Service - a young girl Jessica B the clerk had to ask for a manager to assist with my order of 4 pints of chocolate custard to be paid for on my credit card. I had a second separate order to purchase of a 25.00 gift card I wanted a separate receipt to include that the gift card had been successfully activated and paid for . She summoned the manager and then she ran in the back with my credit card in hand ,which made me uncomfortable since the two managers were at the window still. They figured it out but at the end when she gave me my card and orders back she said Oscar’s preferred that my order should be all in one transaction. I felt bothered by her comment
Especially since it was a gift card 🤷🏻‍♀️

It really pains me to leave this review because I've loved this place for years, but I'm deeply disappointed to hear that this establishment has ended a relationship with a group of people who were holding harmless meetups here monthly and working hard to fundraise for them. I was there for one of these first meetups and it was an amazing heart warming experience. I cannot fathom why they would turn these people away.

Oscars is a place where I sometimes go on my lunch break during work. Their custard is AMAZING, they have flavor-of-the-day, and there was a day when they had Blue Moon (MY FAVORITE), which I ordered as a shake (I was in pure HEAVEN). They make killer sandwiches (grease city, which makes them even better!!). I tend to order a Patty Melt with extra grilled onions ... OMG, SOOOOO GOOD!!

Came here starving with my family. We wanted ice cream after our meal. Unfortunately, the employee cleaning decided it was best to clean the train windows, where we were eating, with a lot of cleaning/foaming spray. Food is always good here but customer service is pretty bad. Went through drive thru today and got the biggest attitude by Maddy in drive thru. After I got to window and got ice cream and food. I noticed I was missing an ice cream so I went inside and told them I’m missing an ice cream. So Maddy comes from drive thru and walks up to front counter with an attitude saying “you didn’t order 2” and walk away. Mistakes happen but her attitude is out of line. I never complain to managers about workers but I had to say something to the manager on site because her attitude is uncalled for. Not only that but she had the worse attitude while I was placing the orders. Almost as if she was rushing me to order and getting frustrated. Fix the attitude

The Train set up at this location makes the drive from West Allis (right by that Oscars location) worth it in itself! The ice cream is absolutely amazing, the burgers are good but not fantastic or anything. I know they don't have a problem bringing in customers, but if their burgers were jumbo, or had some kind of gimmick like "Butter Burger® " Oscar's could be amazing. The Ice Cream is what they're known for, but I recommend the sloppy joes :-) they are really good, and you can buy them by the bag full lol

Stopped into here on the way home from Franklin Field. We were expecting a Culver's knock off and we were pleasantly surprised to quickly realize that it's light-year ahead of Culver's. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and asked for extra pickles. I am notorious for being verbally disappointed at what most places consider to be "extra" pickles. For the first time in my 40 years on this planet, I actually had to take pickles OFF of my sandwich there were so many. It was a Christmas miracle. My friend asked for a side of pickles for her burger and she basically got a helping of pickles the size of an appetizer. As far as I'm concerned, if you are a pickle lover than this is the only place to get a burger in Milwaukee. The prices were incredible, the service was amazing, the cleanliness of the joint was top notch and the food was delicious. The woman who gave me my sandwich actually apologized to me for how many pickles the cook put on my burger. You should have seen the smile on my face. If youre looking for a delicious, friendly meal, I can't recommend it enough

So, I decided that I am going to support Oscar's more and Culver's less. But when I do, I expect the same quality ingredients that I get at Culver's. But for the 2nd visit straight, I was served a caramel pecan sundae with stale pecans. I know they were stale because I have found nuts in my kitchen and didn't know they were stale until I took a bite. And I got that same familiar taste again tonight. To the management and ownership of Oscar's, you need to do better. Maybe reach out to one of those reality shows that will come in and renovate your restaurant and menu? You have a great location and large building that should be full, but instead, it's usually just a couple of others in there.

Prices real good. Quality of the food okay, but not "wow". Fish fry very disappointing in that the pieces are almost like fish sticks. No cole slaw or rye bread too. Just fish sticks and fries. Burger meat always looks a little charred, but mostly grey. They either need to char it more or use a blackening rub. Does not look real appetizing and tastes okay. Got a turtle sundae for $5.59 and was impressed by the size and taste. Way bigger than Culver's. Sloppy Joe's are an unusual menu item, but they are big and fairly cheap. Never been to Oscars before, so I walked inside the store to speak to someone face to face and take my time with the menu. 5pm and no other customers were in there- just one person in the drive through. The VERY first thing I told the cashier was "I've never been here before" and asked what he recommended. He said they are known for their burgers and fresh ingredients. I said cool, what is in the Oscar burger? (even though it's written up on the menu, I wanted to confirm what all comes on it). He said pickles, onion, and ketchup/mustard. I said great, can I please have that with bacon.

I get home and open my burger to see one patty and a piece of bacon, nothing else.... I called immediately to ask why I just paid $6 for 2 plain pieces of bread, especially after I confirmed with the guy what all comes on it? Person on the phone said I needed to ask for "the works" and the employee must have just rang it up wrong. I guess both of us had never been there before because a plain burger (with an upcharge for bacon!) is crazyyy.

Fries were the best fries I've had to be honest. Service was fast. Workers are probably just kids. I guess these days no matter what you do to make sure the order is right, you still need to peel open your burger before you leave...

I drive by here all the time. So I decided to finally give them a try. I got the bacon cheeseburger. The service was fast and simple.

The food was all right. The burger definitely has that grilled flavor to it. But the patty was like something I could buy in a prepacked box at a grocery store. For the price point and style they're trying to compete against: Culver's and five Give guys, I'd have to say they fall on the lower end. Culvers emphasizes that good customer service and fresh patties. Five guys has the juicy burgers and large fries. Oscar's does have that flame 🔥 taste to their meat but the generic patty and condiments makes it feel not on par with other places.

Id still say to stop by. The food was good and I ate it all. But there are other options I'd pick over this one before coming back.

So I usually stick to the Chicken or Hamburger.... finally decided to try the fish option and it's under the recommended of what I usually am used to seeing served. Per their website "Includes crispy cod, french fries, lemon and tarter".... No lemon or tarter, cocktail sauce (which is typically used for shrimp 100% of the time). Like hello it's Wiscosnin no place of food should mess up a fish and chip order.
