Can’t wait to go back - absolutely delicious. Come hungry, because the portions are big. Awesome addition to the downtown area, and love that they are open late.

The wraps and bowls are delicious! Service was very good. I would definitely go back. They're a bit pricey, but I'm a big eater and I left quite full. So you could easily get two meals out of one wrap!

Food was finger lickn. I did order the Alley gator which I personally thought was "soul food" in a wrap. Great job guys!!! Looking forward to more bites.

I had the Equip Sunglasses, my daughter had the H.A.S.H., and we got a side of tots. We went during the Art festival, so they were a bit busy, but the service was still quick and everything was well constructed. The tots were really crispy and delicious. My daughter enjoyed her wrap, which is a positive, as 7-year-olds can be a bit picky. My wrap was okay. The chicken was flavored well, I enjoyed the pickled onions, and the wrap itself had a lovely texture. Still, something was a little off, like too many competing intense flavors were happening with the bleu cheese, peach hot honey, and Thai basil aioli. All the flavors individually were good, but together with the amount of greens in the wrap they were just a little overwhelming. I did enjoy the atmosphere. Our bench by the window was a bit wonky, as anytime we moved the bench would come up in the back, which was a little strange. Not very solid. I will try this place again as it is a fun new place to have downtown, and the food is unique and unlike other options.

The Juluis(Caesar) wrap was so disgusting I cannot put it into words. The Caesar dressing smells like rancid fish. Me and my lady both hated it and didn't eat more than a few bites. Our dogs did like it though. We ordered through Doordash the fries and tots might of been ok if they weren't cold. The disco biscuits were the best part and they are average at best. I would usually try a place twice but not this place.

Such excellent vibes in this place. The name is absolutely perfect for this area. The artwork, memorabilia, and decor make this a must visit for anyone travel to or through Wausau. Megan, who took our order, was very informative on what to do around Wausau, and had great humor in conversation while waiting for our order. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I rarely give a rating this bad, but the meal I had was TERRIBLE. I had the Kriminal Tango which was supposed to have Italian beef, Au Jous, and giardiniera. The "Italian beef" was pot roast, not the traditional sliced meat the makes up a true Italian beef. Also, au jous should be thin, like a broth, but this was super thick like a GRAVY, also both were SO INCREDIBLY SALTY. No exaggeration, it was like they poured an entire salt shaker in. The tater tots were also very over-seasoned. The giardiniera was a good level of spicy that is the only positive thing I can say.

This is the place Wausau! We came for quick dinner and our expectations were blown away! This is not a normal wrap, this is a thought out wrap that’s been elevated to be an amazing dinner. We can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

I have been here twice now. The first time I waited quite a long time with hardly anyone here. By the time I got my food, they didn't even give me the right wrap. I had to wait another 10 minutes to get the correct one. The food is very salty as well. I don't mind salty foods much but I could definitely see why someone else would have a problem with it.
The second time, the food was ehhh. Not the worst I had but I definitely have had better wraps elsewhere. There was literally no other people in the restaurant, but my fiance and I had to wait over 20 minutes for one wrap for each of us.
My biggest complaint, which I didn't notice until the second time I was there, is that they cut the wrap in half, with the tin foil already wrapped around it. I found little specks of tin foil all over the inside and outer edge of the wrap. Who does that?!
Overall, save yourself some time, money, and speckles of tin foli from entering your digestive system, and eat somewhere else.

The staff was very friendly but the food was over salty. I had the #10 and couldn't eat it. My husband requested I order the #7 for him and what was on line menu and in the restaurant were not the same. They did remake his meal but it still was not what the online wrap stated.

Hands down best late night food in town. What a treat when the only other options are fast food or kwik trip. Loaded tots are 🔥 & the poke style tuna wrap absolutely rips. Mumble wraps 👌🏼 🏆

The #10 was overly salty, I couldn’t enjoy it. The shredded beef was of good quality, but the over salting ruined the dish for me. We did provide the feedback to a staff bc we would love to enjoy an improved version another time.

My husband and I recently had lunch at Mumble Wrap in Wausau and we were both really impressed! The staff was very friendly and ordering was quick and simple.
I had the Equip Sunglasses Wrap, and I thought it was very good! The food was fresh and the wrap was full of flavor. I am looking forward to stopping in again and trying something else!

Interesting options for wraps. We paid $40 for two wraps and fries. The fries were delicious. The wraps on the other hand came out just barely warm. I ordered the most popular rap and it was not good tasting. In my opinion, if I’m paying $40 for wraps, they need to be absolutely out of this world.

