I am only leaving a 5 star because of my deep respect for the work the turf team puts into places like this, and entire staff was very polite. I think this course is quite affordable for the above par quality you get. That being said, iv played out here a few times this year and the wait is ridiculous. This was my first time going back into the proshop to ask for a refund, and sorry to Andrew for the one having to take the heat. But I asked how far apart tee times are spaced. You told me 8 minutes. And expect groups to play 12-15 min. The 12-15 min is right on pushing play through, but you have groups of 2,3,4 you name it taking multiple shots from the same spot, and spending near 25 min per hole. A ranger could solve this, but I am more unsettled about the 8 minute spacing. You tried to make that make sense for me, but if you have tee times 8 minutes apart, and expect 12-15 minutes of forgiveness per hole, makes the math on this sound crazy. Someone tees off of 1, after 8 minutes theres somebody on the tee waiting, 8 minutes later group one finishes the hole, and now group 3 has arrived at the tee box. Most of these people want an entire hole between them and the next group, which they should, and whether you expect them to tee off or not, most of them are waiting until the group in front finishes the hole, not everyone wants to tee off into other people. Other than playing in some fun conditions, I have a hard time enjoying it out here, iv never seen a ranger, and the best you guys could do was give me a raincheck for 9 holes. Extremely disappointing and wish yall could do better. Amazing course, staff is spectacular, and sorry Andrew, I know policy is policy, but this many times in a row, and offering a rain check for 9 fells like a screw you, and we dont care. Super polite and understanding though. Just disappointing.

Love the golf course, the staff is wonderful downstairs in the bar and in the pro shop - amd the cart girls on the course as well!! Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful and we always have such a great time out there. The only complaint we have is that when we tried to dine upstairs one Saturday after the downstairs bar seating had closed, it was about 6pm, they told us there would be a wait - which is not a problem. So we waited at the bar with some cocktails...but after about 15 minutes, and seeing at least 15+ tables open, we chose to leave. We get wanting ppl to spend money at your bar - but dont make guests who just spent $200 on golf and drinks on our course wait for a table when its not necessary...other than THAT, we love this place and will certainly continue to return - we will just eat elsewhere if the downstairs bar isnt open...problem solved 💯

We had our family reunion (Kermis) at the Northbrook Golf & Grill. It was exceptional!!! Some notes of our experience:

Northbrook staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. Karen is the business manager and she made it happen.

The staff headed by Maddie excelled in providing the facilities and service and went beyond in their service and attention to detail. Very, very pleased with their care and service.

Food was excellent and the party trays and appetizers were displayed with great care and appeal. The broasted chicken was tasty and presented with great appeal at the appointed time in the dining room. Deserts were great. The cooking staff is great and provided quality tasting food. Northbrook Golf and Grill is highly recommended for future events.

Great after event comments from our family and friends in attendance.

Golf was great and the golf course was in excellent condition. A pleasure to play.

We celebrated Mother’s Day at Northbrook Golf & Grill in Luxemburg, WI, and we truly can’t rave about it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The scenic views were absolutely stunning—peaceful and picture-perfect, adding such a special touch to our time together.

The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Each dish felt like it was made to impress, and it absolutely did! But what really made the day unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and celebrated. It was clear they took pride in creating a beautiful experience for all their guests.

Northbrook turned our Mother’s Day into something truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back—and recommending it to everyone we know!

1st time we went, my husband and I both got the prime rib. It’s a top 2 of being the worst prime rib I have ever had. I sent mine back! My husband wish he would have sent his back.

2nd time we went, I got the Tenderloin. That I do recommend, very well seasoned and tender. I rate it a 8 out of 10.

3rd time, which was tonight we both got the Ribeye. I rate that a 4 out of 10. Tough meat and no flavor.

What a wonderful Valentine dinner! Steaks were perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. Salad bar is smaller, but had everything we typically want including blue cheese and beats! If there was anything, I'd recommend having bread at tables and I do love the lazy Susan with liver pate, cheese, and veggies. How does it compare to other supper clubs in area like Chalet or Billy's? We think Northbrook is better! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Went to Chef Nick’s Italian night last night. Tuscan chicken was delicious, fresh ingredients and tasty. Lasagna was a hit-sold out by 6:00. My husband had the Spicy Tuna Sushi bowl weekly special, very fresh and full of flavor. Chef Nick’s food is wonderful and will keep us coming back!

I was pretty disappointed on our last visit. I asked for a margarita which I have ordered from there in the past and was told they didn't have them. I'm not sure if they are only available in the summer or what? I was told there was no specialty drink menu. I asked a few questions about the menu and our waitress did not know the answers. I heard her tell another table she had been there a year so there really is no reason to not know the menu. Incorrect food was brought out to my husband despite it being entered electronically table side. Buffalo sauce is gross and needs to be changed out to something more appetizing. We will probably skip visiting here in the future.

We went for dinner. Don’t ask for rare prime rib as they don’t have it! They cook it the day before and you basically get what they give you! The waitress did try to fix it by giving a free dessert. My tenderloin was fine, but it didn’t look like a typical tenderloin, as it was more oval and thinner. The tuna was cooked perfectly, and the twice baked potato was yummy. The vegetable was broccoli, which you had to have as there was nothing to switch it with. We probably won’t return.

Played 18 holes. Holes 11 to 15 had to tee off into the sunset, hard to tell where the ball went. Beautiful course. Well maintained greens. The rough grass is about 4" so hit the fairway ok... Had fun and beverage cart came 3 times. We we're hoping for access to a restroom by hole 4. Only 2 porta potty by 13 and green on 7.

I really enjoy the course. Has some very challenging holes, and it's well taken care of. Good practice facility. The only issue I have, is that it can get really slow and backed up at times. I dont know if they're putting groups on in front of other groups on the course or what, but it shouldn't take 5 hours to play a round. Beverage service needs some training as well.
