We were seated in the back room which is fairly small, tightly packed, and very loud. We did have a table of 6 next to us who bordered on obnoxious at times which didn't help, but also, the room was cold, my beer was not, and my biggest issue is don't come and ask if we want boxes while we are still eating. I understand you have a limit on table time but that was 45 minutes in. Wait until people are clearly done eating.

I grew up going to the original North Shore and we decided to go there for the first time with clients. Our waitress was wonderful and pleasant. Drinks were not consistently made and my food was cold and one of the people I was with just asked if she could switch the risotto for mashed plans was told it was portioned out and could not! Okay! A few things we overlooked because it was busy! However, the icing on the cake is when the waitress approached our table and said they needed it and asked us to leave the table. We weren’t even sitting at the table an hour! How disappointing cold food and pushed out!

Food and beverages were mostly fantastic aside from the Oreo pie that was almost certainly from a box. We had a new server who was learning but she was good. My gripe is that the patio is not an acceptable seating area for a fine dining restaurant. The seating area is basically a fenced off area of the parking lot sitting close to the cars better suited to accommodate an overcrowded bar. It was a pleasant evening but the sun was very uncomfortably beating down on us with no shade. Once we got some relief in shade we were swarmed by flies and hurried out. A solid meal was soured by the atmosphere. Our experience was more deserving of 2 stars.

I would be happy to come back but will not be dining outside and I recommend management reconsider how they use that outside space or provide shade and fans to get the air moving.

Our first time there. Our server was very friendly. The only gripe I have is when he was listing off the specials, he didn't give us a price, and I forgot to ask. My wife got the Halibut, and I got the Kansas strip steak. Both were good but not 65.00 and 76.00 good. Next time, I'll try the ribeye for 38.00. Our steaks were over cooked we all ordered filet minion, but I don't think they were. The drinks are under served. You added more ice than liquor. The vegetables were blan and over cooked and the risotto was just blah and why would you have a paper napkin under the dish on the main plate with the steak the juice from the steak and everything else and then tried to mixed in with the food. Not impressed the only thing is it has a view of the lake the price of the food for the area is definitely overpriced there are other chophouses in the surrounding area that are cheaper and I think has better cuts of meat and better servings for the price. This is my first time here. I won't recommend this place to anyone.

Old Navy is a fun shopping experience. The atmosphere is bright with color and fad clothing for young and old. Mostly geared for the young. Try all the clothes on before buying. You might be surprised how it actually fits your body once on. You may save money and a return visit. Mostly, they are all upbeat young employees , but we all have a bad day at times.
I enjoyed Carol Cooper at checkout, closer to my age. She has been with Old Navy for 22 years . Carol deserves a raise with her patience and expertise with customers.

My wife and I reserve North Shore for date nights, birthdays, anniversary’s, etc. The food and drinks are always excellent and the service is phenomenal. Every reservation we’ve made has been on time and ready for us, even with a party of 12.

Some may take issue with the price, but most “higher end” restaurants/supper clubs(at a similar price-point) in the area can’t compete with the dining quality North Shore offers.

If you are looking for a relaxing dining experience, then I don’t recommend North Shore Chophouse. They have a very rigid one hour and fifteen minute time limit for sitting at a table, which I didn’t realize because my friend made the reservation . While the waiter was very attentive, he was rushed us through our meal and even tried to take my plate before I was done with my meal. At exactly 1:14 minutes into our dinner, the hostess made it clear we needed to leave but were welcome to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, there were no seats, so we had to leave. When paying over $50 a person, I don’t want to feel rushed. For that reason, we won’t be back.

I took my daughter on a daddy-daughter date because she wanted steak. Wow!! Not only was I impressed with the perfectly cooked petite filet mignon, but the presentation was impressive, and my walleye was outstanding! The chef came out and introduced herself, which was nice because my daughter got to see that the chef was a female. As she walked away, my daughter said, "she's really pretty." I told her she should have told her while she was here at our table. She would probably like to hear that. I told the waitress, and she praised my daughter for being sweet ...and then brought the chef back to our table. My daughter told her what she was thinking, and from the looks of it, it made her day. The chef set a great example, made a lasting impression, and is clearly great at what she does! I have worked for years in a restaurant, most of those cooking, and I was impressed all the way around.

