Total gem of a brewery. Absolutely loved the laid back vibe and casual space. Picnic tables surrounded by lush plants everywhere made this patio feel like a little haven. The beers were some of the best I've had, even the slushy was a delight. The taco truck also fantastic, serving up great tacos. Not to mention awesome friendly staff and service. If you like good beer, don't miss a trip to Oliphant.

This place is small and quaint. Several tap craft beers to choose from. Very original flavors. My son in law had a peanut butter flavored beer that tasted exactly like peanut butter. I had the vodka slushy that was very refreshing. However, I don't remember the flavor it was so good. They also have canned cocktails and sodas. The Taco truck was a great bonus. Very worth a try.

Fun stop for a Father’s Day day-trip from the Twin Cities. We popped in and grabbed a full flight and a pint. We were impressed with the variety of styles and tastes and loved that they had both NA and gluten free options available on tap and in bottles. The bartender was friendly and informative. The food truck looked great but we had just eaten at Bistro 65 in NewRichmond so we will have to try it another time. They currently have Biffys for the bathroom but they have indoor ones under construction! That’s going to make a big difference, especially if you have young kids.

I have become a frequent patron, the service is always top notch. Everyone is so kind, helpful, makes ya feel like youve known them forever. Also a great spot with the kiddos. The 🥦 drinks are amazing, tasty and are a great natural muscle relaxer. Rusket kitchen is the food truck for oliphant is hands down some of the best chicken tinga tacos/burritos I've had in a very long time. Juicy, flavorful and takes your taste buds on a little journey. 10/10

First time over was an easy 5/5, its a long drive for us but the amazing space, great vibes, super well made sours and wonderful hosting from a really nice guy, maybe mid 30's with super even vibes. He went above and beyond in every respect, while being a quiet nonchalant presence. Kind, generous dude who was great to talk to for a minute too! A really nice experience that made us want to come back on every level!

So we did! Next visit, totally different experience. No greeting on arrival, hostility and rudeness from customers waiting outside, but primarily the younger (ish) woman who was hosting. Horrible attitude, no greeting or acknowledgement on entry, massively unfriendly vibes, passive aggressively moving her station instead of taking our order because to her we were clearly standing in the wrong place at a loaded bar. After no acknowledgement just standing in front of her for 15-20 mins making eye contact while she decided passive-aggressively shuffling pencils was a better idea than trying to make us feel at all welcome, we decided not to open a tab. It's a long drive for us that we very much expected to be making all summer, because you guys set yourself apart! That good work was undone for us by this single dreadful employee. To be honest, It's the worst we've been treated by someone making a paycheck since either of us can remember, Its the only reason it still stands out even a month or so on, as we were considering coming back with the nice weather. It's a long drive for us, we don't need to go out of our way for that we can get disrespectful impersonal service right in our backyard! To anyone looking for a recommendation, I would totally give it, amazing beers in a very fun space. Hope you guys do well out there!

From out of town and stopped by on our way home from up north to stock up on our favorite thc drinks. We first tried them from our local liquor store but they’ve since sold out. Tasting room is small and inconspicuous but the guy behind the bar was super friendly, and described all the different options. We also tried their strawberry pickle beer that was surprisingly refreshing. Hopefully they’ll keep distributing to our location but would be back if in the area again.

Oliphant Honees Honees: Oliphant Brewing was founded just over a decade ago in Somerset, WI (which is practically MN near the Twin Cities). Being an avid reader, I know never to judge a book by its cover, but the artwork on the can is honestly what got me to check out Honees Honees. It's dubbed a peanut butter & honey golden ale, which is an ale brewed with honey and lactose, with peanut butter flavor and caramel color. The artwork that so powerfully snatched my attention sort of conveys that in its own unique and trippy way. Pouring the ale reveals a clear dark gold/amber color. I found the peanut butter to be stronger on the nose than the palate. Taste favored honey, with hints of peanuts, caramel malts, and a sweet (for a beer) finish. It weighs in at 5.6% ABV. Both the artwork and beer itself are Doughboy approved

I absolutely love everything I have tried from your brewery. I especially love the blueberry cheese cake disaster. The problem is I can only consume one every 5 hours because of the THC. I want to drink more in a shorter amount of time. If this could be made into an alcoholic beverage or even an NA ( I know) I would buy so many more.
They are delicious. Just a suggestion, no criticism. Keep making amazing beverages.

We travel the globe to find the best breweries.
Most are average. Which has become the norm for us in our adventures. It's okay. We enjoy the journey as well.
Occasionally we stumble across that "diamond in the ruff" or "needle in the haystack".
Oliphant is one of those.
Top notch beer. I'm not kidding. Some of the best we've had in a long time.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and beer smart! Tough to find that combo these days. Laura was a wealth of knowledge and was very personable. She sampled us many different beers without a single eye roll 😉
The tasting room was perfect. Non descript, not presumptuous and eclectically decorated.

I love everything about this brewery except the fact it feels like a preschool / kindergarten in there half the time I go in there because of how many children / babies are in there 🥲 why do so many people feel the need to bring their 6 month old screaming babies to a brewery 😂 takes away from the vibe big time. June 2024 update: My wife and I went to the Thursday night date night and loved the food from the food truck, it was all very tasty. All of the staff paid attention to my food allergies.

As an artist this place is so cool to visit. Feels like an installation exhibit experience. The art is so unique. The beers are also delicious and unique to other things you can get in the larger area. I am obsessed with the spicy margarita pickle beer. Took a lazy Sunday afternoon with my buddy Dave and made good with trip to Oliphant's taproom. The ascetic has SoCal vibes and vibrant art displayed in every nook and cranny. Eye candy glaore! Our beertender, Sam Berry was absolutely delightful! 💯 Not only did we try all the mainstays we love, Sam set us up for success with her knowledge of beer mixing and I discovered a new, unlikely favorite, Stout mixed with Blizzard of '91! Sam is an asset to Oliphant's taproom and made the entire experience so much fun. I can't wait to visit again soon.

I just wanted to say that I love pickles and I love beer. I tried your pickle beer and it was not drinkable, I think it was because it included a certain over powering spice. It wasn’t like adding a little pickle juice to a beer which I had hoped. Not fair to rate all of your beers based on 1 but this was awful. I would try your other beers.

What a cute little Brewery!
This was my first time here and I had such a great time.
I am NOT a Beer consumer, But this Pineapple Coconut smoothie was The Bomb!
I just got a tiny one just in case it got warm and I couldn't finish drinking it?
But was it ever tasty!
The Bartender ladies were exceptional and so fun!
I definitely recommend coming here and giving them a try!

We started selling some of their ales at my work in minneapolis. After sampling the two ales we have by oliphant, I felt very motivated to make the drive to their brewery in somerset on a day off. I love beer but this is the first time in a long time I’ve found a new favorite. The location is so cute and sightly, the staff is warm and welcoming and the ales are priced just right.
