Thought coming here would be nice since I’m vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat and here we can customize small pizzas. They made the meat pizza first and I turned as they started making the Tristan pizza that I ordered and I noticed some pink on my pizza. I decided to ask the cashier if he could ask the pizza maker if she switched her gloves and she said no because “they didn’t say anything about that”. But if you aren’t regularly practicing glove changes all day that means the food is already contaminated so how would me asking make a difference. The cashier offered to remake it but I passed due to the lack of standard. This location also seemed so hostile because some of the female workers were so openly rude to the one male worker and I almost said something but then he went on break. Wouldn’t recommend this place, I see why the other location closed. 👎

This location is generally okay, but there was an employee today who had not spread the sauce on the pizza. When I asked him to do so, he replied, "We cannot do that here."

In addition to this, I sent my son to order a cookie pizza after our food, and that same employee replied, "We don't have any." As soon as that employee went to the back, we asked a different employee who then made a cookie pizza for us.

I'm not sure what's wrong with this employee, but you have one that denies service due to what I can only assume is laziness.

I have been to this location several times, but after what I’ve witnessed and experienced, I will never return.

On one visit, I saw an employee making pizza dough who scratched himself inappropriately and then continued handling food without washing his hands. Disgusted, I asked for help and was approached by another worker named Travis. Instead of apologizing, he came toward me disrespectfully and started ranting about the management even bringing up that the manager is transgender, which was completely unprofessional and irrelevant.

What shocked me even more was that I had seen this same employee outside the restaurant smoking pot with a coworker right before coming back in to work. That’s not only unprofessional but raises serious health and safety concerns.

Worse, during our interaction he also referred to another worker using the slur “retard.” That worker happens to be my friend, who has special needs and had actually recommended this place to me. Hearing an employee speak about him like that was beyond offensive and unacceptable.

Despite these issues, I once gave the restaurant another chance and ordered online. The pizza arrived undercooked with a hair and even a small fruit fly baked into the dough.

Between the disgusting food handling, staff under the influence, the lack of professionalism, and the disrespect toward both staff and customers, this restaurant is a health and management disaster. I strongly warn anyone considering eating here to think twice.

I did get the wrong dressing for a salad once when I ordered via Uber eats, but sometimes mistakes happen as we are all human. I asked Uber eats for a refund, it was approved, and the world kept spinning.

Such a pleasant experience here. First time in and even though it was a busy Friday night, Jedi made me feel so welcomed. He was answering phone, making salads, making pizzas, changing his gloves for my allergens, and just so sweet and patient with my questions and requests.

I came in to order a mod pizza. The people preparing the pizza appeared to be young teenage girls and when they finished the pizza and I took it to the car, and ate a few bites of the pizza, I realized the pizza was undercooked. The cheese would not stick to the crust and everything was falling apart. The next two days, I ended up getting extreme fatigue, stomach aches, and cramps from the undercooked pizza. I went to urgent care and it turns out the pizza gave me E COLI.

Came here with my partner for lunch since they have gluten free crust options. However, after seeing them prepare the other pizzas, how messy their workspace was, and how careless they were with prep, I decided against ordering. So many other made-to-order pizza places (Blaze for example) have separate spaces where they make the gluten free pizzas with toppings and utensils that do not interact with the regular pizzas. I did not feel like my pizza would be made with the care and awareness my allergy requires so I opted out on ordering.

Restaurant is very dirty. The staff put the receipt they just wrote on with marker under the pizza dough. The counter was a disaster with scraps of veggies and cheese and dried sauce and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for hours. table still need to be cleaned prior to sitting or choosing a clean table. during multiple visits over the year i have never seen them clean a table....if the staff would be more attentive and diligent in cleanliness it would probably be would a 5 star location. my rating remains a steady 4 stars!

