We actually quite like Mod Pizza. The subway style pizza is fantastic. You tell them what you want, they build it and the toppings don't cost extra, maybe that's even a little better than subway. They cook it up for you and you get an amazing thin crust pizza made just the way you want it. Their no name cake is amazing. We also love the marinberry lemonade. Can't pass that up. The service is sometimes hit or miss. The last visit some of the staff seemed very frazzled, lacked hair nets or control of their hair, just seemed to lack some of the food service hygiene. This was rhe first experience with that, normally the staff is very composed and tidy. That was a bit of a turnoff this visit. Price wise, they aren't bad. They are on par with just about any fast food place and the food is better than most. We will continue to visit but hopefully they can tidy up the food service hygiene.

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We let the guys know we were unfamiliar with their restaurant so they gave us the run down on how things worked. We picked our crust thickness, crust size and toppings. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The workers were all friendly and very helpful through our whole experience. Pizza is awesome at every location. The lady at the counter (the owner I believe) was rude. I came 30 minutes before closing & due rushed me to order. I told her... You don't close for 30 minutes. She still kept telling me to "hurry" while picking out toppings. The is also a language barrier. I kept telling her that I wasn't presto on the edges. She proceeded to put it on the middle of my pizza. I love mod pizza but I dislike this location. I was treated very poorly. Me & my party. Ordered 2 pizzas.

This was a really gross experience due to the lack of good hygiene techniques used by a couple of the staff members - Ranging from the guy who was making my pizza had a long shirt on and the bottom of his shirt was dragging over my pizza as he was preparing it. Another guy came in from outside (maybe from a smoke break?), took off his ball cap, ran both his hands through his hair, then went to the register and started touching it. And then when i went to pay for my pizza, the first guy i mentioned above was wearing his plastic gloves as he's tapping the keys on the register, then takes my money, then touches the CC/debit card machine, all with his gloves on. i can only imagine that he went back to making pizzas with those same gloves that had touched all that equipment.
Things seemed very disorganized, too.
i chose this place because they offer plant-based 'cheeze' options. But after witnessing these gross techniques, i'm not sure i'll go back.

I went the Tuesday Evening time frame- and the staff are just knocking it out of the park. Exact environment you'd want for a pizzeria, reasonabley clean and comfortable seating. John Scully at the Mineral Point, Madison location made the most awesome gluten friendly pizza we ever had...with basil, garlic, rosemary, chicken, onions, pineapple, and roast red peppers. Been gluten free for many years, and this is the first place that got it spot on. John rocked it, dude is a master pizza maker...way to go John, you got a customer for life! You get the same size pizza gluten friendly as you would a regular pizza, and so many choices...Mod Pizza rocks!

The staff working the closing shift on 7/2 (we came in at around 8:00 pm) provided outstanding service. We had a to go order we placed online. They had accidentally put ranch on top, rather than on the side, and were already remaking the pizza as we came in to get the order. The guy taking the order and making the pizza seemed disinterested. The guy making the pizzas threw the pizza peel into the oven then couldn’t use it to cook any other pizzas because it was too hot to hold. So pizzas just sat there not getting cooked. The entire restaurant is a mess. This place is a cluster! Surprisingly, the pizza wasn’t bad…..where it wasn’t burnt! I’m thinking it was this crew working at this particular time, because it just can’t be this bad all the time.

MOD Pizza is my new go-to for pizza in our area. It has lots of options and is made fresh for your order. I really love all of the options. And served with ranch and hot honey. It's our favorite.

THIS PIZZA RUINED MY LIFE. I ordered a pizza for pickup and was so excited to get a pizza after a long day of work and was extremely hungry but after I got home i opened the box to find the worst pizza that has ever been made in all history. It looked like the pizza got put through the laundry and then slapped with a bunch of toppings that I didn’t ask for. Not only did they slap the ugliest piece of dough in a box but they couldn’t even cut it evenly. 2 slices took up maybe’s 74% of the pizza and the rest of the slices just looked malnourished. Now I’m making food at home, hangry (hungry/angry) because I can’t eat this wet sock. I’m never getting a pizza ever again. This pizza ruined all pizza’s for me.

Love MOD pizza, but this location is awful! Second time I’ve been here and they’ve charged $3.49 for 24 ounce soda cup, but giving me a plastic water cup. I’ve even asked for the correct cup, and they told me it is which I know it isn’t. There are no lids for these plastic water cups. Garlic sticks weren’t even fully cooked in the middle, and they put my sauces on top of my sticks, causing the plastic to melt, and the sauce to leak out all over couldn’t eat with melted plastic on my food. Mini mad pizza only had the ranch dressing swirl on the center nothing near the edges or near the crust. It was really weird. This location is often very dirty and employees are hardly seen washing their hands. Drink station is dirty tables, dirty, bathrooms, dirty.

This specific location is the worst I’ve seen in the chain. They oftentimes make mistakes, and love to cancel. I haven’t actually eaten there in months due to their cancels…. That’s the thing, the service is garbage. They’ve waited so long to cancel that they move our meal back 1+ hour, and if you’re lucky enough to get one, it’s cold.

Placed a curbside pickup order, gave them a 30 minute lead time. Called the number when I got there and they said pizza was in the oven and they would bring it out to me. Terrible atmosphere, zero service. We stood right in front of them ready to order and they completely ignored us. Same with paying. We stood there right in front of our pizzas by the register. The dude also ignored us. He had to be reminded by the other person who previously ignored us that we still need to pay. As he finally turned his attention to us, he asked us what we had ordered. Nothing was written down or noted anywhere. No receipt. Also, they didn't change their gloves between customers. My husband who is allergic to mushrooms decided to not eat anything after observing them for a while.

If I was rating on customer service it would be 1 star, but the pizza is a 5 star. All The employees at the front had an attitude. I order pizza for pick on my lunch at work. Every time, as in at least 3 in a row, the pizza isn't even started until after the pick up time. I don't have time to wait without being late back to work, and I tipped in advance for bad service.....

This review was a 2 star but while waiting the staff decided to tell me that all places make you wait forever for your food in a very rude manner. Don't offer pick up if you can't do it, it isn't my fault you are behind.