Our waitress was attentive and very personable. If I was hiring for my own restaurant, I'd hire her and try to clone her! I had a pomegranate mule, and it was fantastic. I also want to suggest the lobster bisque, you won't be disappointed. What an excellent experience. This was my favorite restaurant growing up, and 35 years later, it is one of my favorites again! Just as many others have shared, the food was outstanding. Everything each of us ordered was very well-made and delicious. The drinks were just as great and worth the money. Regrettably, for the high price of the dinner bill, our table service was substandard. We were a party of four, arrived on time for a 5pm reservation, though our table wasn't ready. We happily had a cocktail at the bar while waiting, and weren't seated until after 5pm, which is meaningful to note.

We ordered appetizers right away, and knew what we wanted to order once those were brought out. We were rushed through ordering (cut off and interrupted mid-sentence). The chef came out after entrees were served to thank us for coming in and to ask how the food was. She did this for each table and was a very nice gesture; one that would be expected for the cost of the menu.

We ordered a round of drinks when dinner was brought out, and very quickly after eating and asking for boxes, we were brought the check without a mention of dessert. We had observed desserts go out to three other tables, all of which had been long seated before our party. We asked our server if we could order dessert and were told "I have a table after you, you can order dessert to go if you'd like" and quickly rattled off a few options. Certainly up to interpretation, yet it felt as though it was an inconvenience.

When making reservations online, they note table time is limited to an hour and 15 minutes. We were not at our table for more than 45 minutes, and after eating headed to the bar to finish our drinks. We agreed if the service was better, we would happily return... the food was amazing. It is worth mentioning our experience at the bar both before and after dinner was positive.

First time at North Shore with the new owners. We eat out a lot all over the country and we were very impressed. We love raw oysters and decided to start with a dozen. I want expecting much but they were very good and shucked perfectly. The mignonette was good with a similar flavor profile as they serve at Tempest (iykyk). We were surprised that we had to pay extra for cocktail sauce and horseradish (we didn't know there was a charge until we got the bill) but they were both worth it. Next we had the appetizer feature which was a whipped feta served with fruit, hot honey and crostini. We would go back just for this dish. It literally blew us both away. Don't skip this if it is available. Next was lobster bisque. Really flavorful with a nice chunk of lobster on top. For entrees we chose the halibut feature with a pea risotto and the strip with fried shrimp and risotto. The fish was wonderfully prepared. Steak was cooked to order but tough however the seasoning was spot on. We also got mushrooms and onions but I would skip those. They were not hot and overly salted. The risotto with the steak was perfect. I could have licked the bowl it came in. We sat at the high top tables and loved being able to look at the water. We have been to almost every supper club/ steak house in the state and this place ranks with the best. Make a reservation!!!!! We will be back

Some of the best food in the area, hands down. A great spot with a great team. Unfortunately, I can't recommend. For $200-300 a dinner they'll assign you times and run you through dinner like a horse race. Your salad practically comes on top of your entree and they even have asked to have desert at the bar. If you're going to pay that type of money, no sense in being rushed, some great other restaurants around. Hopefully management gets things back in check but sadly, I won't be back until I don't feel ran out of the place all while losing hundreds of dollars.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The staff was professional and accommodating. It was a nice touch that the chef visited our table half way through our meal. The waitress was attentive but not overly so. Our party of 4 chose 4 different options from the new winter menu and all 4 meals were perfection. I opted for the 8oz filet with a lobster tail. The steak and lobster both were done perfectly and were absolutely delicious. The side dishes of potatoes and asparagus were great compliments to the meal and also delicious. The other members of our party gave similar reviews for their dinners.
The prices were fair and about what I would expect from a quality chop house.
The only negative take away I have is that I thought the background music was just a little too loud. However it was Rat Pack music from the 50's so it was tolerable.
We were celebrating our friend's 80th birthday and we want to thank North Shore for helping to make it a really special day.