MOD is always a solid option. After another pizza place delivered my gluten free pizza with a wheat crust and wouldn’t answer the phone, MOD saved the day - I was able to quickly place an order online, and by the time we drove there to pick it up it was ready, prepared perfectly, exactly as ordered. The pizza is fantastic. I wish they would have a sign that you can read while in line to know the available toppings, sauces and finishing sauces. It would make the line go faster. Also, the staff member with pink hair was incredible. She was so patient with people in line trying to figure out what they wanted and she was working so hard. It's been awhile since we had MOD Pizza and im happily surprised when i came back to see that the quality and service has not degraded at all.
The pizza was great and i think was definitely worth the price - we really enjoyed making our own pizza and it ended up tasting really good.
Our server was great and helped us when she knew we were making up the pizza on the go with fun ideas and recommended a couple of sauces on the side.
The place itself feels a bit sad on the inside but they have an outside seating which is nice.
Would definitely be back to try new tastes!

MOD Pizza: MOD Pizza is relatively new to the area and had been recommended to me by a number of people. The premise of the restaurant is that you can create/modify your own personal pizza with any of their toppings for the same cost. The pizza is also cooked rather quickly (as it’s very thin crust), so it’s almost like fast food. A similar set-up to Subway can be found when entering the restaurant, where one instructs the employee on the other side of the counter what ingredients/toppings to add to their custom pizza. My creation had an Alfredo sauce base, mushrooms, onions, Canadian bacon, Mozzarella cheese, and Asiago cheese. Overall, I was pleased with the way it tasted. I would go back at some point but wouldn’t rush back because of the pricing and I personally prefer a thicker crust. It’s about $10 for your personal pizza, which isn’t egregious, but I can get larger pies at some of my other go to pizza parlors for around that price. The restaurant was clean, the employees were friendly, and it is appreciated that they offer a wide variety of customizations. It's worth checking out if you’re near one, but not necessarily a place I would go out of my way to get.

My daughter and I just arrived at 9:15 pm to order to go. This store is open until 10:00 pm. All of the chairs were up already. The two ladies working there did not greet us and the young lady working there gave us a dirty look and just keep working on a pizza she was already making. When she did make eye contact with me again I said, "Hi." She just rolled her eyes and finished that pizza and then began working on another pizza, very slowly. We waited several more minutes. Was told that nobody in the restaurant had a license to sell beer that was working. One of the workers said they could, but the lady at the register said no she couldn't either, cause someone higher up said she didn't have a license to sell beer either, but that lady was over 21. You have it as a menu item. If your workers can't sell it, then take it off your menu.

Also because of the lack of staff, the line was all the way to the door and the 3 people behind the counter were just doing online orders for more than 7 minutes, while the line was getting longer, which is fine, but at least the staff could have been nice and said something like sorry for the wait or we will be with you in a minute, but they said nothing.

The same lady that said we couldn't have any beer because nobody has a license to sell it, called my name for me to pick up my pizza and just gave me a closed box and didn't even ask if I wanted to finish it up with a sauce. By the way the ticket said 'FOR HERE' not to go, so instead of having the pizza on a plate, we ate it out the box, unless other around us that had there pizza on a plate.

The pizza is ok, but this visit was not ok and the staff needs more training and maybe get a beer license....

This was my first time having MOD Pizza, and it will be my last. I will say the positives first, great fast delivery, order was correct. I do like that you can add whatever toppings you want and they won't upcharge you.

I really wanted to like this pizza and I will say the crust's texture was great, but overall the pizza and garlic breadsticks was the most flavorless meal I've had in a very long time. I don't understand why people seem to like this place. I was so unimpressed.

Extremely disappointed in this facility. This store is a lot closer to my job so I just figured I would get it compared to driving all the way to 84th and Layton to get it. I absolutely will not come back to this I will drive the 40 minute out my way to get my pizza moving forward. Staff were extremely rude like I was interrupted their conversation and extremely stingy with all the food and when asked to put more staff than proceeded to roll her eyes. Pizza was okay but I will be more than happy to drive out my way to get amazing customer service and amazing food at the location on 84th and Layton. Extremely disappointed.

Lady with tattoos and no gloves touching my pizza in the oven. Obviously not cooked right and still tries to give it to me anyways. Half the pizza is flat and the other half is filled with air. 🤢🤢 oh lord🤢🤢

Every single time my boyfriend and I order online pickup, the staff just stands there and stares at us or ignores us entirely. This time one of the guys at the counter even went out of his way to help the person behind us in line. Our order was also messed up, we paid for mega dough and got regular pizzas that had the wrong toppings on it.

