One of my favorite restaurants! I would always come here and order the Spinach Artichoke Fondu and Tiramisu — Because these are the best items on the menu and would be all that I want. Last time I ordered these items was the summer of 2023 as I no longer live in the area.

I stopped here with my husband a few weeks because we were in town and I decided to expand my normal order to include an entree. We still ordered the spinach artichoke dip, but to my disappointment, they stopped making this with the goat cheese :(

Now that they use sour cream and chicken broth, it's pretty much the same as you'd get anywhere. I will no longer rave about this menu item

My husband ordered medallions and they looked decent, I ordered the grouper and it was fairly delicious. The bed of butter noodles could use more butter & garlic for my taste pallet.

Of course, I also ordered the tiramisu, but the staff forgot to take it out of the freezer the day before, so I was not able to indulge in the second best item on the menu —which is probably for the best, considering if they changed their spinach dip recipe, they probably changed tiramisu.

We were excited to go here because of all of the good reviews and everything looked delicious from posted photos. Not sure if it was just an off day when we went but we had a bad experience. Bartender wasn’t nice, food was plated nicely but was bland, there was a bug & hair in the clam chowder soup, the perch had a ton of bones, & the server didn’t check on us so there was no recovery. Wouldn’t recommend.

We stumbled across this place while looking for dinner, and the service was great, the food was awesome (I got the chicken Alfredo, which had a little kick of lemon in it, and my boyfriend got the rainbow trout and he said it was easily in his top 3 fish dishes he’s ever had)! The service by the mgr. / host gentleman, a lady named Alia, was amazing.
This place lucky to have them both as an employee, very professional, fast, and they were on the spot taking order, making sure the order was delivered and satisfied.

Ordered a chicken panini sandwich. I asked that they would leave the bacon off. When I received my sandwich, I checked and it had bacon. I explained to the waitress that I could not eat it, that I get sick from bacon. She said she would get me another sandwich. I said they couldn't just take the bacon off, as I would still get ill.
When she brought it back, I could tell they had just taken the bacon off and there were still bits in the sandwich.
She said she would have them make another one. I said no, that I couldn't trust it and that she should just take it off the bill. She brought me another one anyway and I said no that I couldn't take the chance. She gave me a box and said to just take it home for my husband and that she would take it off the bill.
I always liked eating there, but I can't take the chance of getting sick. What if they do that with someone with a life threatening allergy??
My husband did try the sandwich and couldn't eat it because it was mostly hard pieces of bristle. Very disappointing as this used to be one of my favorite places to eat.

Went here for Mother's Day for 7, first time at 1130. Showed up about 1135 and checked in for 1230 reservation. Waited till 1230 to be seated because they have our table to another family who didn't want their reservation outside ...hmm. after being seated, quickly ordered food and appetizers. Waited 15 mins for appetizers and another 30 mins for salads and ham and turkey plates. Nothing special here. Really disappointed didn't have a brunch at 1130 on Sunday. This was our first experience at Open Flame and it couldn't have been better. Our waitress was very nice, attentive, and the food was perfect. I had such a taste for beef stroganoff and it did not disappoint. Before then, we had spinach and artichoke dip, salad soup, and it was no wonder I brought home a bunch of leftovers.
It was beautiful inside, quiet, and a very nice atmosphere to enjoy a date. We had such a great experience, we will definitely return in the future.

It was our first time eating here at Open Flame. We are from Guam, and Open Flame was a must try suggestion from my daughter inlaw Chyenne. You can tell how famous this restaurant is just by seeing how busy it was when we arrived. I ordered the shrimp stir fry but got chicken. Please don't get me wrong, this meal was excellent from the rice to the bite-sized chicken pieces. But what made my meal even more special was that I was still served hot off the grill shrimp at no extra charge. Yummy! So for a delicious meal, great service and such gracious and attractive staff, Open Flame is a must try restaurant. They made us feel like family...and try everything. Each meal was delicious.

Normally this is one of my favorite places to eat, but tonight we walked into the worst service ever. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before the server came over to take our drink order. It took another 15 minutes to get our non-alcoholic drinks. At that point our order was taken. We sat there for another 20 minutes before any bread was brought to our tables, but no refills on the coffee which was long gone. 30 minutes later, still no soup or salad and no meal of any sort, we were just sitting there waiting, waiting, waiting...our server was busy but we were ignored along with a few other tables. I finally got up and asked to cancel our order because we got there at 4pm and left after 6pm without having any food/dinner We told the host and he just said "ok" and walked away.

The service is very fast and friendly. The atmosphere is a little dated, but it's cleaner than most older restaurants. I ordered a 10-inch margherita pizza with a side caesar salad. One of the best caesar salads I've had. The complementary bread is warm and delicious. The pizza was extremely disappointing, though. It's thin crust and mostly burnt. There's no tomatoe sauce on the pizza, just diced tomatoes on top. It wasn't nasty, but it's not a margherita pizza.

