The food is to die for. Besides being delicious the portions are enough to feed two. The Friday fish fries are out of this world! Norm's must be doing something right. His wait staff has been there for quite some time. The bartenders make great drinks. The one thing that could be change is the acoustics. The bar has vaulted ceilings but the dinning room does not. When the place is packed it's quite loud. With that being said, it surely doesn't deter anyone from having a good time with great food.

I came in for wimpy burger and when got the bill i needed explanation because of the charges. She tells me that the burger went up $1.00 because of the meat prices and can't get a burger that cheap anywhere including she didn't bother to tell the previous table or me about the price change. I asked to have them pay the $1 because I wasn't told and even offered to meet in the middle with answers both I don't know if I can do that

We were in last Friday and had a group of 10. We tried to call ahead but they don’t take reservations. We did have to wait about 30-40 minutes to all get seated. The dining area is small but the food itself makes up for it! Generous portions of fries on every plate. We got fish, burgers and grilled cheese and no one was disappointed with their food. They even came out with a cake since we were celebrating a birthday and sang! I don’t remember our waitresses name but she was amazing as well! The bartenders were friendly and served us drinks as we waited. Would definitely come back again.

this is hands down the best fish fry in the area. it gets busy, very busy- i and everyone i take there agree it is worth the wait. there is a wait for a reason, it’s the best! i laugh when i overhear karens and kevins complaining… like bro, go somewhere else you miserable… anyways haha! the other specials are good as well, i really enjoy the prime rib sammich when it is available. and when it gets cooler out the soup is on point! all of the bartenders and wait staff are great people and treat you right- tip them well, they work hard to try and keep the wait times down. as a local it has been and will continue to be my place to go. keep up the good work and thank you for your hospitality.

We came as a party of 16. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Norm's is located right on the corner of the intersection of County A and TT you can't miss it. It is part of a campground and located right on the ATV/Snowmobile trails and Wolf River. They have a large parking lot so parking is never an issue. It is a "typical" Wisconsin bar and restaurant so the two are open to each other. It can be a bit noisy so I don't expect a quite dining experience. That being said it does give a person a chance to meet others that are using the trails, camping, fishing or hunting nearby. They have a large dining area and the food and service is excellent. Their fish fry is great and the selection is huge. You can have fried or broiled as well as a nice selection of sides for those who are looking for a healthier meal.

We arrived at 4pm on a Thurs. afternoon because friends told us they serve dinner beginning at 4pm. The place was packed! I was with my elderly in-laws. We waited about 15 minutes by the sign "Please Wait To Be Seated" while the line grew behind us. Neither of the 2 waitresses even looked at us as they built served food and drinks to customers. Then as we were waiting, my husband went to the bar to get a drink and some guy "Bill" pushed his way ahead of me and put his name on the hostess list! 🤯 How rude! Another patron came to glance at the hostess list and asked if we "signed in yet". I said no and we've been waiting for someone to help us. She said he she was a "regular" and we should just sign in. I crossed off Bill and put our name down along with the people behind me and then wrote "Bill". The "regular" group of 4 took a table in the bar while we were standing at the bar. We had been waiting 45 minutes by then and the waitress brought them menus! I was floored. After the waitress took their order, I asked her if we were supposed to find our own table and she said "no, just sign in." After 1 hour and 5 minutes we were finally seated. We had looked at the menu for the last hour, so we ordered immediately. Those poor 2 waitresses were working really hard! Eventually a young girl came to hostess and wrap silverware at the plastic covered pool table. As we were waiting for our food a new waitress came over and asked if we had been helped yet. She was very friendly, but had no idea! After 45 minutes and our food finally arrived. It was very good but NOT worth the frustration or long wait times. We drove 40 minutes. I recommend avoiding this place.

Twas the 2nd day in June...My Birthday to be exact. Ma, Pa, and I decide to go on a trail ride in Pa's new Defender Max Limited with "Norm's Hollow Campground Bar & Grill" as our destination for a bite to eat. Arriving about 5-10 minutes before 6 pm we park on the West side and enter through one of(I think) three customer entrances(west,south,east)& find ourselves a tall 4 place stool-type table in the bar area, little did we know they close at 6 pm. Bartender politely explained they close at 6 then asked if we had plans on eating? We reply "Yes", she asks for beverage preferences promptly followed by said drinks then waitress soon after drinks arrive Politely asking if we are ready to order? Ma, Pa, myself all order the broasted chicken and it was delicious! Definitely recommend stopping and see for yourself if you are in the area.

This had the most backwards type waiting list for eating. As with every NORMAL bar and grill, if you are sitting at the bar, you are able to order food. Well not here! If you want to order any sort of food from the menu you have to get on a waiting list and wait for your name to be called regardless if you already have a seat at the bar and are okay with eating at that spot instead of an actual table because it's apparently "unfair" to those on the list before you. Which is the most ridiculous thing I or anyone I have told this about to have heard. So instead of getting more people in the door and making more money they would much rather just make people wait and wait and wait. And not to mention Mary (I believe that's what her name was) was very rude and would not even entertain the notion of letting me order food for just my kids so they didn't have to wait. Rude service, outdated and lack of common sense business practice....yeah, never going to this place again.

The food is delicious. However, the service left something to be desired. I don't like being critical of a business's service as I think it's hard for businesses now days (especially in this area) to find people who are willing to work, so with that said the few people who were working just couldn't keep up with the amount of people who were in this place. As I said, the food was delicious and generous in amount. Another unfortunate problem is that it's extremely loud in the bar and dining area (so normal conversation is almost impossible) due to the way the building was designed. So that coupled with the large group of people, this place attacts, it's hard to get fed quickly, and it's hard to talk while waiting, but once you get your food, it will be good! Overall, the good food outweighs the noise and the wait.

Went on a Friday night for a fish fry. Was recommended by the locals. Very busy when we got there. We were told 1/2 hour for a table, so we stayed. We did not get our food for 2 hours! By the time we got our food at 9:00 pm, the fryers must not have been able to keep up. My perch and bluegill had a mushy texture, and only ate a few bites. Others in our party said their chicken was OK, but they did not enjoy the fish, either. One person did like their scallops. Did not care for the potato puffs (one of the side choices). I am surprised no one in the area has potato pancakes. We might possibly try one more time if I can get there right at 4:00 p.m.
