Three strikes and you’re out! The first time we were here we ordered a simple pizza and it came out three times in a row over the course of two hours burnt to a crisp… We eventually gave up that night trying to eat there… We decided to give it another try last night. Everything was overcooked over fried and do you think that we could get all the food to come out at the same time, one of our dinners was 25 minutes later than the others at the table! People supposedly rave about the pizza here it’s just OK there’s nothing special about it and it always comes out with one side burnt! I’m honestly surprised this place even stays in business! That was the last time we will dine at On the edge!

So, we've been here a number of times. The food is really quite good, particularly the pizza and the fish fry, and they make a pretty good old fashioned. Plus they have Guinness on tap. That being said, they consistently understaff the dining room and it really shows in the service. Sometimes we grab a table and go 15 minutes before first contact with a server. Sometimes the pizza shows up half an hour after the rest of the food because it got served to another table. Sometimes the server is grumpy and visibly sweating because she's nearly sprinting between the kitchen and dining room.

As it is, we come here when we want a really good pizza/fish fry but won't be put out if there's a lengthy wait at the table for it. We would probably come more often if the service were more consistent.

Went for a fish fry and grabbed some apps while we were at it. We had cheese curds and breaded mushrooms and they were both some of the best I've ever had. Huge portions, too!!! The fish fry was pretty good, too, although, after eating the apps, I barely had any room and took most of it home. Everything was priced reasonably for as much as they gave you. Would definitely go back, if for nothing else, their apps!!

The dining area is a little dark and leaves a lot to be desired, but the food makes up for it.

Every Tuesday tacos are phenomenal in flavor. Michelle is friendly and really good, keeping the food and drinks coming our way.
It's starting to become a tradition to stop and eat at the restaurant.
We'll make sure to take more to go, and surprisingly, those taste great the next day for lunch!

This local restaurant has lots to offer and good beet selection.

Another Tuesday, another taco & and wings! The Chipotle ranch flavor and meat are tender yet crispy, not your average wings stop. Must try!

Not sure about the food, never got to it. On a Monday night the restaurant was empty except 2 tables. They were big groups, true, but even after 30 minutes the server literally never came up to our table.

I asked her what we need to do to order food and she said "Just sit wherever."

30 minutes later and she has walked past us at least half a dozen times waiting on the other two tables, never even looked our way.

Walked in at 5:30 to an entirely empty eating area on a Saturday night. Was told there was no waitress by some worker. He told us to chose any seat and he’d be with us. He got us drinks and then never came back, we waited 10 mins then left. He was busy with what looked like flirting with some co worker or bar goer and chatting it up with some customers drinking at the bar. Absolutely terrible service.

We reserved ahead for a group of 14 to make sire they would be able to accommodate a group our size. Once we got there we ordered and began waiting for our food. After about half an hour the first person got their food but it took over 2 hours for the last people to get their food and people had a flight to catch, so they were unable to eat dinner. The restaurant was also almost completely empty so there was no reason for it to take so long. After questioning why it took so long, the restaurant took no responsibility. We had an overall great experience at On the Edge last night.

It's a bar and grill but there is a dining room that extends away from the bar area, making it a nice quiet space for conversation and family enjoyment. We were a party of six and the longest table they had was the farthest one from the kitchen. Our server really put the steps on going back and forth. A real trooper.

Speaking of our server - CeCe - she was just a delight. She was so friendly and really seemed to enjoy what she was doing. She attended to our needs on spot and promptly fixed any issues we had.

The food is just delicious. We had two errors with the cooking of a burger and a steak sandwich. One ordered rare and one ordered medium rare. Both were cooked to way overdone. We learned Enrique was the lone cook and had so many orders come in they just got away from him. No worries Enrique. He cooked up new dinners and they were perfect. Both people raved about how good they were. We are all human. We all make mistakes. It is how you respond to those mistakes that should be rated, not that it occurred in the first place. The owner even came over to personally apologize and make sure they were taken care of. And they were WELL taken care of.

