I usually love Minhas, to preface this. We came in today and it looks like they had only one server, and about half of the restaurant was full. I would love to be able to write about the food, but we ended up deciding to leave after half an hour of not being served. Seriously. She came and gave us menus maybe about halfway through that half hour, never asked if we wanted anything to drink, and never looked at us again. Served other tables, stood at the stand, never really came to handle us. I couldn't even tell you her name because she didn't greet us!

I've loved the food when I've been able to have it. The service today was just so majorly disappointing I had to write about it. Either get more servers, or train them to even greet their patrons.

The brisket Sammie is the best brisket I've ever eaten! The gentleman who roasts it on his smoker, knows what he's doing! Fall apart tender! I like the sides: beans, Mac and cheese, coleslaw. Great staff. Huge portion! Hubby and I shared the sandwich and there's plenty of meat. The tender potato bun is delicious, but small. I don't care, it's still delicious. Just use a fork...or your fingers 😋 Noon on a Friday.

I really don't understand why it takes over an hour to get food, it's very annoying and I think it's very disrespectful. You can only enjoy the atmosphere so long while waiting for your food. Other times i've been here to eat only to be turned away because all the tables were full. Well, no wonder when you have to sit for an hour and a half before you are done. The soup was not hot, food was decent but overpriced. Not a very good overall experience. I'd say service was the worst, not very kind and not very fast.

Food was ok,. Broiled fish was good, Trill burger was good. Friday fish fry was ok, way overcooked. Service was below average. Our waiter couldn't remember who ordered what, never cleared plates, they just kept piling up on our small table. All this while the place was essentially empty, us and one other couple in the place i also thought dinner was overpriced, by about $5 per meal.

We decided to give this place a try after some friends recommended it. Probably the worst dining experience/decision we’ve made in a long time. Please keep in mind we were only one of two tables in the whole place on a calm Sunday lunch. The waitress didn’t bring my wife’s drink she ordered. Took three reminders and about 25min for them to finally make it, while the wait and bar staff stood around. Finally received our food order, which took a ridiculous amount of time, and they only made three of four meals. Again, my wife’s order was not made. We finally were able to find an employee well after her meal didn’t show and asked them to just cancel the order. We all were done eating already. They then said they were making it now. The fried chicken sandwich showed and was absolutely incinerated and was inedible. They even acknowledged it was very bad. There was no way we were waiting even more for another meal to be made. The rest of our food was very subpar straight out of the freezer or jar. Very disappointing especially considering the very high cost. We do not recommend this place and will not return.

For a table of 4 the staff seemed to be overwhelmed...only ones in restaurant. 3 of 4 received there cocktails, but the 4th took 20 minutes as an after thought. Food was average at best, and yet the person that didn't receive her cocktail didn't get her meal until everyone was finished. Oh did I mention that her meal was burnt and overdone. Never go there again. I don't get the reviews. What the hell was going on in the kitchen.

Minha's Kitchen was a great place to have lunch. We were there on a Friday so we were able to have a walleye fish fry. It was so big we could share it! It was very good. Amanda was our server and was very attentive to us for anything we wanted. Will definitely go back

Sat outside for lunch and it took a long time to even just get water, one of us had to go up to the bar and ask. Wasn't packed, but maybe they were understaffed. Usually slow service doesn't bother me, but on top of not great food and an underwhelming beer menu it all kinda culminated into a mediocre meal experience. Food wasn't bad, but also didn't 'wow' anyone in our group. Overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

We were here at about 4 pm on Saturday afternoon. The place was very quiet so we had the bartenders full attention. After having a cocktail we ordered dinner. My wife had the chicken sandwich and I had their large BBQ sampler platter. Both meals were excellent and I had enough meat left for breakfast the next morning.

We finally came for the first time after living near Monroe our whole lives- and didn't realize what we were missing! The cheese curds were perfectly fried, if a little oily(what do you expect?) and we both got the Apple Jack burger. Delish. The blumers soda was nostalgic and delicious as always. We’ve been going to Minhas for serval years and have brought several people. We went as a group this last weekend and were truly disappointed. The distillery was with the brewery. The only flights they offered were all sweet. No longer pick what drinks you’d like. The tasting station in the Brewery was gone. We went to the winery and given samples in plastic shot glasses and no descriptions of the wines. We used to spend a half day at Minhas and have a great time. We were there about little over a hour. It was very disappointing.

