We didn't order any food, but tried several of the beers via beer flight and thought they had a nice and fun selection. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating to our dog. They even brought her a bowl of water. The space is super cool and they had nice live music outside. We liked that it wasn't super crowded and was off the busy strip and Dells Parkway area, but still close to where we were staying. We would definitely come back. Prices were also fair.

We were here last year several times and thought the food and service was great, so we thought we try it again seeing we were in town. We were here for the fish fry 4 pice for 19.99 what a rip off the pickles looked like they took 2 4oz of cod and cut them in half greed In America my wife order 3 pice baked and gave her 2 pice fried had to send back to kitchen got her order of backed and serve it with starter sauce which should of been melted butter, don't the cooks now how to serve different meals. The server wasn't trained on what they have for your fish fry maybe have a meeting before they start their shift on what the guest can be served. What a poor experience we won't be back and we will let all our friend know. Food was good service and pricing poor go back to how it was last year

About 7 months ago I had left a review on here that wasn't very good. However, I am editing it because we have visited here three more times and the food and service was fantastic. Pals is a fine place to stop in the Dells for food and a decent beer. They have a big seating area inside and out. The bar area is a little small and not special but clean. The service is friendly and attentive. This is a brewery but they do not brew on site.

On my stop they had 16 of their beers on tap including: hefeweizen, belgian strong golden ale, black IPA, american IPA, NEIPA hazy triple, pumpkin amber, cream ale, chili cream ale, pickle cream ale, apricot wheat, and a raspberry fruited ale. Of the beers I tried everything was good but nothing blew my mind. 4 star brewery, I would stop for a beer again, might try the food next time.

Was quite impressed with their food we had their chili with cheese, onions, and sour cream. It has very hearty and very tasty. We also had a veggie pizza, was very good fresh veggies including the mushrooms (not a fan of canned), toppings were places very well and plentiful, sauce and crust were very good as well. We heard about Pals two years ago, the last time we visited the Dells. This year we made it a point to stop by, and I’m so glad we did!
We were seated immediately. Our food was ready quickly. Our orders were all accurate and delicious. Perfectly prepared.
Our waiter was friendly and fast. He made sure my kids were happy, always checking to see if they needed anything else. When the kids are happy, the parents can relax and enjoy their dinner out. Kudos to our waiter. Friendly guy from Europe.
My wife and I both enjoyed the beer! I had a flight and ended up buying 2 crowlers to take home. The beer was fairly priced for how good it was. If I was a local, I’d be at Pals easily once or twice a week.
When we asked for the check, it was ready within one minute. Some places you wait 10 mins just to get your check, and it sours the experience. Not here. Got us in quick, let us dine and drink all we wanted, then boom! Got us out when we were ready. Bought some merch and went on our way.
Already looking forward to coming back next summer!

Stopped here with our dogs to taste some new beers while we were waitng to be able to check into our hotel.

The beers were really good for being in a tourist area and had a good variety of styles on tap.

The out door seating was large and had games available to play. Our pups enjoyed the space though it's not fenced in.

Service was a bit slow but the young lady was nice.

We didn't try the food as it was basic/normal brewery food.

Woukd definitely go back again for the beer and for our pups to be able to hang with us.

Came in on a tuesday night, sat outside. The patio tables have umbrellas which eventually saved us from the rain. Nice beer selection. SO we decided to head to the Dells for a quick two day trip before school starts again. And as I was looking for a friendly great food experience, I found Pals Brewing. The staff were accomodating to me and other customers with a quick smile and bringing goods to folks. Our server, host, and bus boy were turned out Bulgarian, and I was trying to talk to them in German.. omg, such a funny experience, and I was able to say hello in Bulgarian. The food came out so good, I over ordered, and they gave me plenty of time to finish my beer and pizza.. My daughter loved the patio games, and it was one of the best parts of our trip. The IPA was delicious.. it was strong, and the dessert was perfect.. they wrote happy birthday to my daughter for me. I will definitely always go there if I am in town.

First time back in the area after moving away from the Dells, and we decided to try Pals. When we walked in, the restaurant felt spacious but underutilized. Our waitress was polite but only average in service and didn’t seem very familiar with the menu. We requested two beer samples, and the pours we received were less than a sip each.

While we were there, a storm rolled in. Guests seated outside under umbrellas were caught in the wind, which flipped tables and sent umbrellas flying. Only one staff member went out to help, while several others stood inside watching. I went out myself to assist people in getting inside safely. There was enough staff present to help, but most didn’t step in until nearly everyone was already inside.

The “chicken” was bagged, frozen chicken patties, the chicken Caesar salad was not the quality you would expect for the price we paid. This pub is very overpriced for the food they offer. We only ordered water for drinks for 4 people and the cups are very small. Instead of refilling at the table with a pitcher, they take your water cup and refill it at the bar which seems strange, especially with multiple people at the table needing refills at once.