I ordered Breaded Mushrooms with Ranch to start and the Monterey Chicken (grilled) as a wrap, with Seasoned Fries. The fries are Cajun seasoned, and CeCe warned me that sometimes they are a little heavy handed with the Cajun Seasoning and asked if I wanted to request them as "lightly seasoned." I did. I'm very glad she recommended that as they were still heavily seasoned. They were delicious, don't get me wrong, but anymore seasoning and I wouldn't have been able to eat them.

When I ordered the mushrooms CeCe mentioned it was a large order and could easily be shared by all of us. I said "HELL no. Those babies are for me. I will take home what I don't finish." We all laughed. Then when the second person order mushrooms she checked make sure if we really didn't want to share. I said nope. MINE. I do think it was sweet that she wanted us to understand just how large the orders were, but we love our leftovers. I had my leftover half wrap for breakfast and will be having mushrooms, fries, and tots for lunch. YUM!

They have half off select appetizers and wines on Wednesdays. One in our group ordered the wings appetizer. After confirming she wanted those as they were not part of the special, CeCe let us know that Monday nights was 80 cent wing night. They looked really good, and were confirmed by the consumer as being crunchy and juicy. It can be a real disappointment to get wings that are overcooked because the oil isn't hot enough to flash fry the exterior and lock in the juices while the meat continues to cook. These were perfect.

We just experienced the absolute worst restaurant service and food ever. We tried On The Edge in Greendale for the first time to celebrate a birthday and not only did all the fish frys come out uncooked they accused us of being repeated complaining customers. We all have never been before. That was $85 of food we didn't eat and left feeling what a terrible birthday celebration.

Went to see a band and dance..that part was fun. Decided to eat beforehand and that was a big mistake. The pizza was disgusting.. swimming in cheese. The only good thing about it was the crust. Don't go during a Packer game. We waited to sit then waited for a waitress then waited over an hour for a pizza. Nobody came back for over an hour to do drink refills. Some guy brings out the pizza and says it's hot. I said ok. He said they had it as a to go. He plopped the pizza down and ran off. Another table had their pizza on a pizza rack. I was excited to try, heard the pizza was fantastic and it was very good. I being a server myself know accident happen. We were a table of 4 that were there right as they opened and there was one more couple in the restaurant in tolal. The atmosphere was great for my 2 children that both won a bouncy balls so they were entertaimed. The server took order, then read everything back to us and it was right! 40 minutes after waiting for our food 2 pizzas a cheeseburger and an Italian sandwich, She forgot to put in the cheeseburger OK I'll give you a pass, I ordered pepperoni I got sausage my son ordered sweet potato fries he got seasoned fries and the burger was cold in the center. She did take off the cheeseburger I did appreciate that our bill was $60 dollars I still left her 10$. I just don't have a need to return to the establishment

The pizza is good but the service was not good. The gal was friendly but we ordered 3 appetizers and weren't told they were out of the pretzel till 1 appetizer and a lukewarm pizza came out that was a medium and without sausage (we ordered a large meat pizza). The other pizza that came out was hot and the correct toppings after 10 minutes of having our first pizza (which was all ordered at the same time). I honestly think the first pizza that she served us was somebody else's. I also had to ask for refills otherwise I don't think we ever would've got them. We had a large group and were counting on 2 large pizzas and 3 appetizers. So the lack of communication and the mix up meant my wife left hungry on Mother's Day since being the mom that she is wanted to make sure her kids ate. I know these days are challenging with finding help but after a visit like this we will not be back.

There's always not enough people working which isn't their fault, the staff is honestly doing the best they can which is vastly appreciated and I hope they're compensated properly for it. This does mean things like drinks and food take quite some time to roll out or sometimes in the mix of things it could be forgotten. Just be nice and remind them politely. The food isn't the best. I know everyone says their pizza is the best and it might just be what I had but it's alright. Their sandwiches and burgers are way too greasy though and came to me a little bit too cooled off.

Pizza was okay. We had a large thin crust pizza and the crust was soggy the whole way through. It was disappointing considering we waited 40 minutes for the pizza to come out.
