Stumbled upon this hidden gem while taking a road trip. Absolutely beautiful location! Our waitresses, Jenni, was phenomenal, very polite, did a great job with our order and couldn't have asked for better service! Well done young lady!! We started with 2 Bloody Mary's that were the best we've had in a long time The menu made it difficult to make a choice. The good news is we will definitely be back to try more of their options because the food was perfect! Best experience we have had in a very long time.

After a long day on the water, the family and I were starving. I have a family of six, and there was more than enough room at our table. The kids had macaroni &cheese with chicken strips. The wife had a seafood quesadilla entry “Harbor Quesadilla” which she couldn’t eat because the portions are large. I had a bacon cheeseburger & fries. Drinks were great! The kids had doggy bags because their eyes are bigger than their stomachs. Portion sizes are great. Great place to eat after fishing with the family. The owner is awesome! The restaurant staff is great! Some local fishing guides stop in there after their trips as well. Thanks for being awesome I appreciate it!!!

We did kayak trip through Oconto and finished up with a dinner at the Dockside.
Both of us were very pleased at how good the meal was. There is also a separate bar area with some dining table. However, we chose the main dining room. It was comfy and cozy.

We were seated beautiful view. The appetizer of bang bang shrimp was really good and so were the rolls. The French Onion soup was sent back tasted like bath water. My dish was good but my husband's fish was dry as can be which I expected after waiting over an hour for our main course. When my husband mentioned how long we waited it to the manager when we were leaving she had to ask her bartender if that was true making it sound like my husband was a liar. The prices are way too high for this low quality of food. We won't be back. I'm thinking this place gets good rating because there aren't many other places to eat in this small beautiful town. Get a good restaurant in this area.

Went there without a reservation on a Saturday evening. Oops! BUT...it was worth the wait. Food was incredible. They have a nice selection of beer on tap. AND most importantly, as they were understaffed that evening, the courteousness of the staff and their friendly demeanor made it a great evening!

Was a regular between 2016 and 2020 and loved Dockside. Seafood mac, calamari and fish and chips were always stellar. Was back through town and went for some calamari and seafood mac and was terribly disappointed. Seafood mac was soupy and the cheese sauce lacked the depth it used to have and the shrimp was a strange texture. Calamari was definitely overcooked and you no longer get the little tiny whole squids that usually are so delicate and delicious. Maybe I just caught them on an off day but I'd be afraid to go out of my way again to try it.

What a find for me! My friend and I found the food just excellent! And I mean excellent! I ordered cod with seafood blend over it, and not only was it delicious, there was a good variety of seafood and lots of it! My friend ordered Shrimp Mac n' cheese, and it was also deemed excellent. I spoke to 2 men leaving as we entered as to what they would recommend. They said, "Everything is excellent." they were enthusiastic as they shared what they ordered and how good it was! ( Cuban sandwich?) Service was casual but sincere. ( A young man who later apologized for removing his flannel shirt covering as if it was a sport coat or uniform !😅 probably was !) Lake Side decor with a unique row of very old church pews as seating down the middle of the restaurant. Very good Old Fashioned drinks. We were there around 7:30 p.m. on a Thursday, so no problem getting a table and service. Otherwise a reservation may be necessary. I don't believe anyone will be disappointed. Located on the west side of the Bay of Green Bay. I only wish I was closer!! Oh...also wonderful sweet potato fries !!👍

Started off good, they told us to make ourselves comfortable, but, the moment they gave us the menus, they didn't give us more than 10 seconds to order our drinks before asking if they should come back (there were only 3 tables occupied other than ours that I could tell). They visited our table just the one time, attended the other tables several times before even giving us our drinks. I got a dirty look from the waitress, waited 10 more minutes, no drinks still, so we left. The best part is the rude waitress coming out to our car to ask us with attitude why we were leaving when we didn't even get anything!