Outstanding food! We had the Farmette pizza (delicious!) and some nachos. The first time we had the nachos, they were really great, we just would've liked it with a bit more shredded cheese. Hello friends, how's it going in the Dell's? Are you having a great time and eating some great food? How about a crafty craft brew? I had a few tasters here. I've made my own beers years ago. And it's a unique art. These craft beers are flavorful and tasty!
We had pizza and wings, and they were both bang on and scrumptious !!! Nice toasty thin crust and lightly sauced and loaded with toppings! The wings were done just right. They were moist with the buffalo seasoning we ordered. These wings just enhanced the pizza and beer experience. Great job! The staff I spoke with interacted with a caring professional attitude. Adam, Preslar, and Tasheka showed that this isn't just another place of good food. The staff are what I call "people person" people. The owner Mike is another individual of that same quality. Its true, I agree with everyone that I've talked with there, Mike's a great boss with a professional, but easy going way about him. I'll stop in, every time I visit the Dells. There's other items on the menu I want to try anyway, so it's a plan. See you guys there.

We were in the Dells over the 4th of July weekend and ate here TWICE! Fantastic place with an excellent selection of beer and decent food. We stopped in for lunch the day we arrived on Thursday the 3rd. We ordered beer and sandwiches and everyone enjoyed both. I particularly liked the Chameleon Hazy IPA. The service was good but we did not recall our servers name.

We returned again on Sunday night, 6 July. Our server was Emre, and he was excellent. Once again we had a few beers, all excellent, and also ordered pizza on this visit, also excellent.

We highly recommend this establishment when in the Dells!

I would not recommend going to this place at all. From the moment we got there,I was a little put off with the host. Our server, Armend was literally the worst server I have ever had. He was offering my husband samples of their brew but not really listening to what kind my husband prefers. My husband ended up not even getting any of their brew because he couldn't find one to his liking. We placed our order for a cheeseburger and asked for lettuce and tomato to be put on the side and the server told us that is not possible. We also asked for ketchup and mayonnaise to be put on our sandwich. When we received the food, there was lettuce and tomato on the sandwich, and there was no ketchup and mayo. My husband had to hunt the server down in order to get the ketchup and mayo. We also ordered beer, battered fries, and the server brought us loaded fries, which is not what we ordered. We ended up just canceling the fry order altogether because by that time we were done eating. While we were there, another couple came and left immediately without even placing an order. The service was absolutely horrific.

I came here with my grandson and we're from chicago, so we have the best pizza in the world. but honestly, I i will put this pizza in my top five, including everything i've had in chicago!!!! The crust was perfect. The sauce was AMAZING and the italian sausage was some of the best i've ever tasted!!!! Stopped here on 6/4 on vacation, the atmosphere and layout was open and spacious; I sat on the patio which was great. Our server was polite however his attention to the actual service was less than great. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, arrived with no dressing or silverware. Asked for the dressing (buffalo ranch as stated on the menu) was given straight buffalo hot sauce. I DID attempt to like it but it wasn’t doing it so I requested some ranch to just add to it. Took 3 tries to get said ranch, including me having to go inside and find the server. Our drinks were never refilled. I attempted to get my salad reduced because of everything aforementioned and was given 10%. I am not a person who does that so it was a big deal, I’ve worked food service and treat staff with the same respect I would want. I wanted to love this place, I really did.
Lastly and I don’t blame this establishment bc top culture is out of hand.. but WHY is the default 25% with (not to my eyes) no option.. or to customize..?

Our first time at Pals. Our friends that we came with have been at it before and enjoyed it. The atmosphere is new and modern. Clean and fresh. The brewery had some great flavors of beer. Food was pretty good. Subbed in cheese curds instead of the chips and it was $11.99 up charge for about 8 cheese curds! This is crazy.
Our server was very nice and did a great job.
Atmosphere is sweet, love the outdoor space, has a lot of potential!

My party was the only people waiting to be seated and it took 10 minutes. The waiter spilled my beer when he gave it to me. As soon as he gave us our food he said we had to pay our bill because he had to get to his next job. I am a local and have been to your restaurant many times but after this I will never be back and I will spread the word that this is not a local friendly restaurant.

Atrocious experience. Waiter did not know anything about the menu or beverages. Upon dropping them off he spilled the beer. The salsa was Tostitos flavorless. Once our waiter dropped the food he asked for us to pay and then said someone would be over. No one was. Joke of a restaurant, don't work in hospitality if you are that awful of a server. Stick to other jobs.

Food was mediocre but the service was horrendous. One of the food runners spilled some sauce which splattered over my girls clothing. Nobody noticed or did anything, despite later expressing frustration with the wait staff. Low floor low ceiling type of establishment — the reward for visiting just isn’t there.

