I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. & Mrs. P’s Eatery — both their restaurant and their catering services are exceptional.

My parents have used them for years to cater a wide variety of events and have always raved about the food and service. I’ve been lucky enough to attend several of those events myself, and every experience has been consistently outstanding.

So when it came time to plan our wedding in Green Lake, Wisconsin, I knew immediately that I wanted Mr. & Mrs. P’s to cater. They are, without question, the best choice in the area.

Their restaurant dishes — from breakfast to lunch — are always flavorful and perfectly prepared, but their talents extend far beyond the eatery. With their high-end catering expertise, Kathy, Kim, and Joe helped me design the most incredible menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a stunning, full-length cake that Kathy absolutely knocked out of the park!

Our tasting day was almost as much fun as the wedding itself — I was overwhelmed (in the best way possible) by how many delicious options there were. Everything they create is not just food, but an artful, memorable experience.

Our guests — many from Milwaukee and others from across the country and abroad — couldn’t stop talking about the food. Even several of our other vendors from Milwaukee asked for Mr. & Mrs. P’s contact information so they could recommend them to future clients.

The entire team is warm, welcoming, and truly the best of the best. I absolutely adore everything about this place — their passion, creativity, and quality shine through in everything they do.

Best breakfast in the northwoods. The bacon is thick cut and made to perfection and the Boom brand coffee is a step above the usual. We normally visit on Sunday morning, so there is usually a wait, but they do a great job of managing the flow of the dining room, so the waits are usually short and totally worth it.

Pretty decent. The white chocolate macaroon mocha was great! I don't usually order soup, but I'm so glad I did! The potato leek was delicious! Great flavor. The country skillet was average. I'm not a huge fan of the really small potatoes and they really loaded on the mushrooms which became the dominating flavor. The desserts in the case up front looked very tasty but I didn't order any. I'd go back and would just order something different.

Excellent food. Variety of seating options- counter, table, booth. Everything prepared under the watchful eyes of, and much directly by the owner, “Mr. P.”. Open Wednesday through Sunday, closes at 2p each day. Special the past few weeks is amazingly good blackened salmon served on a bed of garden fresh beans, accompanied by cilantro micro greens, sweet corn. The French fries are home cut, double fried. The food came out very fast and was the best breakfast I have had in a very long time! I got the lobster Benedict. The eggs were perfect, the hollandaise was creamy and delicious, the English muffin was cooked to perfection (I feel that other restaurants usually serve a sad and undercooked English muffin with Benedict’s). The lobster was fabulous. The breakfast potatoes?!? So good! Crispy and delicious. The best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had.

My husband loved his skillet and his toast with homemade jam. The mudslide coffee was delicious and made me sad that I quit drinking caffeine.

We will need to come back! So sad this place is so far away from home. 😩

I have to say when I go somewhere to have breakfast, I am very skeptical about spending a lot for breakfast, but this place is great and affordable. The staff was friendly. The food was great! I had 2 pancakes and a side of corn beef. Went with another couple and they didn't complain either. Everyone was a member of the clean plate club. Whenever you are in Ripon, I highly recommend 👌

Best breakfast around! My wife and I drive from the Oshkosh area just to get breakfast here several times a year. My wife just loves the lobster eggs benedict and I love their skillets. Excellent coffee as well. Waitstaff are prompt and friendly. I love that we can see the cooks working from the dining area. They work their tails off and are the stars of the show. We really love this place and recommend it to anyone.

My husband works for performance foods. He told me we have to come and try the food. (Plus pick up some pies) That I was gonna love it. He knows me very well because I’m a foodie. Plus I just had a baby and looking for good nutritious food! Well we walked in and let’s start off with how packed it was in side. You could tell it’s a well known and beloved place. We got greeted and sat down right away. We got our coffees and water! Then we ordered. Our server was super sweet! That’s always a plus. I order the curd burger. It was so good! It was also super massive. Which honestly for the price I think is one hell of a deal. All the veggies to put on top were super fresh as well! My fries weren’t the frozen kind which makes me super happy. They were fresh cut and good! You don’t see that as often. I’m overall super happy with this. My wife and I have been going here for the 3 years we've lived in Ripon for what ever reason they decided to start making us wait until all our guests have arrived, making us just stand there by the door. The first time this happened we had a large group so I kind of understood but today there was 4 of us, my wife and I arrived and once again she said we had to wait until the other 2 showed up. Now, all tables seat 4 or more and some had only 2 at them so why make us wait? We only need 1 table regardless not to mention I have neuropathy in my legs and I shouldn't stand for long periods of time. I just don't get when I need 1 table whether it's for 1 2 3 or 4 people it's still 1 table. If there is a next time I will tell them 2 no matter how many are coming!

How you ask? Well, it is worth driving 40 miles to have their delicious variety of professionally prepared foods.
I found Mexican cuisine I never would have expected to find in this restaurant.
The waite is exceptional and very attentive with a very positive attitude.
German polka music 🎶 brought back memories of visiting Germany 🇩🇪 😀.
I asked for coffee, and the size of the cup was, well, Big like everything is big in Texas, my home state.
Did I mention that they have a bakery that has excellent tasting 🥧,cookies, and totally different baked goods you don't find everywhere.
I have yet to leave without taking home leftovers or baked goods.
Ripon WI has one heck of a restaurant, and it was worth driving 🚗 there on a growling stomach.

When entering the restaurant I didn't know what to expect. The outside of the building was nothing special. Then I walked in. It was larger than expected. The atmosphere was inviting and warm, with a country home feel, complete with two fireplaces. When entering you see a case with beautifully made deserts and confections.
The menu has beers and wines. But no liquor. There was an exceptional coffee menu, I opted for a latte (which was 100 times better than Starbucks). My mother ordered a beer based bloody mary.
They have daily specials that continually change. And a vast menu including breakfast and lunch items. (I could not decide on one thing to order, so I ordered two sides and three entrees). Taking alot of it home for left overs, and splitting them with my mother. The serving sizes were larger than I expected.
The Ruben sandwich was delicious with a tangy 1000 island dressing. If you get the chance I suggest the Cheedar Head Fries as an appetizer. And the one item I wasn't sure about and decided to order last second was the Spinach and Feta Mac & Cheese, OMG it was the best thing ever!
Our waitress was friendly and a pleasure to talk to and very helpful. In fact all the employees were wonderful! It was nice to go out to a place where you can see, hear and feel that everyone there was enjoying their jobs.
The restaurant is open 5 days a week, Wednesday through Sunday 7am until 2pm.
