The food was delicious and the portions were generous. My steak was cooked just as I ordered it, was tender, and seasoned to perfection. I tried a local IPA (the Mosiac?) and it was great. It was too chilly for us to enjoy the outdoor seating section and garden but you could tell that someone put a lot of thought and effort into it. We sat outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere — it’s a great spot to relax. The prices are very reasonable for Madison, which is a big plus. My only critique is that the ahi tuna and mashed potatoes were a bit underwhelming. That said, this place has a lot going for it, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. It’s absolutely worth checking out!

We had a tough time with parking, got seated right away though but felt rushed and they even have signs stating there is a 90 minute time limit, which isnt a big deal but adds to the rushed feeling. Everything came very quick and was on track for a perfect service, then, the waiter just disappeared for 15 to 20 minutes when we were finished and waiting for a check. All the food and drinks were fine but not great. The menu looks very exciting but fell a little short. We had burgers which they pride as a specialty with the local beef being promoted on the menu. They were OK. The ahi tuna was done just right and was quite good. The specialty drinks were decent as well. I would say the drinks are the highlight and they even have a good section for alcohol removed and na drinks. Overall an ok place to eat every once in a while. I suspect they would knock it out of the park when not busy. We were there on a Friday for lunch.

Went to Off Broadway Drafthouse in Monona today, and it was SOOO good!

We got a couple appies to try; coconut shrimp 10/10, curds 8/10, and frites 7/10! All soo good, though I expected more of a crunch from the frites based on the way they were described to me.

To drink my husband had an old fashioned— 10/10

I have an infused pineapple mango mojito — 10/10

My husband and uncle ordered their burgers, and loved them.

Our girls ordered BLTs—can’t go wrong with those!

I ordered the Birria Melt, with frites (no onion, I have a texture thing) and that was INCREDIBLE! An absolute 10/10. There was so much flavor in the birria meat, the chipotle aïoli was a nice kick to it and I love a good saucy sandwich.

Overall we had a great experience, we sat out side and the atmosphere was nice and we had a beautiful day. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and on top of things! We got our drinks and appies promptly, dirty dishes were cleared away quickly, they continued to check and make sure we had everything we needed and kept smiles on their faces.

We will absolutely be back, to show our friends and family this place for sure!😎🥰

I was in Madison visiting and some friends suggested going to this place for drinks. We did not order food. Had never been to this place before so I was not familiar with their drinks. Upon entering that had 2 TV screens with what I thought were different beers but it turned our most were mixed cocktails on tap, which I had never seen before. Turned out it was mostly cocktails and not many beers to choose from. A bit pricey too but I gave in out of curiosity. They had Jalapeño Margarita which was ok that came in a small glass jar. I ordered another drink but different and then we did a shot of Tequila to honor some that had passed. Although the taps on all the drinks you can get are labeled they don't tell you right off that they are cocktails on tap but it's a different place to go and try out. Can't say anything about the food as we did not order any.

Excellent place. Great service and a very good menu. I wish that you had ALL of the posts at the end of the parking lot clearly visible with a pylon on top of them, not just SOME of the posts. My lunch is now going to be very expensive because of those low sitting posts without clear visibility from the driver's seat.

Edit: That lunch cost me $1300 because of the hard-to-see posts at the back edge of the parking lot. The owner of the body shop told me that he's seen several cars with damage from this parking lot. Still very unhappy about this.

This restaurant was close to my hotel and had good ratings, so I decided to try it. The place was packed at 6 pm on a Wednesday night. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table.
The only disappointing aspect was they were out of a lot of items on the menu. We shared the salmon main dish. It was very tasty.
Parking was very limited. More cars were on the side streets than the actual parking lot. Easy parking though, it was a very short walk.

I was advised to eat here. Typically, I’ve been steered wrong. However, the Off Broadway was a pleasant surprise. The wait staff were really nice and informative. The menu had some excellent choices. I had a very difficult time deciding. I settled on the Friday Fish Fry. I went with the Cod and it turned out to be a great choice. It was the best fish fry I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many fish fries. The fish was crispy and light at the same time. The tartar sauce was perfect. The frites were hand cut and they were excellent. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant. My brother had a seafood melody. I can’t remember the name of the dish. He loved the meal and it was gone in 5 minutes. I will definitely be back for more!

My husband and I went for the first time because we kept forgetting to go there. We can’t wait to go back!! The drink selection is great! Husband had the pub burger. His only recommendation for that was there could’ve been more sauce. I had the Cajun pasta dish. (I can’t remember the name of it but it started with a T) Had blackened chicken and shrimp! That sauce was amazing! Husband said it’s some of the best pasta he’s ever had! Glad I was able to bring some home!! Great portion size! Service was great as they were super busy. A bit miffed at a bit rudely being told they had a 90 minute limit and that we needed to leave. We had been ordering drinks and apps continuously in the afternoon before they had gotten busy, and were about to order a early dinner when we were told our time was up. The table next to us had eaten dinner and was eating and drinking, continuously spending money and was also abruptly given the same message, told to finish their drinks and get out. First and likely last visit to this place for me. Unfortunate as the drinks and apps were decent and I wanted to like this place, but that ending definitely ruined our visit.

Everything we ordered was delicious. My mother-in-law and I agreed that this was the best mushroom risotto we have ever tasted. The portions are very generous, and there are lots of options for all dietary preferences. We wish it had been warmer so we could sit in the outdoor seating area-- it was so unique and pretty. OBD was great. They have some great beers on tap. I had the broken bat, and it was perfect. I had the Just chicken, and it was flavorful, moist with crispy skin, and that buttermilk sauce was perfect with it. The fries were good, I would suggest they make a little seasoning on the fries.

While in Madison for an event we stumbled upon this amazing little eatery! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, the service was top notch and the food was absolutely amazing! Locally raised grass fed beef was a big deal for us, so seeing that on the menu reassured me that we had made a good choice stopping to eat here. The waitress made an appetizer suggestion of the goat cheese, when she said she doesn't usually like goat cheese, but loves this, that caught my attention, because I don't like it either, so of course we had to order it. She was sooo right, it was absolutely delightful, I will order this every time I come! This visit I had their version of the patty melt and a salad and it was all very good. That day they had a chocolate peppermint cheesecake on the menu, and since cheesecake is my weakness, I of course had to try that too. It was very good and obviously homemade. It had layers of chocolate cake between the peppermint cheesecake layers and it was truly divine. Definitely enough for 2 people to share! Later that evening we actually ended up going back for dinner with some friends and this time I tried the battered chicken thighs which are butterflied and boneless. They were the best chicken thighs I've ever had, the breading was perfect and the meat was of good quality. I had the loaded mashed potatoes on the side, and those were very flavorful and well made as well. We live about 2 hours away, but I've told many people about this place and will definitely go back again when we are in the area! I highly recommend Off Broadway Drafthouse ♡

Very busy when we went but got a table fairly quickly. Risotto, and BLT were super tasty. Our pork chop was a little well done but was still juicy. Drinks and beers were delicious. We were kinda in a rush and they helped us get it and out quickly.... Even with it being busy

The juiciest and most flavorful wings I've ever had! The burger was a little dry but was great dipped in their homemade blue cheese dressing. We will definitely be back.

A tourist visiting and loved it. Relaxed, clean, quick and good service with a local and friendly vibe. Even the fries had skin and felt homemade.

Very unassuming, but well worth a visit! Bartender was super attentive, food was great, and has a great vibe. Highly recommend you check it out
