This was the best meal I've had in my entire life. Chef Eric is incredibly thoughtful, detailed, and artistic in his creations. The menu changes each week, so you know you will get fresh ingredients and a very intentionally designed meal.

Every dish was elevated, refined, and extremely flavorful. They were perfectly portioned so that you could experience all seven (or five, depending on which you choose) courses without being overly full. We will still be thinking about the mushroom dish for the next few years, and luckily this is Chef Eric's signature dish so you may get it on your menu too.

If you're looking for a fancy meal to celebrate an event or just have a memorable night, Opus is well worth the money. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff, everything was very personable. It's an experience I won't forget!

We also appreciated the sweet, custom happy birthday plate at the end 😊 Chef Eric was so kind and it was lovely to talk to him at the end after appreciating his food all night!

This was an amazing experience and truly for the foodies in the area. Excellent food, beautiful presentation, excellent wine pairings, and great service. I highly recommend this and we will certainly be back soon. We have found nothing in the area that rivals or even comes close to this dining experience and exceptional food. I highly recommend this. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Opus, and the entire experience was exceptional. The food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We even had the chance to meet the chef, which added a personal touch to the evening. Hearing his story and learning how he developed the dishes made the meal even more memorable. I truly enjoyed every part of the night and plan to make this our anniversary tradition. Opus is an absolute gem in Lake Geneva.

Excellent. Worth it. We have eaten at the nicest places in West Michigan and done more than one multi course offering in Chicago. This place was just delightful. Details were outstanding. Flavor combinations, excellent. Wine pairings, spot on.

Incredible fine dining experience in an intimate setting. The chef's passion and artistic talent shines. This isn't a restaurant where you select an order from a menu. You just trust in the chef to deliver the experience.

Amazing Food,Great service, Had the 7 Course Tasting, Very creative pairings of food that seem like they wouldn't work together but do so wonderfully. Amazing variety of dishes that work together & trasition wonderfully between courses. Was very hard to pick favorites as each dish was the best of something, however, My personal favorite was the Truffle bearnaise with Mushroom on brioche. Easily one of the best things i've ever had. Very knowledgeable Chef with great technique and presentation came to table at the end to talk to guests and ask them about the food, service was great with quick refils and presentation of the dishes and if we had any questions would ask the Chef. Overall an amazing experience, If you have the time and money and want an unforgetable tasting expereince I would recomend Opus.

The Opus at The Belfry House is one of the best fine dining restaurants we have been to and is 100% Michelin-level quality. Every dish was incredibly refreshing, light, and didn't cut any corners. My favorite was the scallop and caviar with basil foam (!!!). Wife's favorite was the mushroom, quail egg, brioche dish. The wine pairing was phenomenal. Skyler was great and Chef Eric was very nice and came by each table to see what everyone thought of the meal. Seats about 20 people, very cozy, and a must do if you are in the Lake Geneva area. We can't wait to go back!

The best food we’ve ever had. We had the 7 course dinner with wine pairing. Chef Joseph chatted with us throughout the meal through the open concept kitchen. Our server Skylar was great and knowledgeable about the wines and food. Every course was unique and out of this world amazing. 5-star dinner, and worth every penny. Can’t wait to come back to Lake Geneva only to experience this again.

This was just a fabulous meal! The pork belly ravioli was just so amazing! I could have eaten a whole meal of it. Also enjoyed the Dorian. My husband who doesn’t eat seafood enjoyed it! And the two desserts were just luscious and perfect at the end of the meal. I also got the wine pairing… there were some pairings that were just spot on. Kudos to Chef Kim for combining a touch of Asian flair to some of the dishes and having a well connected 7 course meal!

I was welcomed by staff the minute I walked in. A friend & myself were celebrating her birthday & we had rsvp. The menus were personalized to our last names. We did a five course meal with the wine pairing and it was fabulous. Everything was very professional & adequate. I would highly recommend this place. We did not stay in the hotel rooms themselves but I have heard from previous friends that they are beautiful. I will be back soon.

This gem of Southeaster Wisconsin is a must for everyone. We have eaten there once before and it was so Memorable have booked for the two concerts we are attending at the Belfry Music Theater adjacent. The five course tasting paired with wine is a must. It changes all the time and we have never had a item.
Do yourself a favor. Light up your tastebuds. Advice all the way from Kenosha

This was an amazing foodie experience. As a couple we each enjoyed the 5 course chef choice with one flight of the wine pairing, while purchasing a starter cocktail and extra glasses of wine from the wine pairing list for the main course.
Our waitress was also a graduate as a new culinary chef and is in training with the amazing Chef Kim. What a wonderful anniversary dinner!

2/10/2023. Valentine's Day Dinner at Opus. 7 couse meal with 7 Wine pairings. Truly exquisite, an Immersive experience. Chef Kim created a spectacular, elegant dining experience that was unique, artistic and delicious. Initimate setting & decor. Great Service.