We were seated in this small awkward windowless back room table in front of a set of stairs and the kitchen door. There was a large 10+ party seated right next to us in this tiny room who were loud and rowdy. Also another larger party behind us, granted they weren't shouting at least.
Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but when your crammed in this small space with servers literally sideways shimmy-ing past your table, it's very suffocating. For the price we had anticipated to spend here we definitely expected a much more peaceful, quiet, and intimate atmosphere, and this ain't it.
Don't plan on coming back, regardless of the food quality.

Amazing food! My wife and I were recommended to come here so we celebrated our 5 year anniversary tonight and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.

We started with the bacon slab - HIGHLY recommend! I had the ribeye and she had the chicken piccata. Both were phenomenal. Our waitress was great as well. We were offered a free dessert for the occasion and had the NY cheesecake with caramel drizzled over the top. I’m somewhat of a cheesecake connoisseur and I’d rate it right up there with some of the better ones I’ve had.

The total bill before tip was just under $130 but I didn’t feel that was any worse than most other supper clubs and fancier restaurants worth their weight in Wisconsin. We’ll definitely be back and this place for sure lived up to the hype.

I had high expectations with my limited experience in high end places such as Ruth’s Chris and Johnny Ds and even Samba room in Madison, but my wife and I had a bit of a let down. I personally offered better service as a teen working at Nautigals.
Service: we reserved outdoor seating, and despite only one table being occupied, hostess seated us in the most obviously horrible table with direct sunlight glaring into our eyes, not covered by the awning. The server saw me taking with one eye closed and squinting the whole time we initially ordered drinks and didn’t think of the common sense to offer to move us, so I had to ask to move to a different table when she returned- which she had us carry our plates and napkins to ourselves. They appeared to be understaffed with clearly not high-end restaurant trained servers. We had dirty plates sitting at our table the entire time despite multiple staff walking past our table with empty hands, that weren’t removed until the check was offered. We were not checked on at all until the check was offered to be presented. The table next to us waited over 10 minutes for their wine, “because the bar is really busy tonight”, and my water glass remained empty, obviously, because our server either forgot or didn’t care. One of the forks in my napkin was disgusting and had food caked onto it, but server was oblivious as to why it was set to the side of the table and didn’t ask, nor remove it so it eventually wound up on a dirty plate to return.

The hummus plate appetizer was ok. The hummus was plain and almost tasteless, luckily my wife had a lemon with her iced tea that I squeezed in to give it some flavor and their were about 3-4x more veggies than available hummus.
I chose the chef special steak medallions (MR) with side of grilled asparagus on a bed of mashed potatoes with I believe a wine reduction sauce. The sauce and potatoes were excellent. The asparagus was alright, but a couple pieces were a little chewy. There were two steak pieces (not uniform thickness) one varied from medium to medium rare across it and the other was very rare with a minimal sear and it was way too chewy to be palatable.
My wife ordered the salmon on rice - she enjoyed her meal, but it didn’t blow her away any more than anything I make at home. The meal total was ~$80.

If the owners read this review, my wife does not like when I speak up at restaurants, so I apologize for not giving you the opportunity to make it right, if that’s what you would do, but I suggest you try pre-service huddles to train your staff a little better to reflect the high-end food you are serving. I had a gift certificate which covered most of my meal, but I don’t think I would be interested in returning even if you offered two free dinners and I’d just give it away to someone who wouldn’t know any better.

The food here is fantastic, best meal of my life literally I swear! Came here for my boyfriends birthday and his steak was a perfect seasoned medium rear. I had the lamb shank, it was delectable & tender 11/10 Amazing! I highly recommend!

