Tried to order the $7.99 nachos online, but website doesn't work, so went in person. Was only one there and it took 25 minutes to get nachos. No prices on menu there. Was charged $16 for nachos. No receipt. No questions tolerated nor anwered. Chips were too stale to chew and sour cream was spoiled. Most reviews were good, but I wasn't one of the lucky ones.

This place lost our business! We went in and ordered food to go. The guy ignored my question and walked away when I asked the hours of the lunch buffet. He yelled at me when I requested 2 meats claiming I can only have 1. Then we watched him put our food in the microwave as if he didn’t want to cook. Then my food was over salty. This was the most disgusting experience ever. My man took clean plates and put them out on the table so when he saw them he would have to wash them. Moral of the story don’t be a disgusting jerk if you own a restaurant.

This place has a different vibe. They have a small lunch buffet, which is very good. It looks like the venue is a nightclub on the weekends, and they roll out tables and chairs for lunch.
The barbacoa, carnitas, and chucken tinga for tacos are great. Their chorizo us awesome, though I regretted it later. I will go back, for sure.

I really liked the concept. You can order an entre cooked or for about $15 you can get a drink and all you can eat taco buffet. The cook was very friendly and explained it very well. You can ask at the window for corn or flower tortillas if hard shell are not your thing. I really liked they had edible salad bowls and the green save was very good. I will be back!

Nice new taco place on the south side. All you can eat taco buffet, with tons of choices for fillings including shrimp, chorizo, ground beef, tinga, pastor, and chicken with nopales. Also taco bowls if you want to make a salad, and tamales. Full buffet with soups and drink included is only $12.

I’ve been to Paco’s Tacos a couple of times now. I wanted to like the place because I live a few minutes away and love tacos. The first time I visited, the man behind the counter seemed very impatient, almost angry when I asked a few questions about the menu. I thought that perhaps it was just a bad day, so I came back a few weeks later to give it another try. Same experience with the guy - hostile demeanor. The food is decent but not memorable- and certainly not worth making me feel like I did something wrong the minute I stepped into the restaurant.

Just my own personal thought, so to each their own. I wanted to try a new taco place here in Madison and I have to say, I will easily pass on returning to this restaurant next time I'm in the mood for tacos. The meat in the tacos lacked flavor and the meat didn't taste like it was cooked hot or fresh, considering how slow the business appeared to be. Paco's Tacos is off the beaten path. It is a few blocks east of Fish Hatchery Rd and well worth stopping to eat here. It is a spacious place. The buffet is well worth the price! There are variety of options on the buffet for everyone. The pork ribs were delicious and had an amazing flavor. There was also chicken, chorizo, ground beef, cacti, carnitas, beans, and rice to make hard shell tacos, taco salad, or nachos. They warmed up some corn and flour tortillas which were not on the buffet line. The have super fresh toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, limes, etc.) and clementines in the other buffet line. The service was simple and good.

I am from Arizona, so finding the kind of Street tacos I'm used to has been difficult. Eating at Pacos Tacos was like a taste of home.

I got carne asada and carnitas tacos (steak and shredded pork). The tacos were flavorful, and decent portions. A side of rice and beans completed the meal, with that delicious fluffy Mexican rice, and some real frijoles.

The spice level is what I would call mild on the red sauce, and the green sauce is basically not spicy at all, but has a good Verde flavor.

The location is probably not the best as it is a hidden gem behind a motorcycle dealership and next to a couple of other small businesses. It would be easy to miss, but so worth a stop in!

This visit was weird but good. I didn't know what to expect going in. The restaurant is a large open room with a few tables and a bunch of Latino decor. You order at the window, and you get a buzzer that lets you know when to pick up your food; there isn't table service. We were confused by the space until we realized that they turn the restaurant into a Nightclub on some nights. How creative! The food was really quite good. I ate my whole plate and was happy with every bite.

We were in town for a show and needed some food.
We came here without calling ahead and realized they were closed for a private event.
The guy working saw we were hungry and confused and offered to make us something from a limited menu.
We watched the DJ do sound tests and the staff set up while they made our food
Incredibly grateful you guys made food for us.
As for that food, SO GOOD! We had a small variety of insanely good tacos and hot sauce.

I was excited to check this place out because it is right next to my daughter's daycare and I had been wanting to try it for a while, but after today I will never be coming back. The server behind the counter was the opposite of helpful. He barely acknowledged my daughter and I when we walked in and even when we ordered. He just turned around and walked away and told us to have a seat. The food was fine--not bad, not great. Compared to Taqueria Guadalajara it is sub-par and A LOT more expensive. I paid over $30 for what would have cost me $20 at TGs. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this place, but it ended up being a total disappointment.

Heard about Taco Tuesday on Reddit and went for lunch. There was a buffet instead, and while I was concerned about COVID we gave it a go because there were only 3 other customers when we arrived at 12:10pm. The gentleman we paid up at the kitchen counter area was very friendly and polite!

My friends and I thought both the ground beef and steak had very little flavor, and they weren't hot. I thought the pork carnitas tasted very good but also seemed just 'warm'. My friend had one spoonful of soup and decided not to finish it as ahe felt it lacked flavor. She liked her tamale "okay".Shrimp, tongue and a couple of other hot proteins were also available. There was a nice variety of hard corn shells and chips (no soft flour). The crema, cilantro, tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheese were very fresh and cold. In lieu of avocado slices or guac there was a nicely seasoned avocado hot sauce along with other sauces and salsas. Unfortunately, there was small bucket containing a rag and (I assume) soap water sitting atop the buffet table....it was just above food and was very unappealing; it wasn't used the 1.5+ hours we were there. I think another 4 or 5 customers had come in before we left at just before 2pm.

Torta loka is the delicious mess you expect it to be being a "throw everything between two prices of bread" kind of sandwich. Every layer on there was individually good and great together. Portion was enough for two meals for me with some chips and guac. Guac was actually really delicious but seemed to be a bit low on the total amount of avocado in there.