I am leaving a review for our group who actually insisted on a lower rating but I just can't go that low. The menu seemed so promising and the prices would indicate they could back it up, however, most everything was disappointing- we were given plastic cups and cheap napkins. Our waitress was nice (though not highly attentive) and that's the best we can offer. Our food was a combination of cold, late, gross and mushy (6 people). Drinks were also not good. Shelves being stocked during our Saturday night meal, women's bathroom out of service. We are from out of town and ignored polite warnings about eating here. I hate to leave bad reviews but proceed with caution.

We will not be coming back to this Restaurant. It took us over an hour to get our food, it was not busy if so I would have been more understanding. When we got our food the pasta was way too salty. So much you couldn’t eat it. We told the server how salty it was and she didn’t even offer to take it back and recook it. We didn’t even get a refill on our drinks the whole time we were there. My husband and I have had really bad experiences with the food. We figured we’d try it again but still very disappointed. Tonight he got the salmon pasta bake. Salmon came out RAW. We sent it back. They fixed the mistake but didn’t do anything on the bill for it. I had a chicken wrap that had more lettuce than chicken. I wish it was back when everything was great but it’s gone way downhill. The wait staff is amazing, just the kitchen isn’t doing their best.

A great restaurant option in Monroe. Love the location, the feel inside and the huge outdoor seating area. Service is usually good, though one of the last times we were there our server wasn't very attentive. They have really kicked it up a notch when it comes to the food. Service great, decor great, execution of the food great. But being a chef for years I could tell ingredients, plating, portions, and cleanliness need help. Not a good sign when dishes don’t taste fresh, tasting the dirtiness of the grill and fryer oil. All be it a Sunday. Also I could tell where butter should have been used it was butter constitute. Plus no way a real chef would serve me a burger in a bowl or make poutine with bland gravy and on bottom of poutine makes no sense. Sad potential but clearly who ever owns this place doesn’t care to use fresh ingredients, pay a staff to keep a clean grill and fryer oil, also when you order a shrimp topper on pasta and it’s advertised as butterflied

Brought my girl to celebrate a promotion and for 63 dollars for two people don’t want to eat a burger out of a bowl, get unfresh pasta, cheap store bought pesto, dirty grill garlic bread, poutine with gravey with little favor and on the bottom, plus watching everyone walking out with to go boxes never a good sign. Heard good things sad. Hope they take my criticism and do better! If everything was on par would have been happy to be 80. Also I did leave 25 percent tip.

It was my first time here. The food and service were solid. Great flavor and the chefs take care to make sure the food is well seasoned and executed consistently. The pasta dishes were great and cooked perfectly. The pretzel was outstanding. Soft warm inside and nice crisp outside. The poutine had great flavor. We will be going back to try more! The service was decent, above average; it could be better. The food was good, but not great. For the cost of it, I was expecting it to be a tad better. My steak was good, but it wasn’t great. Maybe it’s my taste buds, but the area steaks seem to be a tad tough. There is one local restaurant where twice now I have had their steaks, and both times they were almost perfect, if not…98% there. 😂 over all I say at least 3.75 ⭐️ and definitely ordering off the menu is the way to go. I've been here twice before and had the buffet special, and it was ok…not what I’m expecting from this restaurant. I believe the two appetizers we had were definitely better than my surf and turf…NOT that my surf and turf is something to brush off; I had better.

Cool spot with terrific service. They were able to accommodate a vegan meal with small modifications - the black bean burger wrap with hummus instead of ranch. They have a fun drink special "guess the flight" where you are challenged to guess the kind of alcohol in each of four drinks. Will be back!

My husband enjoyed his shrimp over grits and they almost give you too many grits w/sauce-gravy. Our wine tasting after the meal was most enjoyable!!

Staff is friendly and interacted great with the kids. Food was good. Seasoned fries had a little too much salt but otherwise good.

Only reason for dropping a star is price ... Seems a bit high. Burgers are around $16, salad options were around $12, and pasta is around $16. The kids items seemed to be priced appropriately.

We had Minhas Kitchen cater our wedding this fall, and they did an amazing job! Trisha and her staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. Trisha took the time to sit down with us to create the perfect menu for our day. We received a ton of compliments from our guests on how good the food and service was. We would highly recommend Minhas for catering any event.
