This is a wonderful place to eat, or just simply sit with people and chat having a could of nice cold beers. Everyone in there is nice and the service is excellent. We had breakfast here last weekend with a group of 8 people , we waited over an hour for our food orders and none of the staff checked on us during that time . When we got our food it was burnt and we had to ask for new plates. The new plates came out within minutes left me surprised . Then no one checked on us for another hour as we waited for our check . The staff told us the reason for the inconvenience was brother system was down . Terrible service burnt food

Stopped in here on what is a known busy biker weekend. It was definitely understaffed as we waited probably 10-15 minutes to even have someone take our orders, but the food came out rather fast. Lisa did an A-MAZING job taking care our our Colorado/ Iowa motorcycle friends as we rolled in for lunch. She took charge, and handled it all by herself with the help of her cooking staff - Service was AWESOME, food was GREAT, and she was seriously, an amazing person to keep it all straight for OVER 40 people rolling in at one time! Biscuits and sausage gravy were off the hook. Possibly best I've ever had. Homemade Biscuits were so buttery. Sausage Gravy would have made my Grandma proud. I'm changing my 5 start rating to a 1. Menu options are now limited, food portions were significantly reduced and prices significantly increased for both food and beverages. Prices are significantly higher than nearby competition. Our party, as well as other guests present, had to wear coats inside during the winter to stay warm and later were sweating inside during the summer. The workers were even wearing coats. The beer was always ice cold with the previous owner, last time we were there it was only slightly chilled. Cameras are up on every corner, which is uncomfortably creepy. Burgers are repetively bloody, no matter the tempt requested. Previous owner supplied phenomenal, locally raised, organic beef. The beef now served doesn't compare. Taco Tuesdays and Fish Fridays are both disappointments to what was served in the past. No comparison at all.

Current owner: this facility is not located in the cities. Making necessary changes would bring costumers back who've given up on supporting this venue. The local competition in the area has this bar/restaurant beat. Due to the plethora of downgrades: many locals refuse to give this venue business- which will continue, unless the issues mentioned are improved. This venue was once a favorite for many locals. Would be nice if it could be again.

Was told by a friend of mine to get the best chicken in the area go to the outpost in bay city. Went there once and three days later again and probably alot more again's! Tried Friday fish fry on June 17. Some of the worst fish ever had. 3 pieces of very overcooked cod. Was like chewing shoe leather. Like trying out different fish frys around the area on fridays. Don’t think I’ll try again in future. Baked potato was good and roll was ok.

I've never had issues with their pizza. Just ate one tonight. Having worked in several pizza places, they do up a decent pizza gor a bar. Not frozen, or heggies, which you'd expect. New owner is super nice and doing all she can to please the locals but also appeal to new customers. My suggestion is to just come in and try for yourself. It's above par for a small town bar. 100%

It's hard to top the previous owner. There alot of changes for the positive that are happening. The chicken is still fabulous, cooked the same way. There is a different menu, more seating, more games for the children, outdoor seating. The new owner is super nice and of course the staff is mostly the same with a friendly smile. With change there are always those who will complain.

As a chief inspector for the Village of Bay City, we called and ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was the worst I have ever had . It was burnt also. We didn’t call back to complain because we had a job to do with the election. I also found out my husband came in for lunch and ordered a beer and two tacos, no one else ordering food and after twenty five minutes and being ignored by the bartender he paid for his bill and left, never getting his lunch. And a friend of ours was in there for another 30 minutes and the food never came out. So as a person who worked in retail, my question is where did that money go?