We were in the area and googled restaurants to visit for our wedding anniversary. This place had the best looking menu, and I'm glad it did!! The food was fantastic--the bruschetta appetizer was amazing and our steak entrees (steak medallions and seared steak with gnocchi) were melt-in-your-mouth good. The steak was recommended at medium rare, which is a little more rare than I usual like, but I'm glad I took the suggestion. Our server, Jenny/Jeni (I don't remember the correct spelling!) was wonderful and personable. She gave excellent recommendations & accommodated us moving inside after some wasps kept bugging us. She even replaced our appetizer after the wasp was all over it. We also got a slice of cheesecake to go, which was delicious for breakfast the next morning. Super happy with our decision to go here, we'd love to come back!!

Our server went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations for every course. We both ordered the 14oz ribeye with asparagus and the parmesan risotto; all cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will be coming back!

Super cute supper club hidden away, but the flies were something else. I recently went here with a couple girlfriends to celebrate my friends birthday. We made reservations for the outdoor dining which is set up super cute. Prior to being seated we sat at the bar for a drink while we waited, and the bartender was extremely rude and standoffish. One friend asked a question about the special drink and she literally ignored her. Her was of speaking to us was agressive and like she was annoyed to be at work in general. Once seated outside the waitress was lovely. The outside was riddled with flies, which I know we can't control too much, however there didn't appear to be any type of deterrant used. The flies were landing in our drinks, all over our food and it honestly was so bad that I couldn't even finish my food because it was disgusting how many flies there were. So having said that, I will return but also dine inside next time. It is right by the lake and so with only a short walk through the parking lot, you can enjoy the lake view and take nice pictures.

After experiencing a meal here I would have to agree with Google's 4.8 rating. The bartenders were personable, friendly and efficient. They were able to carry on conversations and welcome newcomers all while slinging drinks. Once we were seated I ordered the lamb shank with a Caesar salad, my date had beef medallions with mushroom soup. Everything was very good however I found the Caesar to be mediocre at best. The service from our young waitress was excellent. She was very familiar with the menu and specials and unafraid to make recommendations. I would not hesitate to return and explore their other fare offerings.

Enjoyed another great dinner in Fort Atkinson at the North Shore. We had a wonderful server Jennifer that took care use. Started with the bacon slab as an appetizer which was delicious and then on to a perfectly done ribeye. Finished off with a banana cheesecake which was heavenly!!

The food was excellent and not expensive either. Wonderful service from Hannah and Jenny. I had Pike perch which is like walleye, and my wife had the Salmon. Mine was the fish fry. Very nice tartar sauce and interesting arugula slaw. Crisp and hints of sweet and tart. The corn fritters were a little bland but hot and crispy on the outside. I also had the corn chowder, which was delicious. A hint of sweet with good mouthfeel and a little spice to finish. Nice.
Both fish entrees were very good. The chutney on the salmon was an avocado pineapple blend with a touch of spice. Also excellent. My wife got risotto instead of the quinoa and then Asparagus as the veggie side.
Too full to eat dessert. Would like to come back for some steak.

First time here. Very impressed. Great food. Order the Bacon Slab if it’s on the menu for an appetizer. Wow!!! Service was great and very informative. Drinks were prepared proper. Will definitely be our favorite chophouse on the Kosh and in this area. Make sure you visit this place and bring your appetite.

Stayed in Fort Atkinson for the night during our cross country trip and found this place since it was by the lake and had good reviews. What a fantastic experience! The service was great and quick, the patio was nice and we could look at the water! We had our dog with us and since there are no dogs allowed on the patio, we parked near the patio and he could look out at us and be a good boy. Everything from the civiche to the cheesecake was fresh and delicious! We won't be back in town probably ever but if we are, we will definitely stop here again!

I have thought about this really hard, rarely do I give bad reviews. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was under seasoned and very tasteless. I actually had to complain and the executive chef came out and talked with me. Because of their clientele they reduce the salt seasoning. Which in fact killed the flavor of everything, salt and pepper were on the table.
The atmosphere and the service was great, it's right on the lake and even in the winter time it's beautiful. So sadly I gave it two stars, and that was eating the chef entree. I probably will not dine there again.
