They have a good selection of beer and I really like the atmosphere there. They have shuffleboard, board games and other things to do while enjoying some locally brewed beer. I like that they have a lot of seating options (bar, high tops, low tops) and sometimes have live music! The beers are very affordable Ranging from $3 5oz tasters to $8ish dollars for high ABV options but most land around $6 for a 16 oz which I find reasonable for specialty/locally brewed options. I love that the upstairs is open so even when you’re up there during live music, you can still hear it. A super cool place that I would definitely visit again!

Visited for the first time yesterday and so happy! I met up with friends, who have been going here for awhile now. Our babies got to meet while we sipped on brews and caught up on life. The babies liked the atmosphere too. 😃This is my new fav brewery! The atmosphere is casual, the owners are lovely, and the beer is delish! I also had a pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños and it hit the spot.

We visited as my husband did the Eau Claire Beer Crawl. This place was easy to find. The interior is very open and pleasant, complete with a fireplace that would be wonderful in the winter. The bartender was awesome to chat with as we tried a flight of beers. This was a very enjoyable stop!

Wow, I can’t believe we haven’t visited this place before. My neighborhood girls friends invited me to join them. When I walked in the atmosphere was so cozy and inviting, nice comfortable seating areas. Great choice of beer, and beverages. We orders the supreme pizza for 4 people. Nice size of slices, 2 per person. They have many board games for you to enjoy, family friendly, a cozy fire place for the chilly days, an outside area for the nice days. Friendly staff. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making this a nice venue.

They have a nice variety of beers with a neat relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed a supreme pizza last night with some Hoosegow; the amber ale. The pizza was made to order and very fresh with fresh ingredients and a nice crispy crust. I can see the pizzas gaining in popularity so hopefully the quality can remain the same as that side of the business picks up. Highly recommend!

I love this place. It’s right off of US Highway 12 on the east end of Altoona. The beers are great. They make several hard seltzers as well. Just this summer they added pizzas, made to order. Pizza fries and pretzel sticks are also available. Outdoor seating. Shuffleboard upstairs. A totally chill atmosphere. The brew house is in the taproom.

Ombibulous is a small brewery in Altoona just outside Eau Claire. It is in a commercial strip building but is really nicely decorated with woods, metal, a fireplace, and nice little patio. They have free shuffleboard on there upper deck with additional seating. They typically have 12 of their beers on tap plus 3 seltzers and various sodas. Beers on my stop were red lager, 2 Mexican lager, Irish Red Ale, 2 NEIPAs, a Wheat, coffee stout, Irish Stout, wet hopped pale ale, and a black ale. I enjoyed all the selections I had. Though none blew my mind I would certainly come back to try more varieties.

New brewery on the edge of Eau Claire that has a great atmosphere and excellent staff. Interesting location to pick given they are only one other tenant in the building. Not sure if the area can sustain another brewery without uniqueness or any food. They do have free popcorn and free shuffleboard upstairs.

*Flights should be not the same price as a 5 oz, but we picked 4 which was $8. Most breweries have a discount when you get a flight. The 4 selected were decent, my favorite was the mug shot - stout and the least favorite was bee's knees lager.
