The Treats (Candy) at the end are yummy!!! The Red Curry was good but could use more ingredients, the Hmong Sausage was good. The Rice with Egg I forgot whats it called was good!!! And the $16 PHO is so worth it!!! I think if Pictures (Paintings) or Foam sound control was hung up the echo of our voices wouldn't bounce off the walls and back. The Boba Teas are great!

We really enjoyed our meal at MiMi's kitchen. The red curry was perfect and the Pad Thai had just the right amount of sauce and spice. My review is based on consistency. I come here during my lunch breaks. The food is great. My only complaint would be the pork belly wasn't crispy but I know everyone makes theirs different. The pho is really good. The egg rolls are perfect but can use a little more pork.

It's a great texture and the peppers added a good sweetness, it's the perfect option for any Vegetarian. This is a very very new restaurant that just opened and overall it is ok. I would rate it overall 3.5-4 stars. I think the owners need a lot of help such as busting, waiting, register, and etc. I was happy to see the restaurant so busy but I felt bad for 1 person doing everything because they had no help. The service was relatively slow because they are very short in staffs. The eggrolls were good, very moist, and had good balance of meat, veggies, and noodle (5/5). The pad Thai was plain and not much flavor (2/5). The the combination fried rice was LEGIT, it was warm, moist, and good flavor (5/5). The papaya salad wasn't as good as expect (2/5). The appetizer chicken wings were big, crispy, and well cooked (5/5). The laab wings were cooked well and well seasoned, but it didn't taste much like laab (3/5). The pho wasn't as flavorful as expected (2/5). The sticky rice was very good and perfect texture (5/5). These are my personal reviews. Would like to see how other people rate the food as well. It was very busy so it took a long time to get my food which was fine. The only thing is, I ordered a stir fry with chicken and there were hardly any vegetables and the chicken was like all minced up it wasn't pieces of chicken like I expected .
