Went to The Outback tonight with my dad, and ordered their specialty cocktail and grilled chicken. The drink looked like a hidden watering hole at sunset that was garnished with a citrus slice and a platypus that screamed ‘I’m fancy, mate.’ 10/10 would order again.

Then came the chicken—seasoned, grilled, and served in the perfect shape of a Valentine's heart from a kangaroo. It swear it said ‘I love you’ in paprika. Pair that with a baked potato stuffed with enough cheese and bacon to send my arteries an eviction notice, and you’ve got yourself a meal.

I had ribeye as 13 items were listed as no-nos on their site. Could not chew it. I walked away after eating the sweet potato n a glass of water with a 35.00 check. This was one of our favorite restaurants. For 20 years we had every anniversary dinner at Outback. This time the ribs tasted as if they’d been dipped in salt. We are long time customers of Outback in other cities including Texas and North Carolina. We ordered our sirloins (2) 8 oz. They were flavorless and dry. The sides were good however we were really wanting steak. We know now not to order from Outback. There was a slight miscommunication with the staff during a swap in waitressing sections that lead to us being overlooked and for a longer than usual amount of time. When we brought it to their attention, I appreciated how quickly the team on the shift apologized and made sure that things were corrected. I love the fact that no one attempted to place blame on anyone else. The team for that shift appeared to support each other well and just focused on correcting the issue. That was very refreshing! The food was also well worth the wait!

I'm a senior I live in New Berlin. Aside from the fact that there are really no good restaurants to choose from, all fast food. Very unfortunate. Anyway I used to go to the outback on Moreland and Greenfield, excellent because of the management Ross. The new store has been a disappointment because of the management. They just don't seem to be able to get it together. I have eaten there several times and it is good days bad days. Normally eat at bar, always dirty have to ask to wipe down the bar please. After a second class meal, they present you with a kiosk to pay with it already set at 20% tip no matter what the case may have been. I'm not trying to be rude but if your food is not up to par it can be intimidating. The staff seems to be very nice, courteous.. The prices are extravagant, however I realize I'm a senior, not cheap but it is hard when you are used to the best. They need to get Ross back to straighten things out, even if temporary.

Update: I went back again today (march 29th 2025) and had a very poor experience for the first time ever. While I usually don't care what my server looks like, today she looked like a cat with so much makeup it was totally jarring to look at. The service was fine and we tipped her accordingly
The food was just OK. Steak was pretty good, mac n cheese wasn't as good as it usually is and was just warm. My aussie palmer came warm. My ice had melted very fast, but did finally cool off. My plate had lettuce on it, but nobody at my table had a salad or anything containing lettuce. Usually this place is a 10 out of 10, but today was a 6 at best. I'm gonna have to wait a while before trying them again. I was very disappointed.

Friendly service. The bathroom needed attention. The prime rib was really tough and disappointing. They said they'd get me a new piece, waited for 35 mins, then the piece they gave me was really fatty. Usually the prime rib is good. Bread and butter still good. Nice variety of drinks. A bummer, wait, wait, wait for butter, sour cream, and cheese.. getting really pricey, between the wait to be seated and the wait for new prime rib we were there over an hour extra.

Went there for dinner on Saturday, it was very busy. We made the online reservation and were seated with in 10min of our selected time. Our servers Jessie and Jesus were great! Hard to rate when you've been sitting at your table for what is now approaching ten minutes, without so much as a greeting "hey guys, welcome! Someone/i will be right with you!". But alas, someone named Ailyn was, finally, right with us. Her beaming smile and professionalism with just the right touch of humanness was promising.

Buuuut, the drinks came well after the appetizer was gone, in fact they came just behind the entrees. The food (I had the salmon) was delicious, pretty perfectly cooked and presented. Do the loaded mash for one of your sides. Omg. I'm coming back just for that.

Ambience is perfect for a date. You'll sit close to strangers but feel like you have your own space.

Overall, I'd give it a strong B to a weak A. Four stars. The service and timing seem somewhat discombobulated. The drinks should have come first, followed quickly by the apps, Then, a pause, and then the entrees. And my God someone should have greeted us within two minutes. That's the standard for this caliber of restaurant.

The food was grade A, spot-fricking on delicious. The kitchen is banging it out of the park. Front of house has to figure it out,

Be aware the menu delivery is misleading. Any good side is extra. I was pitched all the sides without being told they were extra and they weren't cheap.

The service was good. For some reason, they put the salad dressing on the bottom of the bowl. We thought they forgot the dressing so we asked for more. The soup, chicken, and shrimp pasta all came with chives. I didn't realize it and had to pick it all out. The chicken and shrimp pasta said it came in a "bold" alfredo sauce. I mean, it was fine? Not exactly the glowing review I would want to see, but it was fine. Wife and I came here because we had gift cards, and I can honestly say that would probably be the only reason we would return.

The drinks were fine, but forgettable. Too sweet to have more than one of them. I guess that's what we get for trying the $8 all day drink menu.

The food (Coconut Shrimp and Garlic Parm Bites), again were fine? Took forever for a couple fried items (about 20 minutes) when they weren't busy enough to justify that kind of wait for some apps. The shrimp was unremarkable, not something I'd get again. The Garlic Parm Bites were somehow completely devoid of any flavor at all. For a sauce with flavors as prominent as Garlic and parmesan, it tasted like nothing.

The bartender was great, didn't catch his name, but he was attentive and knowledgeable.

Went here for my father’s birthday last Sunday and had a lovely time. Very popular for Birthdays. Probably 6 different ones while we were there. We went to the Greenfield location and were told 45-75 min wait at 4:30, so we drive to Brookfield and got right in with 8 people in our group. Tried this location for the first time . The first thing i noticed when being walked to my table was how dirty the floors were. There was a ton of food and debris under my table and near my feet . We waited about 12 mins for service which okay cool not a huge deal but to atleast be acknowledged right away would have been nice . I never go to these chains but had a $150 gift card. They do a great job on to go orders.. These 4 tiny shrimp, a piece of greedy bread and a 1/3 cup of sauce was $8. That is outrageous and taking advantage of people.Giant rip off.

Ordered the steak and ribs. The steak was burnt on the outside and tough. The ribs where dry and tough. Will not be returning.
