Had a horrible dinner last night. My husband ordered Carne Asada and it was a piece of tough steak thrown on the plate with 2 big onions, 2 big long peppers, and a mess of other beans rice and beans on another plate with a salad. Been there awhile back and never had this garbage. I had shrimp which wss big, dry loaded with some crappy sauce. Never again.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is amazing and servings are huge! I’m in love with the shrimp tacos. I’ve had enchiladas and fajita burritos which were all amazing but I dream about those shrimp tacos so that’s my order from now on. My husband equally loves the steak nacho burrito. The service is always so friendly. We have to have dined here over 20 times and we’ve never been disappointed. When we have friends in town, this is where we go. They all rave about the food.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday during Memorial Day weekend. To my surprise, it was nearly empty — which, in hindsight, should have been a red flag. Despite the lack of a crowd, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, even though food looks great but I was very disappointed with the food.

I ordered the fish tacos, and my wife had the fajitas, which were served with a side plate of beans, tomatoes, cheese, and more. The food had absolutely no flavor — none. Having recently moved from Arizona, where I’ve enjoyed plenty of authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, this experience fell flat in every way.

What puzzled me even more was the number of glowing five-star reviews. I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings — food without taste shouldn’t earn top marks. To add to the frustration, the service was surprisingly disorganized. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we had three different servers ask us the same questions and repeatedly bring water.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience from both a culinary and service perspective. I won’t be returning.

Awesome decor. Very friendly staff. However, small portions for lunch. Too much cilantro for my taste. I had the chimichanga and I am used to white chicken meat. This was a lot of dark meat, cheese over the top is thin and melt it.

Chips and Salsa - They were fantastic! The chips were on the thicker side, were served warm and were perfectly salted. The chips were addicting on their own. The salsa was super fresh. It was not spicy at all - 5

The meat was very tender, nice sized pieces and seasoned really well. The only down fall with the taco is that the shells did not have anything done to them so they were falling apart with every bite.

The chicken was shredded and had a tomato base flavor to it which was good.

Chori-Pollo is a chicken and chorizo dish with queso. It is served with rice, beans and tortillas. It is fantastic and if you have never tried it, HIGHLY recommend.

I do not recommend this restaurant, they don’t specify extra charges on the menu, they tried to up charge on a chicken chimichanga just because it was chicken and it doesn’t say anywhere on the menu that it costs extra. Secondly, the owner was very rude, he clearly doesn’t know how to run a business because when I informed him that the extra charge was not specified in the menu he told me to leave the food if I didn’t like it and then charged my card anyways. Please check your receipts if you eat here, it’s definitely a scam what they do to their own customers, it’s probably a few dollars but if they do it to all their customers they are taking full advantage of the phantom up charges.

I feel their portion sizes and quality have declined in the past few years along with raising their prices. I placed an order of Asada Tacos for pick up today and get back home to find out it was just 3 small tacos ($17). No rice or beans that should have come with it. It’s not worth the drive to get the rest that should have been included. For the $$ Taco Bell would have been more filling…

This place remains decent. The staff is friendly, service is good, and the food is pretty good, too. It's pretty standard Mexican fare, and their guacamole is really good. The atmosphere is nice, and weeknights service is typically prompt. The veggie fajitas are pretty decent, and their vegetarian enchiladas and burritos are good enough to recommend. Our daughter likes their queso and refried beans. It's nothing amazing or anything, but you also won't be disappointed with the food, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I must say, the service was impeccable! Our waiter took amazing care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing - downright awesome! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. It was truly one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. We went here for lunch. The wait staff was really nice but the food was disappointing. My husband's fajitas were brought on a plate rather than a skillet; he was surprised that it wasn't sizzling and when he tasted it, he said it was lukewarm and the taste was "not as good as I could make at home." I got a soggy burrito with refried beans that had a fun chunky texture, but we're super bland.
For $14 a lunch plate, I'll go somewhere else next time.

The guacamole was great! The Chile relleno was ok. The tamale was not that good. The rice was taken from a burnt pan, and had a smokey burnt taste. I usually don't complain, however my friend mentioned the rice to our waiter. He brought us more rice from the same batch. We had a group of 10 people celebrating a birthday party. Loved this place so much.

Had an ok food experience. Server had no personality during our meal. Didn't even appear to look any of us in the eye. Then there was a problem with the payment system and they asked to run our cards a second time. Shortly after I had 3 charges on my credit card, one of them in Huston Texas! They even asked us to call a member of the party who had left 10 minutes before so they could run their card a second time. I'm sorry but you already accepted payment and provided receipt. Won't be going back after that experience. I waited over an hour b4 I recieved confirmation that I'd only be charged once. All the while my wife's to-go order was getting cold. No compensation was ever offered for the mix up.

On expensive side for americanized mexican food & portion size, the positive is their guac made in front of you at the table, however if u prefer no cilantro say so multiple times, then check it before preparer walks away. Favorite Mexican restraunt in the state of Wisconsin! From the authentic Mexican food to the knowledgable staff that can answer any question and make some of the best margaritas I've ever had!! I'm not particularly a guacamole guy but I will eat the guacamole here as it's made fresh in front of you and you can add just what you like and it's perfect every time!! The food has never disappointed, everything I've tried here has been hot, cooked perfect and taste amazing!! The only complaint I have about this place is that sometimes you have to tell the server not to bring your food out right away as it comes out in under 10 minutes if you just want to hang out have a drink or two and talk with friends. We are regulars here and will be as long as their around!

Very disappointing! Food look like they've stored the meat for years and thawed to mush. Growing up in the Latino culture knowing what's Muy deliciosa and not is very noticeable. If only people were more considerate knowingly they're giving someone this expired food. Hopefully the new Taco Bell be more outstanding!!! Not authentic food but usually more flavor yet tolerable.
