This is the first and only bad review I have ever written. A few months ago a friend and I went there for lunch - we were seated and then completely ignored. Never given a menu, never asked for drinks, etc. A group of four came in and sat right next to us and they were immediately served and given menus - I looked at the waitress and gestured and was ignored. we just got up and left. So, to give them a 2nd chance we stopped again with a group of 9 people. We were served drinks and our orders were taken promptly and then we sat for an hour and 15 minutes never being asked if we wanted more drinks or water. We had to go to the bar to find the waitress just standing there to ask for drinks. The food came out an hour and a half later - it was all barely warm - the bun on my cuban was burnt black - those who ordered tater tots were served tater tots that were fried from the bottom of the bag and all clumped together. The onion rings were soggy and cold, the appetizers were the same. Service horrible, food horrible - the only thing good was the view of the lake. None of us will never go there again. Oh, and like writing a bad review as a first for any of us, it was also the first time any of us never left a tip! (Oh and they refuse to split the bill among us)

Good food is a hit or miss. The tables of 6 all stated that it was worse Chili anyone ever had. It was meat and cinnamon. The all you can eat Fish Fry was great. The food came out very slow and tables had to ask for their food order that came out very slow and staggering one plate at a time.

VERY UNSATISFYING FOOD! My husband and I both ordered the Friday All-You-Can -Eat Fish Fry. He ordered the fried fish. I ordered the combo (one piece fried and one baked). We both received two pieces of fish (1” wide x 3”, MAYBE 4”). The wait for our food seemed extreme (25 mins). Mine was barely warm so I sent it back to the kitchen, and I waited and waited and waited. In fact, my husband was done with his fish and had ordered another piece before mine came to the table. Once again, mine came barely warm, but I decided to just eat it rather than wait so long again. My husband’s extra piece of fish never came. This is not All-You-Can -Eat! It’s a total rip off.

Oh my God!Amazing place we ate at the Woods Edge restaurant and let me tell you there food is flavorful, seasoned, and made perfectly. So darn good. Seriously our new best restaurant in the Northwoods. The environment is beautiful inside and out. Service with a smile and very attentive.. Love this place! Definitely a MUST STOP when in the Northwoods!

Only ate the food, didnt stay in the rooms. Our server was new and she did great! Food came out nice and hot. If you want to avoid the crowd, get there before 5pm. Only downsides, no pool table, and gravel drive in. But that comes with the location being so beautiful.

While this place is tiny compared to a lot of campgrounds it is cozy. We camped in the orchard. If you're expecting tree cover this isn't the place It's very open. Electric and water worked fine. They had bait and ice and wood for sale. Where it went wrong was the bathroom. They have one single camp bathroom and while I don't expect hotel-level cleanliness. I wasn't happy with how they weren't maintained. Showers are $3 but when I went to use one of the showers it didn't work. No biggie went and got a refund but then I used the other shower and it had ice-cold water. By Sunday the toilet paper rolls were empty as well. The bar and staff there are friendly drinks are good.

I'm not sure what kind of cooking most people are used to but we had a white fish sandwich and beef brisket sandwich. AWFUL!! There's a reason the last two times I've been there that the dining room is empty. Brisket is supposed to be juicy and melt in your mouth not thinly sliced green jerky on a bun that was stale. Mc Donald's makes a better fish sandwhich. And it was my birthday dinner. I got a free drink technically the whole meal shouldve been free. And we were ignored by the bartender who I believe was the owner when we sat down at the bar. I really don't even want to give it one star it's not worth a half a star, but have to give it a rating.

I camped here with some friends and had a great time. Wonderful clean campground. There are decent/clean shower house and laundromat.The food and service were awesomeat the bar. We were able to meet the owners, and they are amazing people. I'll be proud to wear my Moose Jaw hat. Can't wait to come back next year.

Went here to catch the nearby ATV trail and then stopped in afterwards for a bite to eat. This place is awesome in terms of supporting ATVs. We were there in October which is past the busy season and a great time to ride. We noticed the cabins, their own mini-golf course, the shower house, the bar and restaurant and also their access to the lake! They also support RVs here too! I imagine it is very busy in the summer! We had a nice view of the lake while having our food and there servers and bartender provided great service!

We just enjoyed the new Saturday special at Moose Jaw, smoked ribs. I have never had ribs this delicious in my entire life! Perfectly seasoned, very tender without being mushy. I chose the baby red mashed potatoes, which were amazing! Included sides were cornbread, coleslaw and beans. Service was excellent, and the breathtaking lake views made for a perfect dining experience.

They have a new fish fry which is totally excellent! It's AYCE haddock filets/loins with fries or potato salad, Cole slaw, bun, and beans for $17.

Great atmosphere. Jason and Ali the bartenders are the best so drinks are great and service is impeccable. Family owned and operated.

I'm not sure if you can still get their original AYCE cod but you'll love the haddock fry more so go for it. I'm pretty sure that I saw that the first Friday night they offered this new fry, they sold out!

So hurry out there and get yours.

