I ordered ahead of time for 5 people, the order was ready for pickup well within a reasonable time frame. The food portions were great for the price. My Mother had gotten the Moneecia's Salad and noted that the produce used in the food tasted "Garden fresh". And I completely agree with that, didn't taste mass produced. Great communication, quick preparation, high quality ingredients, very friendly people.

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. We ordered cheese curds to share and the ranch was so good. I ordered the gyro sandwich, delicious. Plenty to bring home. When I say Moneecia’s has the BEST FRIES I mean I drive out of my way to get those fries (and they are still so hot and so crispy by the time I get home!!) Perfect amount of seasoning (lemon pepper perhaps?) Tonight’s gyro also had the most beautifully sliced tomatoes (arranged all neatly) and perfectly crisp and flavorful onions on top, I felt like my to-go order was treated with utmost care! I love going to Moneecia’s!! The staff is super friendly to boot :)

We ordered takeout. The burger was excellent, and the fries were good, with a nice seasoning. We also tried the gyro sandwich, and my goodness, that was also incredible. To end the meal, we tried the s'more cookie skillet, and it was well worth it. We live about 10 minutes away, and the food carried well on the way home.The staff members are friendly, and very personable. I'm already planning to bring friends back with me!

Not sure what the hype is about. My gyro dinner took 50 minutes. Only 4 customers were ahead of me, and I got there 10 minutes after opening. Fries were cold, they forget my coleslaw that came with it, and the meat was not tender but crunchy.

Tried out Moneecia's Kitchen and had a great overall experience. They gave very generous portions and the food was delicious. Staff were very kind. I will be recommending them to my friends and family! I couldn't eat the entire Gyro burger in one sitting which was okay because it tasted fantastic leftover. I am soooooo beyond impressed with this restaurant!!!!! Let’s just start with the service and the atmosphere, so welcoming and friendly, came to check on us and chatted , made us feel so welcomed and we had lots of laughs !!! I had the portobello melt and added some fried onion. The combination of flavors in the seasoning with the fresh basil leaves, was so good. I can't say enough good things about this place. I just rolled myself back home after taking my son here. I had skipped lunch and was feeling pretty hungry, so I ordered the super gyro. I should have known when I heard "super??" coming from the kitchen. It was enormous and piled high with delicious gyro meat. I could only get through half of it and took the rest home.

My son had a cheeseburger which he really enjoyed. We both loved the fries as well.

Everyone here was super friendly and made sure we were happy with our food. I'll be recommending Moneecia's Kitchen to all of my friends.

My book club met at Moneecia’s since we heard the food was so good. That is true!
Everyone enjoyed their food and took some home, as portions are generous.
Five of us were able to gather around two of their tables. While they don’t have much space maybe a group of eight could fit. They graciously hosted us and treated us well!

Stopped in last night for my first experience from Moneecia's, and wow, I am impressed!
My wife and I got the gyro dinner to share. Even as a to-go order, the presentation was terrific. The fries were hot, crispy, and wonderfully seasoned. Overall the meal was big enough for two adults, and would probably fill up one healthy teenager.

What an absolute gem of a restaurant! We ordered take out. The employees there were so kind, chatty and eager to get to know us. The food was amazing and plentiful! We ordered super gyros and the servings were immense! We ate half of it with plenty for a second meal. Had the single bacon cheeseburger and fries. Lots of food, the burger was huge. It was cooked well done, they didnt ask how I wanted it cooked as usually I would get it medium well, but I also didn't think to ask. It wasn't too dry, and had good flavor. The burger had probably had 4 large pieces of thick bacon on it. Fries were the battered type, crispy, and with a seasoning that I believe was garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Really good meal. Everything we got was AMAZING! The strawberry cream cheese dump cake was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time! We only got one piece to try it and we were fighting over the last bite, lol. I also love their fried okra. It can be a little harder to find without driving across town, so I'm glad there's a delicious option nearby to fulfill the craving. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly, and even though it's a smaller space it was lovely inside. I'm hoping they'll become so in-demand they'll have to upgrade a bigger place to accommodate their fast-growing fan base! (But don't go too far if you do 😉)

