we had our son’s rehearsal dinner in the private room upstairs at the Next Door Pub Como. It was fabulous and we had a lot of out-of-town guests so we had an authentic Wisconsin fish fry and they loved it! The service was great and the atmosphere there is perfect for that kind of venue. They let me decorate and it looked really good.

Went there on a Sunday after a hot day at the beach and had a great time! The place was super busy but the service from the staff running all around was great! I have been going to Next Door Pub in Lake Geneva since I was a little girl,and I'm 62.So I wanted to try their new Lakeside restaurant in Lake Como...Husband got the ribs and were very dry but he never complains.I had a half pound burger & fries..asked for medium well and it came out raw...didn't notice till 3rd bite in and looked down & blood was just pouring out of the burger onto the plate.Needless to say I was mortified..but because I am a huge fan of the other restaurant I will give this Next Door Pub another try..could have been an off day.

We had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant, starting with being seated by a window with a beautiful view of Lake Como—such a peaceful and scenic backdrop for a meal. The windows appeared to be large sliding garage-style doors that likely open during cooler weather. What a fun experience that must be when the breeze comes through!

The menu was diverse with something for everyone, and I went with the salmon, which was absolutely delicious. They also had a creative and fun drink menu featuring mocktails, dirty sodas, and ice cream drinks. I tried the Purple Haze, a dirty soda, and it was so good! We were too full to try the ice cream drinks, but the flavors were so unique—we definitely wished we had saved room.

The only downside was the service. It seemed there was just one person working as both host and server, and while they were clearly doing their best, things were a bit slow. That said, the food, atmosphere, and view more than made up for it. We'd definitely recommend stopping in—especially if you can snag a seat by those big windows!

Let me begin by saying we come here regularly. We live in the area and love their pizza and food. Service is generally good.

Recently there has been a decline in customer service. After a long day of boating we came in for dinner with our kids and mother in law, for her first visit. I simply asked for another set or crayons from the lady at the front desk and she gave me some heat that they are running low or crayons. This is a business. They have never given us a hard time about such a simple request in the past. Customer secure is a huge thing for us and we will go to establishments that treat us well consistently. Not very happy about our last few visits here.

Great find! This place has it all! Really delicious food. Extremely reasonable prices for being in a tourist area. Wonderful service and oh so kid friendly! I used to love the brussle sprouts, get them at least a couple of times a week. But, recently I had ordered my beloved brussles once more, and it was a horror scene, nothing like I had known and loved, the meat was lighter than usual, and the portion size had seemingly more than halved, hopefully they will change up whatever they did and make them great again.

Whenever I visit family in Lake Como we always stop to drink here and typically the atmosphere and food is good, but I cannot get over the bar staff. They always seem so rude and bothered by certain customers. I’ve been skeptical of them but my last visit really solidified my feelings. An elderly woman passed out at the bar and the staff seemed bothered by her medical emergency. The owner of the pub, who has talked to us before, was visibly disturbed and upset by the woman’s presence- like she was disturbing his business. Witnessing this was horrific and I felt so bad for this poor woman as people idled by. I don’t feel comfortable supporting a business who does not care for their clientele- especially the owner.

Our first visit will DEFINITELY not be our last. We arrived a little after six on a Friday night (prime time). Was told it would be a 30 minute wait for a table. We were seated in 20 minutes. Our waitress was the perfect blend of fast, friendly, efficient but did not hover. I had the fish fry , my husband had the brisket grilled cheese. For sure my new favorite place for fish. The breading on the fish was crispy and super well seasoned, didn’t even feel compelled to put tartar sauce on every bite. The potato pancakes are worth the trip alone, fantastic. My husband’s sandwich was awesome as well. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked very good. Definitely got the impression no matter what you order you will not be disappointed. They have it all dialed in. Atmosphere is industrial/modern with a nice backdrop of the beautiful lake.

I’m very surprised by all the stellar reviews. I’ve been here several times over the past couple of years and have never been impressed. I keep thinking it’s going to get better and that it must have been an off night, but not so lucky. I’ve tried many items off the menu and for the most part, they are all sub-par bar food. I’m particularly surprised by all the pizza recommendations, as my experience is the complete opposite. It ranks close to the bottom for me. The service is hit or miss.

This is one of my favorites restaurants from my home town and one that I am excited to get food from every year when I come back to visit family sin e I moved across the country and don't get to enjoy it on the regular however, I am livid with how the prices have gone up and portions went down. I ordered an Italian beef because it's one of my favorite menu items but it is half the portion of what they used to serve for the 15 years I've been ordering this specific thing. So small that it angers me I paid almost 20$ for it after tip and I dont even want to eat it at this point because I feel robbed and disrespected. I will never order this again.

We ordered a pub club sandwich, small side salad, onion rings, and plain Caesar salad. Total $36+change. The Caesar salad was filled with the end of the salad,hard and bitter. We sit outside. Unfortunately, we sit pretty lower next to auto parking which we can't see front of lake at all. We urge them not allow auto parking in front of lake while we sit down outside. During cold weather, sure , absolutely allow parking in front. Just my 2 cents tip.

The newly remodeling interior is very nice. The food and service were good. The challenge we had was the volume of the music. Wayyyy too loud!!!
The group we were with were not able to have a normal level conversation during dinner. We will not be back for that one reason. Dinner is for great food and great conversation. We had good food and a hard time holding a conversation without saying "What, I didn't hear you...." a dozen times.

The place, now owned by Next Door, is gorgeous. Staff is friendly & fast, but our Margherita pizza was underwhelming, once we got it home. We’ll try them again, but for now, it wasn’t what we expected.
