Before we left Wisconsin to head back home to Florida we stopped here because it was recommended for having great breakfast and that was TRUE! This place was so comforting from the minute we walked in to our server and the food.. absolutely delicious and plentiful. Their peanut butter pie dessert was THE BESSST!!! When we go back to Wisconsin next year, we will definitely visit this cute little restaurant again. I had a meat skillet - SOOOO good!!! 😋😋💯👍🏻

Great place to stop for breakfast if you're in the Wisconsin Rapids area. Busy with locals, which is always a great sign! We were seated quickly even though they looked pretty busy. Staff was wonderful the whole time. Food was exactly what you'd hope for, delicious, made from scratch, proper American breakfast food. The biscuits and gravy, hash browns with gravy and eggs and the country fried steak, were all perfect. Their homemade breads are a notch above anything you get in most restaurants. Even the coffee was pretty good! Plenty of parking. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped in for the first time and ordered a build your own skillet and the special of blueberry pancakes with lemon glaze. Hubby didn't even need to put syrup on the pancakes. I have lived in Wisconsin for 25 years, and this is the best chicken fried steak I've had since I moved here from Texas. The staff is super friendly, especially Toni. The decor was nostalgic. The food was obviously made from scratch, perfectly seasoned and crispy. Seriously, you have to stop here.

This place is amazing!! The staff is very polite and attentive and the food is delicious. I had a bacon and cheddar omelet with hash browns and marble rye, and my wife had a bacon, green pepper, onion, and cheddar skillet with marble rye.
Everything was amazing, and the prices seem to be very fair.

The banana Foster cakes were amazing. The sauce that was put on. It was very sweet and it complimented the banana pancakes. Wow! They also have homemade bread if you s would like some get there early because it sells out !!! My husband and I love Misty's. We've been there a few times already, and we've loved it. Knowing that it is now under new ownership, we wanted to try something new. Today is our 18th anniversary, and I wanted breakfast with my beloved husband. He ordered the Country Fried Steak Skillet again. Cannot say enough good things about Misty’s Menu!! From the homemade bread, pastries, soups and desserts, to the friendly staff and cleanliness - do not miss out if you are in the area!!
The homemade honey oat bread is the best bread I’ve ever had - add it as a side to whatever you order. We had a slice of the strawberry rhubarb pie and a slice of the lemon dream cheesecake for dessert and both are outstanding!
The owner was in while we were there because she noticed how busy it was and wanted to lend a hand. The staff is HAPPY and clearly well cared for by the owners and that results in excellent customer service.
We will be stopping in whenever we are in the area.

We've eaten at Misty's even before it was Misty's & have never been disappointed with anything we've eaten. They are well known for their homemade breads. One in particular is their apple bread that they usually keep next to their cash register. Sadly, with the increase in food costs their apple bread has succumbed to inflation & is now a mini loaf. It's still good though & the perfect size for hubby & I to share. It is a small diner, but we like the food, so it doesn't matter. They have booths, tables and seats at the counter, just like back in the day.

We only waited 2 minutes to be seated, the parking lot was full. The hostess was very warm and welcoming, and kid friendly. Drinks came out quickly, and a full carafe of coffee (nice and strong). The kids mouse pancakes were the size of full dinner plates, homemade bread was seasoned well and flavorful, the green and gold skillet was delicious. All veggies cooked through but not mushy, eggs exactly as ordered and Hollandaise sauce was creamy and smooth.
The staff communicated well with each other to keep all orders moving along and tables cleared. Everyone was smiling, very pleasant atmosphere. No photos because everything was eaten quickly.

I have enjoyed Misty's Menu over the years and wanted to try it after the ownership changed hands. Let me tell you, everything is just as excellent as it was- the food, the service, (is actually even better now!), and it is always clean and inviting. I have enjoyed it 4 times now in the last 4 months. The pancakes pictured here are my sons- they are dinner plate sized and perfect! I love the country fried steak skillet! A layered skillet of country fried steak, hash browns, mushrooms, peppers, onions and sausage gravy and comes with their delicious home-made bread! Their sausage links are the best I've had since I was a kid. Service has been excellent every time, and I've had different waitresses- all attentive and polite. They check on your repeatedly to make sure all is well. I went once with my elderly parents and the waitress was so wonderful with them. Very nice people! Portions are huge! Have had to get a go box every time. So thankful to have a 5 star cafe so close to Nekoosa and Wisconsin Rapids!

The eggs were served cold the pancake was plate size but it was stuck to the plate. You couldnt even scrape it off it was like they cooked it on the plate. We just recently moved here and this has become one of our favorite spots. That was at least until today. I’d like to start by saying the food is almost always wonderful and the staff great. Until today. My family and I decided to go have lunch there as we have done the last 3 Saturday’s in a row. Saturday is the one day during the week when my family and I can sit down together and enjoy a meal together a week due to work and school . Usually we do breakfast but today we had a lot of stuff to do so we got lunch instead . I ordered the special and asked to sun mashed potatoes for French fries , gravy on the side. My food didn’t arrive as I ordered it. My waitress offered to fix it but seeing as my family already had their food I declined. My family was already eating and halfway done with their food. So I sat there. Not eating it because by the time this waitress would have brought it the rest would be cold. I didn’t complain to the waitress or a manager. I just mentioned to my husband I was miffed at having to pay full price for a meal I wasn’t going to eat. All of a sudden she comes back with the part of the order that I declined. I told her she should not have done that because I was not going to eat it. As she’s walking away she says “ I don’t see what the problem is , it’s the same meal “ loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. I’ve never been treated like that at a restaurant in my entire life. She boxed up the food brings it back and said in the most condescending tone I have ever heard “ Here you go , sorry I ruined your day “ by this time I was furious and replied “ you didn’t ruin my day just my lunch “. Then I hear her ( from across the restaurant) complaining to her little waitress friends about me and that I had the audacity to be upset with my experience. I’ve been a server and done customer service all of my life . I did not complain to her or the staff. The only person I told I was upset was my husband so it’s not like I was causing a scene. I expressed to my husband that it was extremely rude of her to complain about me within earshot. I was so upset I left the food there. I ended up paying $40 for a bowl of chilli , ( husbands order ) and chicken strips and fries ( our daughters order ) Misty’s Menu I love your establishment , the food is almost always wonderful. The staff is usually upbeat and accommodating. But I was appalled at the lack of customer service today and the fact that her disgusting behavior was tolerated . To the lady who was my server ( red hair , floral printed dress , lots of tattoos ) you need lessons in customer service. Your behavior should not be tolerated at all. I’m sad we have to find a new Saturday spot

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have decent portion sizes for the price as well. Would have to day this is my favorite place to go for breakfast!! Staff is friendly and amazing as well. Have always had a great experience when dining here. Would highly recommend!!!!

Great food, huge portions. The waitress was fantastic! We wound up laughing every time she came to our table. We enjoyed everything about the experience and will definitely be back.
