We are regulars at Oriental Kitchen. We usually order and carry out, so everything is made hot and it's fresh! Our favorite's are jalapeno chicken, friend dumplings, and chicken on a stick!!
The only downside: the restaurant needs a good cleaning! If you can overlook that, definitely go. The food is worth it!

We were on our way back from Wisconsin Dells, and stopped into the Oriental Kitchen for dinner. What a treat! One of the best Chinese buffets I have had in a long time. The food was fresh, yummy, and the service was good and fast. Plus, the restaurant was very clean. We'll definitely be back if we are in the area again.

To be honest I was expecting more options and variety with it being a buffet but it's not a big enough deal to deny them the 5 stars they deserve. The place is just a bit smaller than you might expect when you think of a buffet but that just means they're making the most of the space they are working with. The food was amazing, the place was well kept and clean, and the friendly service was top notch too. They even went above and beyond when they noticed I seemed to be waiting and checked on me, to which I responded that I was hoping for more Crab Rangoon and they got right on it for me. I will definitely be back for more at some point because of this great experience I had a couple weeks ago (meant to write review sooner but been busy). If you're one person doing the buffet, they do ask you to please use cash for orders under $20, like the buffet, presumably because of merchant fees and I don't blame them there.

I tried one bite of the chicken, fried rice, and egg roll, and strongly disliked my food. The sauce had a metallic taste, the chicken was rubbery, the rice was dry, and the egg roll cabbage smelled and tasted “old”. Very disappointed and couldn’t eat more. I had to tell the waiter three times that I didn’t like it. I even brought my food to them and they didn’t understand. After waiting a long time, the cook came out. Instead of asking or offering something else, he had the nerves to say “you’re wasting my food!” By this point I was frustrated with the lack of customer service. I felt bad that I didn’t like the food, but I wasn’t going to pay $12 for something I couldn’t eat, and they didn’t offer something else. This is the only time I have ever refused to pay for my meal in any restaurants I’ve gone to. they were upset with me, and I was disappointed in their willingness to listen and offer anything. The rest of my family ate their food, some was okay, some things the flavor seemed off. And yes, we paid for their food, of course. I will never return to this place again.

Food was not good. Granted we arrived about 8 PM. Had to find silverware, the the waitress angrily grabbed it off the table, replacing it with rolled silverware. Nobody was present in the front of the restaurant after we plated our from the buffet. Will not be going back.

Very expensive (16,99$ per person) compared to food quality and quantity. A lot of tables and people, because it’s by the highway and plates at the buffet were empty the whole time. Even those dishes that was served had enormous quantity of veggies and meat peaces was so small and soggy, I could barely understand what I’m eating. There were 2 types of sushi (3 peaces each) but it’s hard to tell what was in it. Please avoid this place, it will save you money and health. With that said, there was sign in restroom for workers to wash hands before returning to work, but the soap was broken and I couldn’t get any out, which makes me sick thinking how they cook with wands not washed properly 🤮

Just love the authenticity of some of the dishes. Their lomein is off the charts!! And absolutely one of the dishes I always get. Their jalapeño chicken is my main entrée that makes me love this place and reminds me to come back everytime. Typical Chinese atmosphere but with the taste you're craving.

So, if you never had Chinese food from California, then you probably wouldn't notice the difference. For me, it is not what I prefer. Yellow fried rice is used in Hispanic dishes, in my opinion. Usually, pork fried rice is white rice fried. So I wouldn't eat here again. Other than that, it was hot, and portions were good. The dish pictured is the lunch special General Tso chicken and pork fried rice.

And this Chinese food is The Best & Yes Don't let the Outside fool you, You can dine in Buffet or take Buffet with You it is Weighed or Order off the Menu..I did both, I got Alot of veggies & Chicken from Buffet..SautedMushrooms are delicious & Not too Salty the Food which I love. Ordered Egg Foo Young for the Road.. Everything is Hot & Fresh..I Ordered $50 worth of Food to eat all week because I Love Chineese and this Place is the Best.. Extremely Happy I would give them 100 stars if I could...Staff Is Wonderful & the Gentleman that takes your Order @ desk is Very Pleasant..I will Return when coming through here every 2x weeks.. It's an OK place. I have been to many Chinese buffets, and this one ranks on the lower level. The fresh Geneal Tso's Chicken was really good. The Crab Meat Rangoons didn't have much taste besides cream cheese. The stuffed mushrooms were watery and fell apart. They didn't taste like much either. They did look good, though. Desert are identical to the other Chinese restaurants. They did do a good job of boiling the eggs. They weren't over boiled, and they didn't have that nasty grey ring on the yokes. The rice was dried ans had crunchy grains in it. The lady seating everyone was nice and kept up with her workload. Overall, I'd give this place a C. I'd maybe focus on the quality of dishes. Maybe add rice cookers to prevent dry, crunch rice. They variety is small, but the standard Chinese dishes are covered.

I'm from out of town. An hour away was in town for an event. Stopped here an hour before closing and the buffet is hot and steaming. I walk through it. Everything looked good then they tell me I can only do carry out only. I'm not driving a carryout in my car when you're still open another hour. Yum! The outside of this restaurant is deceiving, it might not look great on the outside but inside it is much better. The food was hot and fresh, they kept everything well stocked, the service was prompt, and the restaurant itself was very clean. A couple dishes I didn’t care for but that is just personal taste. And I have a kid who is a picky eater and there wasn’t a lot that she was willing to eat there. Overall it was a good experience.

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!! Absolutely 5 stars! First time ever here and it was fabulous. I have had some pretty bad Chinese food but not this place. The cream cheese wontons were fried to perfection. The teriyaki chicken was moist. The fried sweet bread was melt in your mouth good. The chicken and broccoli was fantastic (the broccoli was soft but not mushy), the stuffed shrimp was flavorful, I cannot say enough good things about the peanut chicken. The honey chicken was good. My husband said those were some of the best fried wontons he's ever had. The fried rice had great flavor. He did say his general tsos chicken was more sweet than spicy but it was still good. That little chocolate cake was probably the best I've ever had (it's usually dry but this one was not). The bananas were fresh. They used high quality yogurt and crisp apples and the banana pudding was thick! This place is a must try!!!
