We celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Paddock Club after reading reviews and hearing from locals that it was a good restaurant.We were not disappointed.
My wife started with the porcini mushroom soup, very tasty but could have had more mushrooms.
I had cod and clams with chorizo and toasted bread. This was very good but only had 3 little neck clams.I would have liked a few more clams. The cod was excellent.
We shared a wedge salad.It was very good, everything you would expect from a wedge salad. Our main entrees were halibut and grilled half chicken. Both were delicious. I seldom order chicken but since this had Oaxacan spices I had to give it a try.
Our servers were pleasant and attentive.

Also there were no added credit card fees. A definite benefit. Personally,I am avoiding restaurants that charge add on fees.

Chef-owner Lynn Chisholm oversees the kitchen, and from what I could see an all women cooking staff. These ladies are preparing some excellent meals. I would say that this is without a doubt Elkhart Lakes' best restaurant.
I would definitely return.

The Paddock Club is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Elkhart Lake. The warm, inviting atmosphere, friendly bartenders, and exceptional food make every visit a treat. If gnocchi is on the menu, I never pass it up—it’s simply the best! Their small plates menu is always outstanding and perfect for sharing, making dining with a group even more fun and interactive. I especially enjoy sitting at the bar for a more relaxed and social experience, but for larger gatherings, the "stage" offers a more private and intimate setting. Highly recommend!

Amazing gourmet options for vegans which is a tall order to fill in Wisconsin! I had the farro with summer squash, crispy Brussel sprouts and other yummy things. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked. Everything came out evenly hot and it was a perfect blend of flavors. The bread is excellent too, crunchy crust and tender light rye inside with tiny bits of seeds. It all went so well with a Corpse Reviver which I highly recommend!!

Food was great! Had a large party with small children, they were very accommodating, taking our party to the back raised area. Overall it was very loud inside so it was nice we were tucked away a bit. Decorated very quaint for the holidays. Great vibe and a buzzing place. I would definitely recommend reservations at the weekend. My hanger steak though, was really underwhelming. For $35.00 I was expecting a lot more than a chewy peice of meat in a salty, brown sauce. I should have sent it back but I was so hungry after the wait I didn’t. My bad. Was it a one off? I would like to give the place another try as they had some interesting dishes, but not a good first impression.

We made a 7:15pm reservation and got seated right away. It took 10 mins for someone to bring water. Finally when we waiter came to our table after another 10 minutes we ordered wine and appetizers which took another 15 minutes to arrive. We were surprised at the time it took to get wine served. The mushroom risotto balls and Halibut were good. I highly recommend it. The baked mozzarella sauce was very salty (I eat a lot of salt and it was salty for me) and the potato gnocchi was disappointing. Overall I will give 3 out of 5

We visited Elk Heart Lake this weekend and enjoyed our dinner so much that we dined there again the second night. We enjoyed the arugula salad and the wedge. The salads are big enough to share. The bolognese pasta dish is a must, and the filet mignon melts in your mouth. My husband and I are well traveled and have dined in many restaurants with exceptional experiences. The food was excellent but they kept us waiting 25 minutes for our table after our reservation time, and then the server didn't come to our table for another 10 minutes after that. I had the chicken and we also did the calamari and French fries appetizers. They were tasty. Their bar makes a good old fashioned as well.

Wow, gotta give it up for a place like this with a super respectable menu and the finished product to match. Everything was great, well seasoned and cooked perfectly (though the watermelon salad could use a little more seasoning and my caramelized onions on the hanger steak could use a little less :)) As a restauranteur and someone who has cooked in everything from food trucks to 3-Michelin star places, I know what it takes to put out consistently high quality food like this. Cocktail game looked strong, though didn’t indulge. Wine list could use a little beefing up, but some really strong performers from across the globe were present on the list. Cheers to this crew, what a great meal and we’ll certainly be back every time we visit, and likely once more before we leave too.

fantastic food, some of the best we have had in wisconsin during our trip. actually, i wish we had the paddock club near our home, we would order from here all the time. take out was great, food was fresh, hot, and even the fries stayed delicious on the drive home. the hostess was friendly and helpful, helping us choose items for our kid who has some allergies. everything was prepared carefully and our child liked all of the items, a rarity in some toddlers, certainly mine. the hanger steak was sublime. will definitely be returning, and hopefully for a dine in experience, as the restaurant looks very inviting and clean, with a friendly atmosphere.

What can you say about the Paddock club? This is the restaurant that every other restaurant gets measured against. Ordered a Duvall Belgium ale which actually came in a Duvall Belgium ale glass. Then for the main entree I had the halibut. The halibut came served on pureed potatoes along with mushrooms, asparagus, and burre blanc sauce. The food and beer were great. For dessert I had the pannacotti with fresh vegetables. At ten dollars it should have been a larger portion. The service was not so good. Our waitress was busy with a table of ten or more with no help so she pretty much ignored me.

The place was slammed. Every table was taken. We had another appointment later. We started to wait at the bar. After a while we asked if we could just eat at the bar. They agreed and set us up with some amazing food. They apologized for not having a table and mentioned they broke seating records on 7/16 and 7/17 before we even got there. Did you speak to a Manager or Owner before posting your review? Both Restaurants always have Owners on site and they would have certainly addressed your concerns, it is disappointing to see people criticize. Have always loved the Paddock Club. But last night was a disappointing experience. Had an 8:15 res. and did not get our food until 9:45. I understand there's a shortage of help but should have been told when res. was made we will have to wait a long time. Food last night was also not up to its normal high standards. We made a quick visit from Chicago, and we're just looking for a place for dinner. We had driven by a few other restaurants in town where it didn't seem like people were wearing masks or social distancing. The staff here was taking all safety precautions, and we felt very comfortable.

They had multiple beers on tap, and lots of great cocktails.
The calamari was delicious and the eggplant parmesan was amazing -- big portions too! I like that their menu items were all classic comfort food options, with a unique little twist on it. I believe that the menu changes every once in a while, and I would definitely come again to try the other options. Save room for dessert!