Just passing through and saw Pals from the highway. Easy on easy off location. Lots of seating outdoors amd indoors as well. Great bands lined up for the summer.

heard salads weren’t good from 3 people at table and portions were smaller waitress kept leaving and not coming back and forgot drinks for over 20 minutes then when we told another person she took another 10-15 minutes and brought our drinks finally and they weren’t even good from more than one person keep in mind.

Our server was nice but it took about 15 minutes to get our glass of beer and mule. It wasn’t busy at all so the bar shouldn’t have been overwhelmed. She took our order, 1 Caesar salad with chicken and one pals supremo and a truffle fries. The Cesar salad was pathetically small for the price (only had about 3 handfuls of Romain lettuce, a tiny amount of cheese and a little Bit of croutons) and we didn’t receive the chicken, chicken came back out 10 minutes later after we told them it was missing. Overall really disappointing considering how high of reviews they have. But it was kinda telling when we walked in to a nearly dead restaurant on a Saturday where the strip was PACKED with people.

Awesome and creative bar food, some of the beers were very interesting and the takeaway cans are very cool. If you like sports which I will be honest I am not into you will love it more but even if you don’t it’s a great spot for family n friends.

Stopped by for a quick drink and some food. It was not too busy, but looked like a fun place to hang out with friends or watch a game. Nice bar and separate dinning area. They had an outdoor space with cornhole, etc.

Service was fast and friendly. Nice selection of beers on tap. A variety of burgers and other "bar food." I would come back to this place no problem.

I had to cancel my Arizona trip due to a cancer diagnosis, so we decided a weekend away in the Dells would at least provide an enjoyable time away. Excited to enjoy Wisconsin fish fry, I was overly disappointed not to be provided with any allergen fish options (broiled). I ended up with a dry cobb salad with sub par cooked bacon and tasteless chicken. My spouse ate overpriced perch. 3 tiny pieces served with coleslaw that was not good, and no Friday fish fry rye bread...
Then, a large party of screaming kids was say in the large dining area that echoed to the point of being unable to talk to my family or relax. I left $58 hungry and anxious. Additionally, several staff were often gathered at the hostess station on their phones. The waitress we had was kind and i think she felt bad that they did not provide any allergen (gluten and dairy) friendly items...

A great new venue with inside and outside seating. A little strange layout. The staff seemed friendly we only had a flight. Okay beers overall, food looked great and always seems like entertainment is happening with yard games. Great for all ages and pets included.

When you walk in through the side door you walk across a lit room while listening to a band play on the small stage. You reach a podium that asks you to “please wait to be seated” as servers literally walk past you several times without acknowledging you. You finally get seated and are given their very large menu. I don’t mean a lot of choices, I mean a massive in size book menu. Service started off okay, and quickly declined. We got the chips and salsa as an appetizer. Stale chips and jar salsa is what we got. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with no tomatoes or onions. You guessed it - it came with both. I ordered the Philly with Au Jus and the beer battered fries. When it reached the table, the beer battered fries were in a soggy blob on the newspaper-covered plate. No Au Jus was given and we had to get the waiters attention to get any as he dropped the food and ran. The Philly meat was on a stale hoagie bun that they grilled the top of and burnt. The meat had no flavor. Getting refill on our drink wasn’t happening as our server was sitting at another table. 10/10 do not recommend. We even warned a large group of 10 or so from MN outside that they would not want to eat here. They left and went to Applebees - had to be a better choice. I left over half of the Philly on the plate and all of the fries and respectfully declined a to-go box. My husband and I are on an adventure roadtrip from SD for our anniversary and we just got burned bad on food here. Lesson learned. Onto the next!

Amazing beer options you won't find anywhere else around! I recommend the Java Nilla Cream Ale and Jalapeno Cream Ale. Both are equally delicious and captured the flavor of coffee and jalapeno that I have not seen before.

Had a date night with the wife one Friday night which is very popular to get fried fish. We aren’t huge on fried fish so we both got burgers. Pals has a menu that has quite a few options not just for burgers but everything from fish fry to salads to pizza. Burgers were a typical burger but tasted good along with the chips. I would recommend going to Pals for an easy date night meal or family meal! Good job Pals!

We stopped here on a Monday 3/31/25. My neighbor who I was taking to the Mayo Clinic, stopped here for an early dinner. Although he was difficult to please, I was satisfied with my Rueben sandwich and onion rings plus a green salad. Atmosphere was pleasant. Nice and spacious with large picnic style tables and benches. There’s a stage for live music. I loved the bathroom motif of corrugated metal panels and hammered copper wash basins. I want to thank our server, Jaydah for being patient with my finnicky neighbor. He was really hungry and gets an attitude.