I give Oconto Dockside 4.5 stars. A Very busy place. Have a reservation. The food here is delicious. We started with a blooming onion or whatever they call it. It took a while to get it, but it was worth the wait.
4 of our group ordered smothered haddock and I ordered the seafood quesadilla. Wow fantastic, and how huge. More than I could eat at one sitting, leftovers for tomorrow, partly though from eating the onion.
The atmosphere gets 3 stars because of the noise. It was very loud and I had a hard time hearing.
Our server was very busy but tried very hard to keep us satisfied.

First off, we were greeted rudely. "Can I help you?" Is this a restaurant? Are there other options at a restaurant?
We came based off the pictures on this page. Most of the food pictured is no longer served there.🫤 My husband ordered perch of which came fries that were soggy and fish the same. It must have been sitting out for some time and stuck under a heat lamp or microwaved to reheat. 😮 I ordered the Mediterranean chicken. I had a beautiful side salad, soup, and my main was 5 asparagus and a lg chicken breast with sauteed spinach and grape tomatoes. Overall my food was good. But the flavor of the chicken was mild. I gave my husband my soup, crackers and roll otherwise he would've been much more disappointed. With the prices so high they seemed to have an upscale menu. But the food is a family restaurant quality. Consider changing your prices so we won't be disappointed when the food comes out like that.

Cute and quaint, across the street from the boat landing. We enjoyed outdoor seating that was dog friendly, and they even brought him out a dish for water. Nothing too fancy yet a very nice quality to our meals. My wife had a cheeseburger & I had fish n chips, we both chose the sweet potato fries as the side. A very thick burger,cooked exactly as requested and the swiss cheese she ordered was nicely melted on top. I felt the serving size of my order was nice and fish tasted fresh not frozen - nicely sized per piece.
We are looking forward to a return trip - we certainly enjoyed this first impression!

We stopped there on Friday evening on our way to Menominee for a bite to eat. I had the Friday shrimp boil and it was fantastic! Huge portions that could easily feed 2. Wish I would have taken a picture of the platter. Hats off the cook! Fiancé had a loaded Bloody Mary that was missing the cheese whips and sausage that normally came with it. She was a bit disappointed but didn't make a fuss about it. We've had their 'build your own burger' a few times and they've always been great. The French onion soup is also one of the best, if not the best I've ever had. And they replaced their bar stools and bar table chairs with much more comfortable chairs! The old ones were small with no cushioning and truly a pain in the rear end, so thank you for that!!

Run by a knowledgeable manager and a delightful staff. The food is by far the best on the bay. Best burger I can remember eating in years. The steaks and specials are always amazing. You cannot go wrong. This is my go to place to eat on Green Bay. 10/10 huge plus that it is at one of the nicest boat launches on the bay too. I live in Germany and every time I come home to Wisconsin, I love to try the local restaurants. The Dockside team has “nailed it” on the drinks and food. The Bloody Mary was nearly a meal in itself. I still decided on a burger and fries. Boy was I not disappointed! Had it with cheese, mushrooms, and bacon. Einfach Lecker! Darn close to saying it’s was the best burger I’ve ever had. Not kidding. Came here upon recommendation for lunch at around 1pm on a Tuesday. Sat outside.

The Tuna Nachos are amazing. The rest of the food was average (gyro platter, kids chicken tenders, BLT)

Service was terrible. The adult entrees were served before the kids meals. Okay, no problem there. Except we ate slowly and managed to finish our meals with kids still not being served.

We would have said something to the waitress had she ever come by. Went inside twice to find her.

I would have loved a second beer but I guess this is a “one and done” kind of place.

This place came highly rated so I’m willing to try again. I just would have thought that a random Tuesday at 1pm would have been slow enough to provide decent service.

Outstanding food and drinks. Loved the Reuben rolls with homemade 1000 island. Salad was crisp with numerous toppings, Bleu cheese dressing tasted homemade. Steaks were thick and tasty. Dockside used to be very good. The menu used to have many options to appeal to a variety of preferences. Now almost all the fish is fried. Grilled salmon is gone. If I go to dinner and want to eat healthier I want more options than salad. We went with a group of 10. Everyone thought dinner was average and we waited for almost an hour for food to come out. The staff is very friendly and the cocktails were great. I miss the old dockside salad bar and menu variety. Feels like more of a lunch menu than dinner.

