I love this park, itβs one of the nicest places in this area to be able to fish from shore above and below the damn. Manacles and grill sights. Northern Wi is the best place on earth

It's so exciting that Mondeaux is open with regular hours and tasty menu items. The burgers are to die for, and everything else on the menu is fantastic too! We loved coming in the summer, but now having visited in winter, the atmosphere is even more magical, and the property is serene. We were excited to find out they're trying some special multi-course dinner events, and we'll definitely be buying tickets to those!

Stopped in on Christmas Eve morning and had a Bloody Mary and a variety basket. Fire in the fireplace, food was excellent, great service, and very clean. Peaceful because it hasn't snowed, so the trails aren't open yet.

Mondeaux Dam is a burgers and fries place with a grilled cheese option for vegetarians. You will find warm, friendly service in a rustic setting overlooking one of the prettiest spots in the state. A super stop after hiking Mondeaux Esker.

Food is served fast-food style. I.E. you order at the counter and it's brought out to your table when it's done.
Haddock and walleye Fish Fry's were awesome.
Mushroom and swiss burgers were amazing.
My son loved the chicken strips.
Sour cream and chive fries were also extremely good.
Italian Beef was just pretty good served with cheese and raw onions instead of the giardiniera that I've come to expect on an Italian Beef sandwich.
Staff was very friendly.
All in all, a very nice place. I'll be back for sure during next year's camping trip.
Bonus: This is the only restaurant I know of with shower facilities!

It has been years since we had been to Mondeaux Dam and the Lodge has had a face lift and is very nice. We had shrimp tacos and a fish taco and they were excellent. Prices are very reasonable and the service fast a very friendly. Planning to go back in the near future.

Love that it is open again! There was a bit of a wait to get our food, but they were pretty busy so that was to be expected. The food was great! Got a few different variations of the burger and loved them all. Wonderful to see life at the dam again!

We went on a Friday night to get their fish fry. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated that the kitchen staff followed the order. Many places serve bread with their fish fry. I always request no bread but frequently receive it anyway. I didn't here. Seeing the restored building is worth the trip. And the setting overlooking the flowage is very tranquil.

We found the place by accident while driving through country roads by the chequamegon national forest. It was gorgeous! A cabin on the water Then we went in and wow, a beautiful rustic cabin. Then we ordered food from the awesomely friendly staff, ( chef special, shrimp and cod tacos, fresh cilantro. Amazing!) As was the mushroom swish burger! I only wish that we live closer. A wonderful experience. 5 stars! We will go far out of our way to find this place again!

Great building, wonderful staff, and the burgers are incredible. They also offer kayak and pontoon rentals. We took the pontoon out for a couple hours and got a great description of what to look out for before we went out. There is a beautiful section of the IAT that passes right by the lodge.

I got the combo fish frey basket. One peice of cod and one peice of Walleye. But the Walleye was a huge peice. Also came with sour cream and chive fries. This was enough food for my girlfriend and I. A little pricey $30 but I would recommend trying it!

We didn't go inside here (think it was closed), but it's a nice looking building on the outside, and the surrounding area is beautiful with great views.
There's a lot of parking here, restrooms, showers, a playground, fishing, swimming, and hiking. This looks like a great place to spend an afternoon!
There are several Pokestops and a few gyms in the area.

The "proof is in the pudding!" A long "WPA project" renovation, taking a very-long time, indeed (I miss the showers the most)! Our cabin (w/o plumbing), makes me (like fish & relatives), "Stink," aft. 3-days! Eh? Oh, to at least "have those showers back!" Will be so nice when/if, lodge gets "done" by 2022?

In the 1970's and 80's. This was our families destination for camping and fishing. To this day, all of our largest fish came from this body of water. We had visited it again in the early 2000's to find the lodge had been let to rot. A make shift food vending area was all they had too offer. I just visited it again today...03/27/2021. The lodge was all boarded up with construction trailers parked oitaide. New side walk improvements in progress. Its a shame such a valuble location was allowed to loose its history. A photo of me and a 50"+ musky was located in the entry hall. That was gone on 2000's when we visited.