I have only been once, and it was very much a splurge meal. The staffer I interacted with was bright and bubbly and friendly. She made me feel welcome and appreciated as a patron.
I got a tuna thing as a bowl which is the same as a tuna poke bowl elsewhere. It was really good with a decent spice kick in the sauce.
I will try something else next visit because holy crap it was expensive for what I got. With tip I spend ~$30 for one a one person take out lunch.
The prices are the only reason this isn't a 5-star, and that's honestly probably more on me than on the restaurant.
I would just expect $24 for one dish to be more of a fancy sit down restaurant and to have more to it. Again probably just my own hangup.
They have redone the interior in a shabby chic style that I liked. Especially liked the touch of color on the pipes to the right of the counter. Good amount of seating without being crammed together.

37.00 for 2 wraps and fries...super expensive, thought fries were included....server lead us to believe they were included...should have asked..wraps were extremely poorly put together...fell apart when trying to unwrap the many layers of foil.....
We would like Townies back....

Really tasty well-seasoned food, good soda selection (including jolly good!) & could see myself trying multiple different menu items in the future! I also liked the decor and atmosphere. I’m not a fan of ordering sides separately, always seems like a cash grab, but that seems like that’s becoming more popular among a lot of restaurants so can’t knock ‘em for doing it as they establish themselves.

Staff was polite but gave me the wrong order. I was able to try two options but not able to finish either of them. One wrap was inspired by an egg roll but missed the mark. It was so salty, I could only take a few bites. The second option was inspired by vindaloo. Indian food is my absolute favorite so I was excited to try this one. Once again...good idea but poor execution. It tasted nothing like vindaloo. It was somehow overly sweet and extremely tangy like ketchup sort of. The wrap itself is also a miss. Very thick wrap so the ends are dry, doughy, and not pleasing. The price is a bit inflated for what you get. Serving size would have been adequate had the ingredients or overall quality been better but as it stands the price is too high. Staff was polite but there was any table service. You order at counter and take a buzzer to grab your own meal and once you're done you dispose of your own mess and clear the table. Even so, they still ask for tips. I know everyone does that but tip culture is getting obnoxious. This place has potential... I'll probably try it again eventually but not impressed as it stands.

Tried the Ranch Hand and The Big L Tots via delivery (right off Mumble Wrap website) $3.99 to deliver locally. Everything was presentable/fresh and large portions! Very unique wraps and some simpler options for picky eaters! The wrap material itself is very thick and durable and doesn't easily fall apart.
Would love to try them all! Keep it up! :)

Food was super good. When we initially walked in, no one helped us at the counter for close to 5 mins. Music inside was decently loud. Overall, it’s a fun spot with unique, good tasting food for the area.

This place has super cool vibes when you walk in. We were greeted immediately and our order was taken super fast and brought out quickly. Everything was also soooo clean.
Now the wrap, I got the Dash the Curry. That is the best wrap I have ever had. It was so well seasoned and warm. Just delicious. We also got a dessert style wrap that just put a bow on our amazing wrapped meal.
Absolutely delicious and plan to eat here again soon.

I really wanted to love Mumble Wrap—it’s a cool concept with a fun, memorable name—but unfortunately, the execution just isn’t there. Nothing on the menu feels like a fully developed idea. I tried four different wraps, and every single one had at least one ingredient that felt totally out of place, like it was trying too hard to be quirky or gourmet rather than simply good. There’s no cohesion in the flavor profiles—just a lot of noise.
Take the Ranch Hand, for example—the most enjoyable of the bunch. Even that one was thrown off by the inclusion of thick-cut “fancy” bacon that was hard to chew and felt like an inedible foreign object amidst otherwise pleasant flavors. Regular breakfast bacon would’ve been a more thoughtful and satisfying choice. As for the other three wraps (including the vegetarian one), they weren’t worth finishing. The veggie option felt like a sad, failed impersonation of Indian cuisine.
For the price point, the presentation was underwhelming. Everything came out on a single tray, with no individual plates—not even paper liners or dividers between orders (we were a party of four, and came up to the counter together). It felt messy and weirdly impersonal, especially when dining with others. The one functional container? A black plastic to-go clamshell that, ironically, can’t be recycled in most facilities since black plastic isn’t detectable by sorting machines. A disappointing oversight in 2025.
The vibes are ambitious, sure—but the food and service don’t deliver. With more focus on flavor clarity, basic hospitality, and sustainability, this place could be something special. For now, though, it just feels like it’s still in beta testing.

Open on Sundays, this new wrap place provided a good opportunity to enjoy a quiet lunch downtown. The venue was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The wraps were wholesome, delicious, and surprisingly filling, and the loaded fries were a nice treat. The kids wraps were a bit on the small side, but worked out okay with a shared side for two kids under 6. The restaurant is still connected to Malarkey's so patrons can enjoy drinks as part of the whole experience. I'm looking forward to more visits to try the other varieties!