Plan for a relaxing meal (at least 2 hours). Small intimate dining experience. Belfry Inn attached for an overnight experience. It's expensive but very special, memorable. Reservations required. Menu is pre-determined by Chef.

Love this charming French restaurant! (Don’t look for a sign cuz there just isn’t one) to the rear of the Belfry Hotel, we were seated on the patio (a little too close for comfort as 3 tables of 2 were immediately as if 1 of 6! … good if you are outgoing but perhaps not if looking for romance!) Beautiful setting, great classic jazz music, nice service, food and drinks were good. I loved my burrata salad, French onion lacked cheese but was good. Entrees beef bourguignon (good) and pork belly confit (Minus the requisite fat) were good. No GF dessert for me so vanilla ice cream… but hubby enjoyed a chocolate cake (which I wish was flourless…) Left right at Sunset as all the Theatre goers were arriving for a concert!

Listen this isn't chicago so don't expect chicago value, quality, or quantity.
The location was poorly marked. So it was hard to tell where to park. Also being a black woman the parking people were surprised that I was eating there.
The location was nice once you found the entrance. But the website where I made the reservation said I could order entrees but in fact they only did a set of very small snacks. It was very overpriced. Very homie and Midwestern ingredients. If I wasn't Jewish and ate pork, maybe I'd have enjoyed it more.
The price point wasn't that high, but the quality was too low. It would have been ok at $40 or $50, but at $150 I expect more.

What a fabulous experience and the perfect all-around evening. My friend and I had the 3-course theatre menu and each course was a work of art, besides delicious; and we also enjoyed the wine pairings. Service, ambiance and the fine dining experience is beyond words to an amateur. Thank you to the Chef, Lesly, Schylar, and Anne Marie... what a great team. At 7pm, we walked next door to the Belfry Theatre for the On the Border, Eagles tribute. THE BEST!! Then (yes, more!) back to Bistro 67 patio at the Belfry House for wine, coffee and pastries under a perfect night sky. What a fabulous night and priceless experience. Pricey, yes; but worth every penny.

This is definitely a special occasion dining experience. The pace between courses was perfect, plenty of time to savor, enjoy, discuss, share. We spent about 3 hours total savoring our courses.

The sommelier was fantastic, as was our food sever. Both took the time to explain each offering, answered questions, and made recommendations. I would definitely encourage doing the wine pairing with the meal.

The executive Chef Philippe Chevalier, came out at the end of our meal to ensure everything was up to par. He also took the time to answer questions, and share some personal history of how he arrived at Opus.

The price was to be expected, for the level of service, quality of food, and wonderful ambiance but certainly not an "every day" dining option for most.

We even bumped into the owner on our way out, and spent several minutes discussing the dining experience with him. He genuinely appreciated our feedback, listened to any suggestions we might have, and was humble and gracious in explaining how Opus, this amazing dining gem, with an acclaimed chef who holds 7 Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, came to be in our own backyard in little Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Be ready to be "wowed"!

Amazing dining experience! A great option when visiting Lake Geneva, just 10 minutes outside the downtown LG area. The menu was well balanced with great local flavor. The wine pairings were a perfect fit. The kitchen crew was so focused on their task—it was like watching artists at work. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a dining experience above and beyond the norm.

This is an upscale French food place, very beautifully designed and well planned. Next to a small music theatre and within a boutique hotel. It is probably one of the best restaurants in WIsconsin. A “food with a destination” it feels like they are aspiring to reach have a Michelin level. I would have given them 5 stars but they still working out the kinks. As can be seen from the menu the food is not cheap (you get what you pay for).

An absolutely beautiful venue but words cannot describe the food!!!!
My wife and I were lucky enough to reserve a table at Opus and chef Philippe Chevalier astounded!!!!
Immediately upon entering we knew this was special. The staff were welcoming, personable, and obviously knowledgeable on quality dining.
Nols, the Sommelier, was on point and we gave him the reigns for our 4 course dinner from the start- he was magnificent!!!
Aaaand the food! My wife and I split every course as we could not stand to miss out! The meal was perfectly pared, bright, lightly heavy when necessary, and bursting with flavors unknown to us!!! Truly the best meal we have ever had!!!! And chef Chevalier visited us after allowing pictures.
We left speechless and delighted! Needless to say a return is certain.
I would say Michelin stars are in order!

We were lucky to discover the lovely opus dining room inside the Belfry House. The atmosphere was beautiful and cozy. We feasted on everything from the steak tartare, fillet, and striped bass, to the more unique venison chop. The cocktails were on point. The service was so welcoming. We were even greeted by the wonderful chef at the end of our exquisite meal. We will be back soon and be back often. Hats off to the new establishment
