A group of 6 of us stayed in the Bay View lodge a few days while on a UTV trip. The lodge itself was as expected and good value for price. However, we were disappointed with the housekeeping. The bathrooms were not cleaned, the kitchen counter had food crumbs and the refrigerator smelled of fish. Normally I would have given a much lower rating. However I did bring my concerns to Joe (the owner) and he was very apologetic and to make things right he did provided a discounted fee.

Hard to find. Great server and fast service. Burger that was ordered well done came medium. Burger ordered medium well came medium rare. Inside dining area very noisy. Outside dining area had smokers up wind of our table. Be prepared for noise or cigarette Smoke.

This was my first visit to Otter Bay Resort and I fell in love with Lake Owen! We stayed at Otter Bay in the motel although there are also many cabins here too. The staff here are friendly, helpful and have gone our of their way to accomodate us. The motel room was a bit dated, but perfect for the purpose of Lake Owen.
Our room had a tiny kitchenette with basic cookware, two burner stove and fridge. Everything was super clean and cozy.
We're here Saturday through Tuesday and brought food for dinners two of the three nights; planning on eating at the restaurant/bar one night. Phil was the bartender/cook the night we ate at the resort. We ordered the the Wild Ride burger with sweet potato fries. This is hands down the best burger I've ever had...and I'm a burger girl. All the ingredients tied together perfectly under one bun. I could hardly wait to mash that bun down and try to sink my teeth in-it looked amazing! 10/10 stars for appearance. It was a beautiful culinary masterpiece on this canvas. I love that the side (sweet potato fries) was just enough to enjoy-not the 10# of salt you get at other burger places. Reluctant to destroy this gorgeous burger, but anxious to taste it-I mashed it down, bit in and savored every second of that first bite. It was everything I ever dreamed about. It was Juicey, ooey, gooey and delicious!
Thanks Joe, Phil and staff for making my first trip to Lake Owen amazing! I cannot wait for my next adventure here.

Stayed 2 nights in Forest View, 3br cottage. Very clean. Comfy beds. Everything worked as it should. Direct TV good. Owner was easy to communicate with prior to stay. Good food/ burgers at the bar, great job by Sara and Kaylee. Kitchen is basic. Could use a few more coffee cups :) enjoyed our stay!!

First impression wasn't good ,lots of junk laying about, grounds were not well kept. I enjoy a good dive bar, but this place could be so much more. We came here on an old recommendation that the burgers were fantastic. Not so much any more. I'm not a fan of frozen Sysco "food " . I ate the signature burger and wished I hadn't shortly after heading down the road. I wish that I could recommend this place , but no. We only stopped in for lunch.

If you're looking for a shining example of Northern Wisconsin bar food, this is the place. Nothing fancy about it, but you're going to get a good meal. I always get the otter burger with waffle fries, and the bloody mary is a must when you stop. The otter burger has a bacon, cheese, onion, mayo spread that is reminiscent of pimento cheese, but Wisconsin's version, greasy and delicious. Definitely worth stopping for a burger if you're boating on the lake.

Great spot! The cozy atmosphere is great all year long and the food is surprisingly good for such a small joint. The burgers are great and they update the menu fairly often which is nice. Be patient and tip well on busy nights as staffing is tough up there and they do their best to accommodate everyone!

room was more than expected for northern lake fishing resort. clean everything worked .the staff was very nice .food in the bar was good and pricing was on point . beer was cold . nice quiet nights with the windows open . rented a pontoon for 2 days of fishing ,glad we did as it rained the 2nd day. meh. room boat bar were all clean . My wife and I would go back again ...Sooon

Nothing not to like about this place. Some rooms are a bit more "rustic" than others. Price is right, people are great, Clayton is FANTASTIC, a really cool, friendly dude. Burgers are great. Can't wait to go back.

The stay that we had was very nice. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. The bartender there was a great guy to talk to and had great customer service. Everyone we interacted with, including other guests, were very nice and were fun to talk to and hang out with. Definitely plan on going back.

Great little stop on the trail between Lake Namekagon and Drummond. Sits in Lake Owen. The bar/restaurant area isn't large, has a posted capacity of 60, but they have great food and the drinks are always good. Prices for drinks are very reasonable as well. We end up stopping here a few times during our trip.

My wife wrote a review for Otter Bay Resort a couple months back but I decided I had to write one and give a couple SHOUT OUTS to the amazing staff I met when we were there. Amanda, Angie, Special K(Kathy), and Joe the handy man were all amazing down to earth people. If you like to go to a place where they make it feel like home, Otter Bay Resort is the place!! The people are the reason we are coming back in November and next summer. If you want a great burger this is also the place. Make sure you try the Otter Burger. The sauce is so good. I had some just about every day on my burger and with chips. Everything on the menu is great!! Thanks again for making our last trip memorable. See you soon!

Otter Bay Resort was an amazing place to stay. Lots of friendly folk and the stars out in all their glory. Meteors were wild the nights we were there. Firepits going and lots of people to talk to about all their experiences they had. The roooms were great, clean and cared for. You can rent daily, weekly, or buy a cabin if one is for sale. So much fun, I would go again.

One of the best places around the area. The staff is very friendly and surprisingly can rap with the best of them! Great family atmosphere and welcoming people. I will be back for sure. Clean rooms and the bar was top notch. Food was great and hot....need i say more? Well worth the time to get there. Loved every minute Of my stay on the resort.