Went last night for husband birthday with family. Made a reservation for 7 people. Seated promptly. Restaurant was 1/2 full. We waited a least 10 minutes before waitress adressed us. It was completely wrong. For an ice cream drink there was not any ice cream to be found. Also we were just about done eating when I received it. Overall the food looked great but was ok at best. My BF’s prime rib looked awesome!
It was oddly flavorless, served with a SWEET glaze/gravy w/ mushrooms. NO au jus or horseradish on the side?!
Parm crusted tenderloin medallions, were good & cooked perfectly.
My mom had a black & blue burger, again it looked great but was just ok.
Salad that came w/ my dinner had great cheese dressing. Really enjoyed the warm bread w/ olive oil and calamari! Lobster bisque that came with my BF’s dinner, not great.
Total bill was about $150 w/ tip.

We over looked the lack of flavor, and missing standard prime rib side. Not to mention the 5 gallon bucket wedged under ceiling tile to handle a roof leak. What happened w/ my mom at the bar, after dinner, was a joke.

After dinner my mom walked to the bar. Grabbed pull tabs & another drink, her 3rd drink, specifically. She no longer drives.

After winning a few bucks, she got a couple more pull tabs & just hung out at the bar. She was having a good time talking with a gentleman at the bar & wanted to stay a little longer. We stayed for a drink, my first of the night & my BFs second. The gentleman my mom had been talking w/ tried to buy us drinks, this was when my mom was told she was cut off. Pretty sure they meant the 3 of us. The pulled our empty glasses off the bar & signed bill.

They told us this was for my mom’s safety because the manger heard her slurring her words. They could not serve her anymore for her own protection & the security of their liquor license.

Please keep in mind I’m a reasonable person. I’ve been a licensed bartended for years and worked across multiple types of venues/establishments. The need to stop serving someone is a very real thing, I’ve had to do it plenty of times, it’s not something I take lightly. I fully respect an establishment’s right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. I also appreciate their concern for patron safety. However, in this case it was completely uncalled for.

I’m very curious about why this actually happened. Was it because they closed with in the next hour? Or that my mom is considered disabled & walks with a cane? Or because my mom voiced her opinion about the legitimacy & pay outs of their pull tabs?

Whatever the case, it was an absolute joke. Last night your establishment only succeeded in losing good customers.

Your restaurant was one of my grandfather’s favorite places, my mom & him would eat a lot when he was alive. She still loves going there, it reminds her of her dad.

Not only did you tarnish that for her, you also succeeded in completing embarrassing a 60 year old retired lady, that doesn’t get out that much anymore, who was just trying to have a nice Saturday night out with her family…….WAY TO GO!!

No flavor to anything! Got the 16-oz prime rib. Most flavorless cut of prime rib I have ever had. Even worse, they glazed it with a sweet style demi glaze. The lobster bisque soup had absolutely no flavor,same with the Calamari bites. Service was okay. it took way too long to pay our bill.

My wife and I have been going to Open Flame, mostly for breakfast, for a long time, so I can't believe that I never left a review. The food has always been good and comes out very fast. The service has always been great, too. We especially appreciate Patricio as our occasional breakfast server. They have a really nice patio, but we almost never request a table there because Hwy. 100 traffic can be very noisy at times.

This is our go to place for an excellent Friday fish fry at a reasonable price. The fish is plentiful time of the options are numerous. They give you hot bread and butter to start, choice of soup and salad including clam chowder or optional lobster bisque which is absolutely amazing. Wait staff are super kind and it's always in a drivable experience to eat here.

I had the pork schnitzel and with the veggies topping was great. The service was very good and she explained how food was prepared. She was checking my table and spent time chatting with me. She gave me a military discount from the conversation we had. A very enjoyable evening.

Tim was exceptional in helping me set up a dinner after my husband's wake. Meals were served perfectly. Great choices for guests to choose from. Everyone raved about quality of food and servers. If I could, I'd give ten stars. Thanks for your help.

We had breakfast here for the first time this morning (8/10/24). Our waitress was rude, slammed our bill on the table and didn’t even ask if we needed or wanted anything else. Just slammed our bill without saying anything to us and walked right on to the next table behind us. This waitress only came once or twice to check up on us and took forever just to give us napkins or to come around if we maybe wanted a refill or something. We had to try to grab another waitress's attention to get a to-go box because we had an appointment at 11:30am and our server was taking forever. Because of the rudeness of this waitress, we took our cash tip back and left feeling unsatisfied.

Great place for lunch or dinner. I enjoyed the lunch special California panini. It came with a cup of soup, which was unexpected but great! The service was very good, and the restaurant was nicely decorated with a large patio as well. I would go back.

Got an absolutely ice cold reception from the hostess. No smile, no greeting. After a silent walk to the table, she put the menus down and walked away. No, "Enjoy your meal," or anything. I wanted to walk out but my friends wanted to stay. Our server was nice, but the food didn't impress, so I won't be back.
