Pancho and Lefty’s was really good. We had the brisket and Mac and cheese. I usually don’t order Mac & Cheese from restaurants because it’s so hit or miss. I’m glad I took the plunge because I was not disappointed. The brisket was tender and juicy. The bread pudding is also really good. The service was great and the food came out fast. I definitely recommend checking them out.

after years we finally went here last night after the supper rush time. what's the hype? we expected a wait- 25 minutes that's fine. waitress looked and sounded annoyed right from the start. the smoked smell always is good so got a brisket sandwich, he got shrimp w/grits (not tender) and deviled eggs.
the eggs wer sour and baby food texture (guess if u like that) and brisket was way over cooked n needed a knife to get a piece off, tasted like burned metal. while there the other staff was collecting and reaching over people to collect the table sauces and rushing people out. if you want to close at 9 don't seat people to rush them out and take their table items. when waitress came back we said the brisket was bad, she said cook probly won't make it but did. got a pulled pork sandwich instead n we said we will feed that brisket to the dogs. never brought the coleslaw and pickle that came with it, didn't get fresh fries. charged full price for burned brisket/no sides and full price for sandwich still no sides n rushed us out. the dogs chewd on the meat like a rawhide for 10 minutes. don't seat people if u can't service. won't be back and won't recommend. the food is definitely not worth the price. 33$ just for dog food n half a pork sandwich not counting the rest.

Pancho & Lefty's is worth stopping for a bite to eat. My wife and I had 2 burgers, Chipotle and Mushroom, and they were both exactly what was expected. Make sure to ask for lettuce and tomato. The food was not fancy, but it was a solid meal and it tasted great. Next time we are in the beautiful city of Monroe we will go back.

We have never had a disappointing experience when dining in at Pancho and Lefty’s, nor have we when doing carry-out. The owner has been present every time we’ve been there and has always been so kind to us, even when out in public. Excellent food that is worth the wait every single time. The food was amazing. They seated us right away. It is a small restaurant. We had the Kung Pao chicken appetizer and burgers. The burger with the brisket on it was what I had and was Really delicious. Instead of 1000 island sauce It should have had bbq sauce (which was at the table and I added). The macaroni and cheese is Really tasty and generous portions all around. Highly recommend. The only drawback is the tables are so close together you can hear the conversations of everyone around you.

🙅🏽‍♂️Tex Mex isn't for me, I prefer authentic Mexican. Prices were much too high, cash only which I don't keep on me & cc doesn't have a pin to pull cash out. Dish\portion size were much smaller than most Mexican restaurants. 🤦🏽‍♂️

😮‍💨Limited seating with rain outside when we went, there was already 7 people waiting before they even opened! There's plenty of other surrounding buildings gone out of business, consider a bigger place🤔

OH, WOW! I will be going to Monroe much more frequently just to eat here!

We ordered a basic burrito with beans instead of meat, a side/house salad with a small mac and cheese, and the vanilla cake with strawberry sauce. I cannot exclaim enough how delicious everything was! The salad ingredients were especially fresh and crisp, and the strawberry sauce with the cake was more like someone had JUST mushed up a bunch of fresh, ripe strawberries and put it in the container.

From Verona but we went to Pancho and Lefty’s on a Friday night for the first time to meet friends for dinner.
My god it was not what I expected, the food surprised me beyond belief.

We shared steak nachos and chips with guacamole. Both were amazing.

Then main course. I went with the burger special. Smash burger with brisket, bacon…. Have been dreaming of that burger days later. By far the best burger I have had in years.

You can try to get a reservation, walk-ups are welcome (but generally needing a well worth it wait). Tex-Mex inspired everything, with a smoke influenced twist.