Um, WHAT!? We just happened to stop on a roadtrip and stumbled on this place. Somebody in this kitchen loves food and ingredients and has a true gift for flavor. I was just hoping for a quick sandwich and I was blown away! We had the bahn mi, harbor quesadillas, and the poke. Everything was absolutely delicious with fresh everything. just want to start this by saying: the one time i visited dockside the food was great. good atmosphere and everything yada yada. the only issues i have are 1) they charge you a DOLLAR for ICE in a drink. which i think is a bit extra but whatever lol. and 2) my mother was in there and she has celiacs. (for those of you who don’t know, it is an allergy to gluten. (wheat, barley, malt etc.)) and has asked a c o o k if one of their soups was safe for her to eat. meaning it’s gluten free. the c o o k said it was so of course my mother then proceeded to order it and eat it. well when she had left she immediately starting feeling extremely sick and was in so much pain and so miserable. meaning that the soup was in fact NOT gluten free and therefore not safe for her to eat. and i would just like to say, i would think that a cook at the establishment would know what is going into the food weather or not it is gluten. speaking for myself and a lot of other people it would be appreciated if they were educated on what exactly gluten is. not saying the cook doesn’t know what it is but i just mean people in general. for an example say my mother happened to have a more severe case of celiac disease. this small mistake very well could have taken her life. and i would hope and pray that this would never happen to anyone else. please be more aware and check ingredients if need be to keep your consumers happy and heathy. luckily my mothers case isn’t as bad as some others but in any case it needs to be recognized. and in no way am i trying to shame this cook but this could’ve taken a very very bad turn and thankfully it didn’t. i hope in the future the person/people of this establishment are more aware and are giving people the correct information about what is in their dishes so people like my mother don’t have to endure this kind of pain.

When ever we eat at the dockside it is delicious! Just finished eating the Mother’s Day buffet here and it was deliciously amazing again. Everything was perfect.
I loved the salad and the bread rolls, I did not have the breakfast items but other people did and said it was so good! Deliciously tender juicy New York strip roast, Juicy tender ham, Jumbo shrimp, juicy broasted chicken.I Love the Mac & cheese and stuffing! I did not have the corned beef or pork because I didn’t have any more room in my tummy lol but oh my goodness everything that I did eat was cooked to perfection.And the desserts!!

Haven't been here in years and was really surprised with what they have done with it. Incredible menu, outstanding food, and friendly on-top-of-it staff! Hacker-Pschorr on tap and great german food on the menu, how can you go wrong?!?!?

Bloody Mary was amazing, prime rib was Soo good, it had a great flavor and texture. The clam chowder was ok, the soup was so rich it took away from the clam tastes. The New York strip really needed to be marinated because of how thick it was, seemed like they were depending on the topping to help with the overall flavor, but the steak was just too thick.

Pros: Excellent Service. Lots of appealing menu choices. Nice location.
Cons: Food was pretty good, but fell a bit short on flavor. I’m not sure if the chef is new or maybe its a bad vendor, but the taste wasnt what we were hoping for.
The place has potential though.

Squeezed us in, they had a booked patio party & weather got bad so everyone was inside. But we got a table and dinner was fabulous. ..just one fly at our table wouldn't go away and was very annoying....but everything else was just great !

The food ww had was excellent. I had Fiesta chicken, my husband had perch and our friends had fish and chips. All of us agreed the food was tasty and presented well. The reasons it's a 4 srar is that 1) at first they couldn't find our reservation and she seemed to believe we didn't have one, and 2) I ordered an entrée that came with soup and salad. I told her I didn't want the soup, but ordered a salad. I didn't get it until after our food arrived and I asked about it. They were busy, but that is not something that should happen.