The service was terrible I ask the lady about the sauce.She never gave me a answer.The guy I believe was the manager was talking to a costumer as if he wasn't on the clock.3 ppls came in he told them 10mins an kept talking as if they wasn't there.The big lady was tired.The whole crew had issues.The lady next to me just shaking head as well.She said it was a nightmare,I so agreed.

Went there and I told the lady at the online pick up that I was there to pick up an online order. She was just staring at me rolling her eyes and asking me if I had a name. I also had to wait because my pizza was not ready yet.
I said thank you and she didn’t even answer me. Very very rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the pizza was so dry I could make a better one at home. Overall very bad experience. It’s the first and last time I go there.

If you love bland and dry pizza with 3 inches of flat crust around the outside and a little pile of toppings in the middle then you have bad taste and this pizza spot is custom made for you. Terrible staff who roll their eyes at you if you politely ask them to try even a little. The saddest part is this place used to be pretty good.

This was my first time. I told one of the employees but I didn't really get any extra help besides the dough. The toppings weren't labeled so I wasn't sure what everything was. It took about 25 minutes because it was a decent amount of people. The employees had decent customer service skills. The pizza was okay, a little greesy.

Absolutely love the ladies who were working at the Oak Creek Mod location! I totally forgot to aske their names but in any case THEY KILLED IT!!
Prompt, attentive, and friendly as soon as we walked in the door.

The possibilities are endless if you want to build your own creation. I would highly recommend the "Caspian" unaltered...that is if bbq, chicken, red onion, and gorgonzola are your thing. We absolutely loved it.
Fresh ingredients and wood burning oven are key to these delicious pizzas 🍕 😋

Absolutely horrendous service. A brunette in a purple shirt went out of her way to belittle coworkers and give me all the attitude possible about my order and told me ‘well you’re gonna have to wait’ when I asked for pesto on the side. I am more than happy to wait, there are nicer ways to ask. Really unenjoyable experience due to her.

Pizza is always great here, and I have never had an issue. After going in yesterday night, however, I was shocked at the customer service I received. Absolutely unacceptable. Employees did not acknowledge me for at least 20 minutes (mind you there was no one in line in front of me.) I also watched my pizza sit out for at least 10 minutes before it was given to me. Employees were too busy having their own conversations, laughing and swearing to each other to notice or care about any customers inside the store! They also messed up someone’s pizza who had been waiting next to me, and proceeded to giggle and laugh when it splatted to the floor. After she had been waiting just as long as I had! I have worked in the restaurant industry, and am very understanding when it comes to these situations, but it was truly a horrible experience. Hopefully employees can get talked to, and they can fix this, because I do love their pizza and want to support this business.

I avoided posting a new review because I have always liked MODs but an experience on 8/25/22 has left a bad taste in my mouth and the company doesn't seem to care. I contacted the store because I thought they should address the issues. They never responded! We arrived at MODs at about 9:20. There was one person at the counter finishing ordering 1 pizza and starting the 2nd pizza. The person behind the counter finished that order put the pizzas in the oven and walked away from the counter. A few minutes later he returned, asked us what we were ordering, and walked away again. After a few more minutes, he returned and started prepping crusts. I thought he might start to help me but I was wrong. Without a word, he started making an internet order. Another guy came in from outside and started talking with the woman manning the oven. Finally, after over 15 minutes the original guy behind the counter started to help me, but then again walked away. The guy from outside came over to help. Problem was, that he never washed his hands after coming in, but at least he put gloves on. I didn't say anything because I figured at least he had gloves on. In all, it took over 20 minutes to place our order. Not a word like, "Sorry for the delay", or "just a minute" or "I'll be right back".
Entered the restaurant at 9:18. Checked out at 9:41.

This is the second time I have came to MOD Pizza and the cashier (with blue hair)/ lady that puts toppings on pizza has been rude. No one deserves to be treated this way. Because my coworker asked her a question about pricing she walks off the register. Customer service is big. If she doesn't want to work don't show up.