We haven't stayed here but we have used the laundry, playground, and restaurant for years when we come out to the area. The bar/restaurant is good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but sometimes the service is a little slow. The laundromat there is clean and almost no one is ever there. There are only 3 washers and 2 dryers but usually that's just fine for us. You can visit the restaurant or do mini golf while you wait. Very quiet, friendly area. I randomly ran into a couple and their dog one day, and later on, I found out they were the new owners. Never once did they even mention it! I thought that was cool they weren't trying to show off...lol. Nice people!

Pretty good food, some of the best pizza I've had in a long time, very good Cuban sandwich, and ambiance was great.
Service was lacking with a French dip sandwich having no dip, missing fries and potato salad instead, water always empty and when asked twice was delivered to the other end of the table, not checking on table and only focusing on new tables, had to flag waitress down every time from after food delivery till check, etc. It just was the typical very small town lack of experience and not really caring as they should.

Overall it was a good time and we played games on the arcade, bought local homemade maple syrup, drank, laughed, and ate good food. That makes up for a lot of service deficiency and if you are familiar with Northwoods service it's not far from average. 🤣

The only reason I’m giving it a 4 was for the price to stay. It cost me $35 a night for a primitive camp site, no water or electricity. I felt like this was steep.

That being said, Jason, the new owner, is extremely kind and was very accommodating. The fish cleaning house was very convenient, but it could use some work. Live bait on site. Firewood on site. I would consider staying here again! Thanks Jason!

Restaurant: can't get meat cooked to your preference. Waitress should tell cook customer wants it that way. All well done...flavorless (burger). Onion rings over cooked...bland. pulled pork was good, not great. Sauce was good. Chili was cold and came at the exact time as meal. And we had to ask for it. No desserts is crazy in Wisc. We've been stopping here for 3 years when we come up to the cabin! Service has always been good. This weekend was terrible. We've been here when it's been busy before and it's usually an hour tops before we get our food. We waited 3 hours and it was the same busy as previous visits!!! We should of left it was absolutely ridiculous. Waitress was nice. My friends were up here last weekend and waited 2 hours for food. So we gave it a second chance. Hopefully they can find help or figure something else out or people will stop going. It will be a while before we go here again. On a positive note the food has always been good. Will follow up with our next time visit.

This one star review has a for the restaurant. New owners late 2022, service was horrible. Have been coming here by snowmobiles for years, but after the last trip, we’re not coming back. There were two waitresses & 1/2 a dining room full, but we waited an hour for our food, and after 1 hour, we left after telling our waitress “we can’t wait any longer”. We were a party of 6 people, sadly that’s a big loss for them.

We were out snowmobiling. Ran across this place because they had gas. It was late in the date early /evening . Went inside and was impressed with the lodge look. New owner was there,she was very nice. We didn't want to quit riding yet but we did. She set us up with a cottage that was clean and had a home backwoods appeal. We settled in and went back to the lodge to get something to eat. Long story short we were there till it closed. All the help was very polite and friendly. So if your ever near park falls look this place up. You won't be disappointed. I know my next time up,we will be going there..

Stayed in the Coyote Run. They should have let it burn when when the water heater caught on fire previously, which is fairly obvious from the damage to its siding. DIRTY. NO HEAT. Want hot water? Well it’s not here. Told the owner and they made absolutely no effort to rectify. I understand the Coyote is privately owned and Moose Jaw just passes the transaction, but they should be ashamed for the way this rental represents their resort. Don’t believe the pictures. They were obviously taken years ago.

We came here for the restaurant. It's very nice and rustic. The view is amazing. It's off season so very quiet but still had a full menu available. They have a lot of possible varieties of sandwiches that can be ordered as either a hamburger or grilled chicken. We had the pizza which has a nice thin crust and very good. The French dip my friend said was good and the yummy Cuban with lots of filling including home made pulled pork. There was just one server/bartender that did an amazing job of taking care of us.

Awesome campground with amazing owners. Beth and Ed (owners) are some of the nicest people my Wife and I have ever met. My Wife is a travel nurse and we decided to camp there for her contract. Beth was able to accommodate us for the entire stay even during the busy season. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us with my Wife's contract so we couldn't stay the whole time. On top of the owners, each and every single staff member we encountered was as nice as could possibly be. The campground is about as quiet as possible at night and being a little further out, the amount of stars you see if unbelievable. They go above and beyond to help their guests in any way they can. Very convenient to any amenities you need. If we happen to be in that part of Wisconsin again, we will absolutely try to stay there and I would recommend anyone looking to Camp/RV/Cabin in that area to do the same.

Been goin here for many years. This year, I don't know what happened, but the 'boss lady' made things real uncomfortable. She was nothing short of rude, made people feel like we all were inconveniencing her for being there. However, the young fella, maybe her son, was definitely trying to pick up the pieces. Kudos to you young man! The chili was horrible, but the typical cheese curds, chicken fingers and fries were great.

I grew up going to Moose Jaw was always a wonderful place to go off of the trails I've brought my snowmobile club and for everything Club up north and stayed at the resort I brought my wife up for the first time and we were kicked out of the bar for walking in without a mask we had them but we're straight up checked out rude bartender

Snow mobile trails and ATV trails come right into the property. Located on a 4 lake chain which offers excellent fishing and water sports. Can't say enough good about the place.
