I have had 3 breakfasts here in last two years and they were all very flavorfull and freshly prepared from scratch. the hangover hash I had yesterday was especially memorable. The customer service here was awesome with Abby. I've heard complaints, about other servers, but my party of 5 had no issues. Our server was patient, understanding and got everything we ordered right. The food was hot, drinks were cold and our coffee cups stayed full!
The food was delicious, we were given quite a bit of food actually and the prices were not outrageous.

When the place first opened (after Waynes cafe) We had excellent service, great food etc.
Last few times we went there we had to wait a lengthy amount of time before we were even acknowledged by a waitress.
This LAST and final visit (we crossed it off our list), we had a waitress, unsure of her name (older lady with a short haircut) had her the last 3 visits.
Two tables of people who came in after us and were waited on before we were even acknowledged. It was 16 minutes before we were asked if we wanted coffee or anything to drink. It was another 8 minutes before we got our coffee (forgot the water) After we finally got our food, the sausage patties were so overcooked that I couldn't eat them. they had the color of leather and couldnt cut them.
The other waitress have always been very attentive and good service in the past. this lady though. TERRIBLE SERVICE every time.
She is the reason we wont go back.

We've been going to Not Justa Diner since it opened on Hwy 8 and 35. We have gone to the Somerset and New Richmond Not Justa Cafe restaurants, and we have never been disappointed. Great food, atmosphere, and waitstaff. St Croix Falls' location is no different. It's just a slightly different name. I had breakfast, and it was awesome as usual. Remodeling was done inside and outside of the diner, but the men's bathroom was disgusting. And needs to be updated also.

I decided to order from here through Doordash for my lunch at work, as I've never tried their food. And now I deeply regret it, because I may as well have just thrown away my money instead. The Corn Fritters were the size of tatertots; they give you about 11 of them, so ends up being about a $1 a piece (way too expensive for the quality). The Fritters have an odd taste; might've been the oil they were cooked in, or a freezer taste? I couldn't place what caused it, but it was not good. The Chicken Salad was absolute garbage... About a third of the lettuce was half rotten (some is pictured, the rest I picked out as I tried to eat some of the salad), the tomato hunks were pretty much white; unripe, hard, and bland. There was about 2 cups of shredded Cheddar thrown on top, the (fried) chicken was gray in color and mushy textured (should've taken a picture of the chicken closer up, because it looks better in my pictures than it ACTUALLY was in person). And to top it off there was a chunk of BREAKFAST sausage randomly on the salad (see multiple pictures). They also never sent the ranch dressing that was ordered with the salad even. Please, please, please, do NOT waste your money here. Anyone can cook better than this! If they can't even do a pretty basic/average salad well, I don't want to ever find out what the rest of the food is like. I was hopeful for this place but unfortunately I will never eat from here again. (Luckily Doordash at least refunded the salad.)

Absolute garbage from start to finish. I had honestly not heard great things but figured I'd give it a shot myself. What a mistake. I got a side of sausage links, they were essentially microwaved Jimmy deans links. I got the Mexicanomelet, raw on the inside to the point i dumped the excess runny raw eggs onto a seperate plate, hashbrowns were also not cooked. When I brought this to the servers attention she ask if I had wanted them crispy, nope just wanted them cooked. She took my omelet plate to go remake but I informed her that I wasn't interested to which she said she would check if I could get it taken off bill. Thankfully she got it taken of. She had an attitude from start to finish as well. All in all just a poor experience I wouldn't recommend to an enemy let alone a friend. Just awful!

We were passing through Friday on the way to the cabin and needed dinner. I had the Greek salad, my husband ordered the fish special, my daughter had a pancake & my son had a fancy grilled cheese. My salad was huge with lots of tzatziki and fed 2+ people. The fish was not very good but the potatoes were just like grandma makes. You only need 1 pancake because it’s platter sized. Been up here 5 years now. Converted this local diner to a Not Justa. We were looking forward to that as all of the other Not Justas in the area have great food. 1st visit was good. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Today… absolutely the worst I e experienced. We went with the “Special”. Biscuts and sausage gravy. Initially came out with rock hard cold biscuts. Sent that back, next they came out with hot biscuts BUT. Their biscuts were all well overdone on the top and still hard, they were obviously out of a can and not even quality ones and the sausage gravy was not at all Pork sausage. Whatever meat it was very grainy. Most likely Turkey sausage. What’s sad is this is only a 5 min drive and if anything the food quality has gone downhill since it became a Not Justa. We should have made the hour drive to Perkins or Village Inn

Maybe they were having a bad day, but....it took at least 20 mins to have a server come to our table. We put our order in. By the time the food arrived, we had been there an hour. As for the food...my breakfast of country fried steak and scrambled eggs was...was...well..everything tasted burnt. The eggs were like rubber and the steak was 'crispy'...crispy to the point where it wouldn't cut but would break under the knife. I just wanted to pay and get out! My good friend Jim Larson was in there over the weekend. Waited very long as most tables and booths were filled with dirty dishes. He asked POLITELY if somebody would please clear the tables or booths so he and others could sit down The weekend staff and cook cussed and swore and kicked him out.
