17$ dollars for a small brisket sandwich and a drink. Would have been over 21 if I added fries. Food was good but you can't smell the smoke on the meat. I'm guessing they are in business because there isn't much competition in the BBQ space here. If fries were included, I could rationalize the price. It's a clean establishment and the food came quick. I guess this is where things are heading. I'll check back in two years when it's 30$ for lunch and see if the fries are included 🤷.. When Buc-ees comes to the area, I'll be curious to see how it affects business.

Delicious Hamburger & Fries!
I had a very good hamburger and fries — the burger was thick, juicy, and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed trying the different BBQ sauces

Everything here is AMAZING! The moist brisket sandwich is my favorite but there isn't anything I wouldn't recommend. My Mom drives all the way from a different county just to go to Mission on hwy 100 lol The atmosphere is awesome too. There's all kinds of cool pictures and knick knacks to look at all over the place. If you like bbq, there is no other chain that comes close to these guys!!! WOW :-p

Laid back atmosphere, staff were all nice/accommodating, great service, food was flavor packed and came out fresh/hot. Our kids enjoyed being able to eat with their fingers for most of the items. My 7yo loved their chicken and cornbread as well as taste testing all the BBQ sauce. Bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen.

We love the food here. It is high quality and just plain yummy! Their sweet tea is southern sweet style. We ate at this one and the one in Gurnee and have to say, the metal trays they place it on are cold.. so the meat gets REALLY cold very fast, and you need a sweet bbq. The kids dont love the spicy sauces. Seriously, that's the only small issues I would fix. Everything else is great!

I’ve been stopping here for lunch for a few years now. First time reviewing, which is long over due.

You’ll be greeted with a smile and polite conversation by genuine people, which is refreshing. This happens every time, regardless of who the manager is or who is behind the counter. Mission must train their people to be friendly, or only hire these kinds of people. Great customer service!

Today, Lauren greeted me. When she found out I was a fireman, she made a point to bring me a “thank you for your service” dessert of Red Velvet cake. They are very sincere about their respect for military, cops and firemen.

My lunch was very good, again. I am a bit embarrassed I didn’t leave a review sooner. Check them out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

I have had the sliced brisket sandwich. The three times I have eat here. I order point meat for the sandwich. The flavor is spot on but all three times I was disappointed in the amount of fat in the meat. I asked the gentleman who made the sandwich if it was point meat or flat meat. He said it was point meat, and that he could look for pieces with more fat in them.But from looking at the slices, I didn't see how that was possible. I will try a couple more times and if I am not satisfied with the sandwich. The next couple times I will not eat here any longer.

The staff here is just amazing. I think they all said hello when we came in and the food is phenomenal everything was so accurate and my husband is a Vietnam veteran and they all thanked him for his service and they all just have smiles on their face and one of the workers named Natalie came over to the table and was chatting with us for a few minutes and it was very nice.

It has been over a year since, I've visited a Mission Bbq. The flavors were ok, but those flavors and portions did not warrant a $26 price tag for a single meal, which included the upcharge for the 9/11 cup. I now understand why the restaurant had almost as many staff as customers. Prohibitively expensive is the term I'll use. I didn't have any ribs or brisket, as I was trying to keep my meal at a reasonable price and yet, I still paid $26.

We used Mission as our caterer for our April 2024 wedding. The catering manager, Chloe, was the BEST! She was so efficient & organized, and made a few special accommodations for us, and went out of her way to be at all of our vendor meetings.
Most importantly, the food was a HIT and tasted just as good as it did when we did our tasting. We had so many compliments from our guests on everything (the BRISKET specifically was the bomb). Everyone much preferred the BBQ route over traditional wedding catering.
Additionally, the day-of staff were so nice and helpful. They even put together a separate little to-go bag for my husband and I to take back to our hotel at the end of the night. Such a thoughtful touch! Thank you ALL!!

Walked into West Allis location Saturday June 15th 3 minutes before 9pm posted closing time with 4 ppl. Ordered food. One of the cooks started throwing a fit. Literally throwing stuff around and slamming kitchen utensils on the prep table. Incredibly uncomfortable. Sorry to have spent our money there. If you don't want to serve customers at 8:57 pm change your hours from 9 to 8:45. (And then don't slam stuff around if ppl come in at 8:40)

Best burger I've had for the price of around $10 for the first time I've come there. Super thick burger that was well-done quality. Mac and cheese side was quality and crispy, too. The chicago sweet was a tasty additive to the burger with a tangy, sweet taste that definitely tastes better than BBQ sauce

I usually steer away from businesses that are overly patriotic, because they come across a bit heavy handed. This chain keeps a clear focus on the military and our service members, which I appreciate.

This location has outstanding service. The woman at the counter was calm, helpful, and friendly. We were checked on at our table, and they made sure we had the right food. Great experience here that exceeds my expectations for "fast-casual dining"

Why is this place rated so highly?? I'm guessing it's because there's no competition and most its patrons haven't experienced real barbecue to know when they're getting scammed. This place has mediocre food, puny portions (and I'm a small person), and outrageously expensive prices.