My first time at Moneecia’s Kitchen and I loved it!!! I ordered takeout. Everything was made fresh to order, portion size was worth the cost, friendly and courteous staff. I had ordered mozzarella sticks and they were out, before packing my order I was given an option to substitute and I just wanted additional fries. The peach cobbler reminded me of my grandma’s and that’s hard to find. From this Southern Belle…. I give them a chef’s kiss!!👩🏽‍🍳😙

Huge portions, great value, excellent quality. Moneecia is simply the best. Best fried okra I've had since I was in the south. Had the cheeseburger - juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. My wife had the gyro. Excellent flavor and the tzatziki sauce was great too. The side of fries were some of the best we'd had in a while - lightly battered and seasoned with garlic salt.
Best compliment I can give is that we didn't need to add anything not provided on the plate.

We look forward to trying more options next time at Moneecia's Kitchen.

My boyfriend and I were looking for something to eat pretty late at night. We walked in at 1040p.m. and she closes at 11p.m(I know, rude. We were starving). Not only did she gladly take our business, she went above and beyond to ensure our food was fresh and delicious. She was warm and welcoming and happy to chat with us about the inspiration behind her delicious food. Possibly the best burger I've ever had. If you're looking for something fast, go to McDonald's. I don't say that as a discount to her business by any means. Fresh and delicious food isn't supposed to be fast. It's well worth the wait. We'll be back and spreading the word!

Went there for the first time on a recommendation and I was not I repeat not disappointed! The gyros were wonderful and the fries were off the chain!!!! What a nice bunch of people that are running it . I will definitely be back for more. First time here and got the gyro. I'm pretty picky with my gyro but I will definitely be back. Big juicy, perfectly cooked meat, at an extremely good price. They could go up 3 or 4 bucks on the gyro sandwhich and it would still be more than worth it. Better than most authentic Greek restaurants that serve gyros. It will be a new go to for me here in the Grove. Give it a try.

I do want to start with the fact that logistically some things went awry that caused a pretty severe delay. That said, everything else more than made up for it. She was super apologetic about it and compensated by giving us a ton of extra stuff w/o my asking for anything.

The food was great. There was a lot going on in the gyro burger which I think was a fusion of a gyro with the kind of burger you'd get a Red Robin or something like that. It was pretty good and my family all liked it too. The gyro sandwich was more traditional and also good. Portion sizes were very generous.

The funnel cake fries were awesome. I would definitely go back.

TLDR: Get the butter beans! Gyro burger is HUGE and delicious, the fries are the BEST in Cottage Grove, and Moneecia is an absolute treasure!

My wife and I just found out that this place was opened so we scrambled together a last minute order and we will most definitely be back! We got to try the butter beans, sweet potatoes, collard greens, gyro burger, french fries, chicken salad and funnel fries. Absolutely everything was worth getting at least once, and the beans and fries stood out as the most impressive.

Poor Moneecia lost everything in her cooler before we came so we didn't get to try the cobbler but we will most definitely be back to try that and more next time!

We ordered food online and at first it said it was ready in 20 minutes. When I got there, they were still working on it, almost an hour later. But that's beside the point, because it was totally worth it! It was only two people working and making everything fresh! The food was great! The gyro meal was so flavorful and plenty of it! My husbands double cheeseburger was amazing he said, fries had a nice little kick to them! We got a free cheeseburger because they realized that we didn't get to choose what to put on our daughters kids burger. We had a big order, and the guy helped carry it to my car and apologized for the wait.
It's new and they are still getting the hang of things, im sure it'll get even better!

My son had been waiting for Moneecia’s Kitchen to open. With a day off school, he noticed they were open, so we stopped in to place carry out. He ordered the Gyro Burger, and I ordered a Philly Steak Sandwich with spicy peppers. Both were excellent with large portions. The fries were made fresh and had a unique, savory flavor. We also got an order of Fried Okra, reminiscent of some of the catfish houses I have visited in the south. The menu is different than other options in Cottage Grove. This is a new restaurant, so be patient with preparing the food. It is worth the wait. Unfortunately, there is not much seating for dining in. I definitely suggest giving Moneecia’s a try.
